Background:In recent years, the incidence and mortality of colorectal carcinoma have been increasing rapidly. Diagnosing and treating cancer at gene level have become a new effective approach. Aims:To investigate the expression of S-phase kinase-associated protein 2(Skp2)and its relationship with vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and tumor microvessel density(MVD)in colorectal carcinoma. Methods:Thirty-five colorectal carcinoma patients from March 2014 to March 2015 at People’s Hospital of Hubei University of Medicine were enrolled. Fifteen para-cancerous tissue samples were served as controls. The expressions of Skp2,VEGF and MVD value were determined by immunohistochemical SP, and their relationships with clinicopathological characteristics were analyzed. Results:The expression of Skp2 in colorectal carcinoma was significantly higher than that in para-cancerous tissue( P = 0. 000),and was correlated with tumor differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P < 0. 05),but not with gender, age and TNM stage(P > 0. 05). Expression of VEGF and MVD value were significantly higher than those in para-cancerous tissue(P = 0. 019,P = 0. 002),and were correlated with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P < 0. 05). Expression of Skp2 was positively correlated with the expression of VEGF and MVD value in colorectal carcinoma( r = 0. 569,P = 0. 000;r = 0. 481,P = 0. 017 ). Conclusions:The abnormal high expression of Skp2 is involved in the angiogenesis of colorectal carcinoma. Skp2,VEGF expressions and MVD value may be served as important markers for malignancy degree of colorectal carcinoma.

ObjectiveTo observe the synergistic action of lower He-sea and Front-mu points in treating functional dyspepsia by adopting electroacupuncture at the lower He-sea and Frong-mu points of stomach.MethodSixty patients with functional dyspepsia were randomized into a lower He-sea group, a Front-mu group, and a combining group of lower He-sea and Front-mu points, to receive treatment once daily, 5 sessions a week, totally for 4 weeks. Nepean Dyspepsia Index (NDI) was tested before and after intervention, and the general therapeutic efficacy was evaluated.ResultThe total effective rate was 100.0% in the combining group, versus 90.0% in the Front-mu group and 90.0% in the lower He-sea group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The follow-up study showed that the total effective rate was 100.0% in the combining group, versus 90.0% in the Front-mu group and 85.0% in the lower He-sea group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Before treatment, therewere no significant inter-group differences in comparing Nepean Dyspepsia Symptom Index (NDSI) and Nepean Dyspepsia Life Quality Index (NDLQI)(P>0.05), while there were significant differences in comparing NDSI and NDLQI after treatment (P<0.05). ConclusionIt can improve the functional dyspepsia symptoms by using the lower He-sea point and Front-mu point together or using them separately, while the combining use can produce a more significant efficacy.

0.05).Significant differences were observed in analgesia grade between two groups.Visual analogue scores(VAS) in different postoperative time points(4,8,12,24 and 48h) were lower in experiment group than those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Flurbiprofen axeti1 has preemptive analgesia effects with the chosen dosage regimen in patients undergoing thoracotomy and doesn't increase side effects. But the preemptive analgesia can't improve postoperative respiratory function.

Objective To study the effect of different iodine nutrition on thyroid function in adult and pregnant women. Methods A random sampling method was used to select healthy adult and pregnant woman from the communities of coastal city, coastal rural and inland rural areas in Liaoning Province.Drinking water, urine and salt samples were collected to measured urinary iodine (U I),salt iodine (SI) and water iodine content.Fasting venous blood was collected to measured thyroid stimulate hormone (TSH),freethyroxine (FT4),free triiodothyronine (FT3),thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) with the method of immunoassay chemical luminescence. Results A total of 150 salt samples were collected, means of SI was (30.1 ± 6.0)mg/kg.A total of 72 pregnant woman and 271 adults were investigated in iodized salt supplied regions.median UI of pregnant woman and adults were 176.3,203.2 μg/L.Iodine nutrition of pregnant women and coastal region adults was in an adequate level.Means of SI of inland adults(244.4 μg/L) was higher than appropriate level but not reached the excessive level.FT4 of the adults (11.7 pmol/L) and pregnant women (10.7 pmol/L) in inland regions were slightly higher than that of coastal city, rural adults(11.2,8.6 pmol/L) and pregnant women (10.9,9.6 pmol/L).TSH,FT3 and FT4 were not statistically different between regions (all P < 0.05).But UI,FT4 and FT3 levels of pregnant women(176.3 μg/L,9.5 pmol/L,4.3 pmol/L) were significantly lower than that of the adults(203.2 pμg/L,11.3 pmol/L,4.7 pmol/L,all P < 0.05).Hypothyroxinemia(4.4%,10/173) was higher than that of the inland adults (2.0%,2/98,P < 0.05).And all hypothyroxinemia were found in women of childbearing age.Hypothyroxinemia prevalence of pregnant women(16.7%,12/72) was higher than that of adults(4.4%,12/271,P < 0.05),The prevalence of hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and subclinical hyperthyroidism between the 3 regions adults and pregnant women were not statistically different (all P > 0.05).Conclusions Under appropriate supply conditions of iodized salt, iodine nutrition and thyroid function are closely related.Pregnant women and women of childbearing age are at risk of iodine deficiency. The thyroid function of these people should be strengthen detect.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(35):5640-5646
BACKGROUND:With the improvement of cervical posterior surgical techniques, lateral mass screw fixation technology has been widely used in the reconstruction surgery of the cervical spine for stability. However, currently, the finite element study on the lateral mass screw fixation reconstruction of the cervical spine is rare. OBJECTIVE:To establish a fine normal lower cervical spine (C3-C7 ) three-dimensional finite element model and a reconstructed finite element model with three-segment laminectomy with lateral mass screw fixation. Then, to do an initial biomechanical analysis of the lateral mass screw fixation reconstructed lower cervical finite element model. METHODS:We col ected a normal female volunteer aged 30 years old to do CT scan for the whole cervical spine. The Dicom data were obtained. Then, the CT scanning images were dealt with software Mimics 10.01, Geomagic Studio 12.0, Solidworks2012, HyperMesh 10.1 and Abaqus 6.12 software to build the normal lower cervical spine (C 3-C7 ) finite element model, the laminectomy finite element model and the rebuilt finite element model. At last, we analyzed the stress changes of reconstructed models under the state of flexion, extension, lateral bending and rotational motion. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The lower cervical spine finite element model contained 503 911 elements and 93 390 nodes with a fine realistic appearance. It successful y passed the validation. The surgical procedure was completed in the software, and the lateral mass screw fixation reconstruction finite element model has been established. Lateral mass screw fixation system provides good stability for the postoperative finite element model. The activity of rebuilt finite element model is much lower than the normal finite element model. In the extension condition, the stress of lateral mass screw fixation system becomes strong.
