Objective For the purpose of exploring the influence exerued by the amount of template DNA on the results of automatic fluerescent detection. Method For the purpose of buiding the optimal amount of template DNA amplified, we have analyzed different amount of template DNA (9947A) by 3100 Genetic Analyzer with the multiplexing Profiler Plus Kit. Results The optimal amounts of template DNA amplified were between 0.31ng and 2. 5ng by using 3100 Genetic Analyzer. Conclusion It will produce the incorrect analytic results if the amounts of template DNA were too high or too low.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the feasibility of total hip arthroplasty through a small anterolateral incision. Methods Total hip arthroplasty through a small anterolateral incision was performed in 53 cases (58 hip joints) from February 2003 to December 2003, including 5 cases of simultaneous replacement of bilateral joints, 6 cases of total hip revision, and 4 cases of hip joint rigidity. The surgical modification features were as follows: the patient was placed in recumbent position, with the involved buttock region slightly hanging over the side of the surgical bed and normally drooping; the involved leg was placed in 10? of adduction, which was helpful to the exposure of the greater trochanter; after the exposure of the neck of the femur and the greater trochanter, osteotomy was performed firstly, then the femoral head was dislocated and removed. Results The length of incision was 7~12 cm (mean, 8.5 cm). The operation time was 70~140 min (mean, 88 min). The blood loss was 250~660 ml (mean, 470 ml). No severe complications occurred. Postoperatively, weight-bearing and mobilization exercise were begun in 6~14 days. All the cases were followed for 4~40 weeks (mean, 28 weeks). The Harris hip scores showed excellent outcomes in 37 cases, good in 12, fair in 4, with a rate of excellent or good results of 92.5% (49/53). Conclusions Total hip arthroplasty through a small anterolateral incision is a feasible procedure that is characterized with minimal invasion, less blood loss and quick recovery. It can be applied in total hip replacement for artificial hip joint revision, hip joint rigidity, or congenital dislocation of hip joint.
3.Effect of Earlier Nasal Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Applying on Pulmonary Function in Neonates with Pulmonary Dyspnea
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To explore the influence of earlier nasal continuous positive airway pressure(NCPAP) applying on pulmonary function, and evaluate the clinical results of the early application of NCPAP.Methods Ninety newborn infants with pulmonary dynspnea treated with face mask from Jan.2000 to Nov.2002 were selected as control group. One hundred and ten patients treated with NCPAP from Dec.2002 to Dec.2006 were selected as treatment group.Treatment group applied KD-300 CPAP oxygen therapy equipment NCPAP delivering oxygen.Setting up and adjusting parameter: the beginning flow volume 6-8 L/min,the oxygen therapy bulk(FiO2)30%-50%,the NCPAP pressure was 0.195-0.488 kPa,parameter was adjusted according to the sickness and detecting the transcutancous oxygen saturation(TcSO2).If nasal cannulae Oxygen therapy couldn′t keep the TcSO2 in 85%-93%,the patients in control group were used face mask, small face mask, the oxygen flow vo-lume was 6 L/min,three holes, average FiO2 was 59%.The artery blood oxygen partial pressure [pa(O2)],artery blood carbon dioxide partial pressure [pa(CO2)],oxygenation index(OI),respiration rate(RR) of 2 groups after therapy 4,24 and 72 h were observed, also the difference of recovery rate between the 2 groups were analyzed. Results Compared with the control group,pa(O2) and OI after the application of NCPAP in treatment group were obviously improved(Pa

Objective To establish quality standard for prepared slices of salt-processed psoralea corylifolia. Methods Psoralen and isopsoraten in the crude psoralea corylifolia and its salt-processed products were determined by traditional identification,thin-layer identification and HPLC method.Water, ash, extract, pesticide residue and heavy metals were also detected. Results The average content of total content determination for psoralen and isopsoraten in more than 10 patches of crude and processed samples was not below 0.5% and 0.6% respectively. Conclusion HPLC method is simple and the result is reliable with good repeatability and can be used for the determination of the components in psoralea corylifolia. The quality control standards of the psoralea corylifolia is normative, systematic and the result is accurate.

AIM: To study the preventive and cure effects of the guizhi fuling pellet (GFP) on rat hysteromyoma modes. METHODS: Estradiol (0.2) mg per rat was administrated by subcutaneous injection once a day to establish rat hysteromyoma model. (0.8) (mg?kg~(-1)) adrenalin was administrated by subcutaneous injection to establish rat blood stasis model. RESULTS: GFP((1.08)-(4.32) (g?kg~(-1)))remarkably decreased uterus weight, restrained the excess proliferation of the smooth muscle of uterus, decreased the estradiol and progesterone in blood serum, restrained the platelet aggregation, and it significantly decreased the blood viscosity, prolonged blood coagulation time, kaolin partly theroboplastin time and prothrombin time of rats. CONCLUSION: GFP can restrain the formation of hysteromyoma, and the mechanism of GFP is related to decreasing the estrogen and progesterone, activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis.

Objective To discuss the effect and advantage of the navigation-assisted system in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) of the knees with anatomical abnormality. Methods The study involved five patients with anatomical abnormality of the knees who were treated with arthroplasty under the navigation-assisted system from December 2007 to October 2008. Meanwhile, five patients with normal anatomy of the knees treated with total knee arthroplasty without using the navigation-assisted system were used as control. The α, β, γand δ angles were measured based on the X-ray images and the active range of the knee joint was determined. Results No complication caused by navigation occurred. There was no significant difference in the α, β, γ and δ angles between the two groups, but the range of extremum in the navigation group was less than that of the control group. The mean postoperative active range of the knee joint in the navigation group ( 112.67°) was higher than that of the control group ( 106.98° ), while the preoperative active range of the knee joint of the navigation group [(70.87 ± 10.87)°] was significantly lower than that of the control group [( 105.08 ± 30.67)°]. Conclusions Compared with conventional methods, navigation-assisted TKA showas no obvious advantage in short-term outcome but has great advantages in improving the accuracy and the joint movement, especially for the knees with anatomical abnormality.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
Objective:[WT5BZ]The effect of different contents of zinc in feed on learning and memory function and brain somatostatin, zinc and calcium concentrations in rats were studied. [WT5HZ]Methods:[WT5BZ]The feeds contained 20, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 mg/kg zinc respectively. The learning and memory function of animals were determined by radioimmunoassay.Their zinc and calcium contents were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. [WT5HZ]Results:[WT5BZ]Feeds containing 100 and 200 mg/kg zinc were adequate for learning and memory function of rats, whereas other feeds resulted in poor learning and memory function, and depression in somatostatin concentration in hypothalamus, hippocampus and cerebrum cortex.Additionally, feeds containing lower than 100 mg/kg zinc decreased zinc concentrations in blood, hippocampus, cerebrum cortex and hypothalamus, and calcium concentration in cerebrum cortex. [WT5HZ]Conclusion:[WT5BZ]These results suggest that 100 200 mg/kg zinc in feed is adequate for maintaining learning and memory function in rats.
