1.Molecular quantification for quality control of Jinqian Baihuashe in Jinlong Capsule
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2023;58(9):2771-2776
The quality control of Chinese patent medicines containing animal-derived crude drugs is relatively difficult, because the effective constituents of most animal-derived crude drugs remain unknown. Even if there are relevant methods, they are usually qualitative, and quantitative indicators are either lacking or have poor specificity. This paper has proposed to use molecular quantitative technology to control the quality of Chinese patent medicines containing animal-derived crude drugs. In this study, a molecular quantitative method based on fluorescence quantitative PCR was established for the determination of Jinqian Baihua She in Jinlong Capsule. The method has good specificity, sensitivity, and repeatability. There is a good linear relationship between the content of DNA fragments and the CT (cycle threshold) value. The content of the

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2015;(10):1352-1355
Amphetamine-type stimulants ( ATS ) , a group of new-type synthetic drugs mainly in psychological dependence, are abused more and more severely in recent years. MicroRNAs ( MiRNAs ) are an important class of endogenous non-coding small RNAs that mediate posttranscriptional negatively regulation of gene expression by targeting specific mRNA sequences to in-hibit the translation of mRNAs or degrade the expression of mR-NAs. ATS can induce the changes in the expression of miRNAs in addiction-related brain regions which directly involve in the regulation of ATS-induced addictive behaviors. Therefore, to study the regulatory role of miRNAs in ATS-induced addiction has important implications for dependent mechanisms of new-type drugs and the discovery of the new targets of drug actions.

Objective:To investigate parents′ knowledge and attitude toward post-operative pain management in pediatric orthopedics and analyze influencing factors. Methods:A total of 170 parents of 6 to 16 years old children who underwent selective surgeries and were hospitalized because of limb fracture were conveniently selected in Children′s Hospital of Soochow University from April to December in 2019, They were investigated using the general data questionnaire, Pain Management Knowledge and Attitudes Questionnaire. Results:There were 167 parents completed questionnaires in our study. The mean score of parents′ knowledge, general attitude and negative attitude to pain medication were 15.0(3.00), 24.0(4.00) and 17.0(3.00) respectively. There were statistical differences between different educational levels of parents′ knowledge ( χ2 value was11.599, P=0.021), as well as different age of parent′s general attitude ( χ2 value was 7.053, P=0.029). Spearman-related results showed that parents′ cognition was positively correlated with general attitudes ( r value was 0.394, P<0.01). Conclusions:The majority of parents are at moderate to high level of knowledge, general attitude and negative attitude to pain medication. Pediatric nurses should pay more attention to parents′ knowledge deficit of and negative attitude toward pain assessment tools and pain-drugs to develop targeted educational intervention programs for promoting parental involvement.

Objective To investigate the allergization of milk high molecular weight proteins. Methods Thirty cas?es of patients with serum allergic to milk were selected. Their skin prick tests were positive. Results of serum specific IgE (sIgE) test were positive and≥1+. One case of healthy control with negative sIgE test and without history of allertgy, was in?cluded in this study. The serum samples were collected and frozen at-20℃. Sephadex G200 gel chromatography was used to obtain milk high molecular weight proteins. Western blot and ELISA methods were used to detect milk high molecular weight proteins and the activity of serum sIgE. Results Results of SDS-PAGE showed that high molecular weights proteins displayed by Sephadex G200 gel chromatography, mainly including three bands, the molecular weight of 67 ku, 80 ku and 160 ku. Western blot analysis showed that three kinds of high molecular weights proteins can react with milk allergy serum, and the most obvious appeared near the molecular weight 67 ku band. ELISA analysis showed that the positive response rate of high molecular weight proteins with milk allergic patient’s serum was slightly higher than that ofβ-lactoglobulin (46.7%and 43.3%, respectively). Conclusion The milk high molecular weight protein components can induce specific IgE antibod?ies, which have important sensitization in the process of milk allergy.

10.Failure of high-dose clopidogrel in recurrent stent thrombosis.
Singapore medical journal 2012;53(8):e166-8
This case report describes recurrent drug-eluting stent thrombosis with documented laboratory hyporesponsiveness to clopidogrel. The use of escalating doses of clopidogrel prevented subsequent episodes, but the patient developed gastrointestinal intolerance and diffuse cutaneous reaction, which resolved completely with prasugrel. Impressively, prasugrel 10 mg daily achieved an even lower vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein platelet reactivity index compared to clopidogrel 300 mg daily. Our case highlights the importance of alternative P2Y12 receptor antagonists for patients receiving drug-eluting stents.
