Objective:To explore the effect of microRNA-101 on apoptosis of condylar cartilage cells and the specific mechanism of molecular biology. Methods: IL-1 was used to stimulate and establish the model of apoptosis of condylar cartilage cells. The expression change of miR-101 in control group was compared with that in IL-1 stimulation group by qRT-PCR. Overexpression and down-regulation models of miR-101 were established by transfecting Mimics and Inhibitor and verified by qRT-PCR. Flow cytometry was used to detect the effect of miR-101 overexpression and down-regulation on apoptosis. Target gene of miR-101 was analyzed and calculated through bioinformatics. Western blot and Luciferase report assay were used to detect whether Sox9 could become the target gene of miR-101. Results:qRT-PCR results showed that IL-1 stimulation could cause the increase of miR-101 expression. After the transfection of rabbit condylar cartilage cells by Mimics and Inhibitor, qRT-PCR results confirmed the significant effect of miR-101 overexpression and down-regulation. It was confirmed by flow cytometry that overexpression of miR-101 could promote the apoptosis of condylar cartilage cells, and down-regulation of miR-101 could reduce the apoptosis. It was confirmed by Western blot and Luciferase report assay that Sox9 was the target gene of miR-101, and miR-101 inhibited SOX9 expression through complementary pairing with 3’UTR of Sox9 mRNA. Conclusions:miR-101 can promote the apoptosis of condylar cartilage cells through inhibiting the protein level of target gene SOX9.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2022;43(4):502-506
Objective:
To investigate the relationship among physical activity, sleep duration and screen time and overweight and obesity among children and adolescents in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, and to provide reference for children and adolescents in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region to maintain healthy physique.
Methods:
In November 2019, 4 262 primary and secondary school students in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region were surveyed on physical activity, sleep status and screen time according to the physical activity guidelines for children and adolescents, and the relationship between overweight and obesity was analyzed by Logistic regression.
Results:
The prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region was 22.03%. The positive rate of overweight was 12.01% and obesity was 10.02%. The prevalence of overweight and obesity in male students (26.09%) was higher than that in female students (17.88%), the difference was statistically significant ( χ 2=41.77, P < 0.01 ). The prevalence of overweight and obesity in urban children (24.09%) and Han children (22.74%) was significantly higher than that in rural areas (21.05%) and ethnic minorities (17.70%) ( χ 2=5.00, 7.63, P <0.05). The proportion of children who met physical activity, screen time and sleep duration guideline was 24.85%, 38.69% and 57.09%, respectively. A total of 21.68% of children and adolescents did not meet the guideline of physical activity, screen time and sleep duration, among which 42.80% and 28.77% met the guideline for one or two out of three behaviors, respectively. Only 6.76% of children and adolescents met the guideline of all three behaviors. Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of overweight and obesity was negatively correlated with sleep duration ( OR=0.72, 95%CI =0.52-0.98). The risk of overweight and obesity was lower in patients with 2 criteria than in those with less sleep duration and less screen time ( OR=0.57, 95%CI =0.36-0.87).
Conclusion
Percentage of sufficient physical activity among children and adolescents in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region is low, and ensuring sufficient sleep duration is helpful for overweight and obesity prevention. The impact of sleep duration and screen time on overweight and obesity in children and adolescents should be considered in childhood obesity prevention and control.

There were 33 males and 1 female, with the age of 18-56 years [(42.5±9.4)years]. All fractures were fresh. Seventeen patients were fixed by the extended lateral approach (extended approach group) and seventeen patients by L-shaped lateral approach (L-shaped approach group). Operation duration, intraoperative bleeding volume, length of hospital stay, one-stage wound healing rate and complication rate were observed. B?hler and Gissane angle were measured before operation, one week after operation and 12 months after operation. American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle-hindfoot scale was applied to evaluate function recovery. Results:There were no significant differences between groups in operative time and intraoperative bleeding volume ( P>0.05). There were significant differences between extended approach group and L-shaped approach group in length of hospital stay [(15.7±4.0)days vs.(22.4±9.6)days], one-stage wound healing rate [88%(15/17) vs. 47%(8/12)] and postoperative complication rate [12%(2/17) vs. 47%(8/17)] ( P<0.05). The B?hler and Gissane angles did not differ significantly between groups before operation and one week and 12 months after operation ( P>0.05). At postoperative 12 months, the B?hler and Gissane angles were improved from preoperative (8.2±6.0)°, (85.3±10.5)° to (23.9±6.1)° and (119.3±6.2)° respectively in extended approach group, and those from preoperative (9.4±3.9)°, (85.5±7.1)° to (25.8±3.7)° and (122.2±5.6)° respectively in L-shaped approach group (all P>0.05). At 12 months after operation, the AOFAS score was (86.9±7.5)points in extended approach group, with the excellent and good rate of 88%; and was (83.3±12.5)points in L-shaped approach group, with the excellent and good rate of 76% ( P>0.05). While the score of hindfoot joint activity in extended approach group was (5.8±0.7)points, significantly higher than (3.4±1.0)points in L-shaped approach group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:For Sanders III intraarticular calcaneal fractures, compared with L-shaped approach group, plate fixation via extended approach can promote fracture healing, shorten hospital stay, reduce incidence of complications and facilitate function recovery of subtalar joint.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2022;24(7):1119-1120,F3
Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a common chronic inflammatory oral mucosa disease, which is closely related to immune deficiency. Triamcinolone acetonide is considered to be the drug of choice for treatment of OLP due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and immunosuppressive effects. However, long-term application of triamcinolone acetonide can produce a variety of adverse reactions, and it prone to rebound after discontinuation, which greatly hinders the clinical diagnosis and treatment of OLP. This article reviews the adverse reactions of triamcinolone acetonide in the treatment of OLP and its coping strategies in order to provide some reference for the clinical treatment of OLP.
