Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(4):274-277
Forkhead box M1 (FOXM1),one member of the Forkhead family, plays an important role in tumor development, invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis by regulating the expression of tumor related genes. Moreover,The specific mechanism of FOXM1 is not fully understood in the development of tumors.Currently, the study of anticancer drugs targeting FOXM1 is in the initial stage.Exploring the mechanism of FOXM1 in carcinogenesis and the development of drugs targeting FOXM1 and its downstream signaling pathways have broad clinical application prospects.
3.Influence of Gestational Impaired Glucose Tolerance of Pregnancies on Umbilical Adiponectin Level of Newborns
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Objective To investigate the changes of umbilical adiponectin(APN) levels in newborn whose mothers with gestational impaired glucose tolerance (GIGT).Methods Eighteen neonates of GIGT pregnancies and 50 controls of normal glucose tolerance (NGT) pregnancies were studied.APN concentration was qualified in the umbilical vein serum with radioimmunoassay methods.Capillary blood glucose was measured at the first hour after delivery. Results Umbilical APN level in the GIGT group was significantly higher than that in NGT group [(61.06?16.85)mg/L vs(48.04?15.47)mg/L,t=2.38 P0.05).Conclusions Umbilical serum APN levels are elevated in newborns of GIGT mo-thers.This may be due to the dysregulation of serum APN levels associate with GIGT pregnancy.More attention shall be paid to the metabolic changes of GIGT mothers and their offspring.
4.Bladder tissue engineering scaffold:its application and vascularized strategies
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(47):7659-7665
BACKGROUND:Along with the increasing improvement of bladder tissue engineering research, the vascularization of tissue-engineered bladder after implantation becomes an issue of concern. OBJECTIVE: Combined with relevant literature in recent years, to review the choice, design and application of scaffold materials for bladder tissue engineering as wel as vascularized strategies folowing implantation. METHODS:The first author retrieved PubMed database and CNKI databases for articles relevant to biological scaffold materials in bladder tissue engineering and vascularization of tissue-engineered bladder published between January 2000 to September 2014 using the keywords of “tissue engineering; bladder; biomaterials/scaffolds; vascularization” in English and Chinese, respectively. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Recently, the biological scaffolds for bladder tissue engineering include two main categories: natural biomaterials and synthetic polymers. The major target of bladder tissue engineering remains to prepare the best cel-seeded scaffolds, to determine the best source of stem cels, to explore the best differentiation way of stem cels, and to promote angiogenesis and nerve regeneration of implanted scaffolds. Thereinto, promoting vascularization of scaffold materials and building complex tissues is most chalenging. At present, it is stil difficult to precisely control the directional proliferation, migration and differentiation of the attached endometrial cels. Although the vascular network is necessary for the nutrient supply and metabolic waste removal of cels or tissues, strategies to promote angiogenesis or vasculogenesis are stil limited.

Objective To assess the predictive value of coronary angiography TIMI myocardial perfusion grade (TMPG), electrocardiogram (ECG) single-lend ST segment resolution (STR), ECG Max-ST-segment deviation (MaxSTE) on judging myocardial reperfusion after primary angioplasty in the patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods Primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) was performed in 42 patients within 12 hours after AMI onset. Coronary angiography and ECG was done before and after angioplasty. TMPG, ECG single-leed STR and MaxSTE were used to assess myocardial reperfusion immediately after PCI. Myocardial perfusion scan was examined in all the patients using99mTc-MIBI SPECT on day 7±2. Results Compared with the level of myocardial perfusion demonstrated in myocardial scan of 99mTc-MIBI SPECT, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of TMPG, single-lead STR and MaxSTE was calculated. The sensitivity of TMPG, single-lead STR and MaxSTE was 93.75%, 87.50% and 81.25%, respectively, the specificity of them was 20.00%, 80.00% and 80.00%, respectively, and the accuracy was 76.19%, 85.71% and 80.95%, respectively. The findings in single-lead STR and MaxSTE matched well with the results of myocardial scan of 99mTc-MIBI SPECT. Conclusion In the patients suffering from AMI treated with PCI, ECG is an effective method to assess myocardial tissue reperfusion.

BACKGROUND: The survival rate of articular chondrocytes is low after traditional cryopreservation, and great differences existed in chondrocytes from surface layer and deep layer, which easily result in graft degeneration and lead to surgery failure.OBJECTIVE: To establish rabbit allograft models of graded frozen articular cartilages with holes made before cryopreservation and to observe the effect of holed cryopreservation on the rabbit articular cartilages.METHODS: Osteochondral plugs taken aseptically from 2 months old rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups: the experimental group, making holes(3 mm× 3 mm)in articular cartilages and graded freezing; non-hole graded freezing group,non-making holes and graded freezing; cryopreservation group: non-making holes and rapid freezing. The grafts were thawed and transplanted into the relevant articular cartilage defects of recipient rabbits. The grafts differences were observed by gross observation, histochemistry and immunohistochemistry staining.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The gross observation, histochemistry and immunohistochemistry staining of the experimental group were superior to the cryopreservation group.Though there were no significant differences between the non-hole graded freezing group and the experimental group, however, the experimental group enhanced the protective effect on cartilage tissue in the middle layer. The graded cryopreservation of articular cartilage gets an advantage over rapid cryopreservation. And the articular cartilage with holes could be preserved successfully in graded cryopreservation, which assures the survival and function of chondrocytes and slows down degrading process of the articular cartilage tissue after thawed and transplanted.
