Objective To investigate the effects of spine region of interest (ROI),tracking range, and real-time image contrast ratio on the positioning errors of cyberknife. Methods The LTT dynamic phantom was used to develop a spine tracking plan and perform treatment, and the target positioning system was used to preset the phantom and obtain real-time preset image and positioning error.Based on the realtime preset image, spine ROI,tracking range, and real-time image contrast ratio were changed to observe the changes in positioning error and related parameters.Pearson correlation analysis was performed. Results The change in tracking range did not change the positioning error in spine tracking, and tracking range was not correlated with positioning error (R =0,P =1).The changes in ROI and image contrast ratio did not affect the translation error, but affected the rotation error, especially the rotation error in left-right direction (r =0.533 and 0.693,P=0.002 and 0.026).The image contrast ratio had the most obvious effect, with an amplitude of variation up to 2.2°.Conclusions The change in tracking range does not affect the positioning errors in spinal tracking, but the changes in ROI and image contrast ratio can cause varying degrees of changes in positioning errors, which should be taken seriously in cyberknife treatment.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the contents changes of potential biomarkers of patients infected with influenza A (H1N1) virus of different Chinese medicine (CM) syndrome types.
METHODSEighty-two patients with influenza A (H1N1) virus were differentiated as three syndrome types, i. e., wind-heat invading weifen syndrome (51 cases), heat-toxicity attacking Fei syndrome (22 cases), and superficies tightened by wind cold syndrome (9 cases) according to Chinese medicine syndrome typing. According to patients' willingness and clinical conditions, they were treated by three therapeutic schedules, i. e., herbal therapy, symptomatic treatment, and antiviral therapy. The changes of potential biomarkers contents were detected in the serum of patients of various syndrome types before and after treatment. Results There was no statistical difference in the potential biomarkers contents correlated to symptoms of fever, inflammation and cough, such as PGG2, 20-COOH-LTB4, homocystein, and so on in the serum of patients of various syndrome types before treatment (P > 0.05). There was statistical difference in the potential biomarkers such as 20-OH-LTE4, LTA4, and linolenic acid, etc. between superficies tightened by wind cold syndrome and wind-heat invading weifen syndrome (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). There was statistical difference in the potential biomarkers such as PGF1alpha, prostanoic acid, and etc. between superficies tightened by wind cold syndrome and heat-toxicity attacking Fei syndrome (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Statistical difference existed in other indices other than dUTP; 5,10-methylene-THF and PGF1alpha in wind-heat invading weifen syndrome and superficies tightened by wind cold syndrome; prostanoic acid, homocysteine, and glucose in superficies tightened by wind cold syndrome when compared with before treatment in the same group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The changing tendency of potential biomarkers among different syndrome types was identical. Of them, the change of 6-keto-PGF1alpha content was the most obviously of all indices.
CONCLUSIONThere was difference in the contents of potential biomarkers of patients infected with influenza A (H1N1) virus of different syndrome types, and our study provided experimental data support for the objectiveness of CM syndrome differentiation from the perspective of metabolic substances.

Objective To measure and analyze Varian Clinac 21EX accelerator induced radioactivity, and to provide specific recommendations and ways of radiation protection for radiotherapy technicians. Methods To simulate the working environment of radiotherapy technician, and to detect induced radioactivity variation of Varian Clinac 21EX accelerator that induced by 15 MV X-rays under different conditions of beam field area, dose, time, distance and by high energy electron beam (12,16,20 MeV)at the different time. Results The induced radioactivity level was not influenced by different beam field area, and was increased with increasing dose (r =0.930,P < 0.05),decreased with time increase (r =-0.84,P < 0.05),decreased with distance increase(r =-0.975,P < 0.05).The induced radioactivity attenuation levels of the different doses at the same time are different, and have the common characteristic that the induced radioactivity attenuation rate is faster in the initial times. The induced radioactivity levels of high energy electron beams were significantly lower than those of high-energy X-rays.Conclusions During radiotherapy positioning,it is necessary to take measures to protect against the induced radioactivity when high-energy rays with energy greater than 10 MeV will be used. The radiotherapy technician should take the different time and energy interval steps for the different ray type and energy and dose in order to meet the radiation protection principle of optimization.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(1):235-239
Mechano growth factor (MGF) is an autocrine/paracrine factor and sensitive to mechanical stimulation. MGF can be highly expressed in various soft tissues under physical stimuli, biochemistry stimuli or in damaged situation. MGF may "compensate" the stress for tissue in the processing of tissue repair. MGF can effectively accelerate the repair of the soft tissue by promoting the proliferation, migration and differentiation of cells. This paper summarizes the MGF expressions in different soft tissues and their functions in soft tissue repair. The paper also discusses current problems and challenges in using MGF to repair the soft tissue.

Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases 2017;43(6):331-335
Objective To investigate the features of risk factors of minor stroke with CISS classification in Guangdong Province. Methods We retrospectively investigated the patients admitted within 3 days of the occurrence of a minor stroke, and were classified by CISS criteria as large artery atherosclerosis (LAA), cardiogenic stroke (CS), penetrating artery disease (PAD), other etiology (OE), undetermined etiology (UE). Results In this study, 303 pa-tients met the inclusion criteria of minor stroke. The highest percentage of the risk factors included hypertension (72.3%), hyperlipidemia (58.3%), and diabetes mellitus (39.9%). Among different subtypes, 41.9% were diagnosed with LAA, and 50.8% with PAD. Plasma triglyceride (TG)(1.765 ±1.18)mg/L vs.(2.19 ±1.84)mg/L,P=0.03], apolipoproteinsB (ApoB) [(0.95±0.29)mg/L vs.(1.11±0.46)mg/L,P=0.009]C-reactive protein (CRP) [(6.63±11.30) mg/L vs.(3.42 ±5.02)mg/L,P=0.042] and ApoB/ApoA1 ratio [(0.754 ±0.25)mg/L vs.(0.875 ±0.49)mg/L,P=0.019], differed significantly between group LAA and PAD. Conclusion Hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes mellitus are the major risk factors of minor stroke. The most common subtypes of the minor stroke patients in Guangdong Province are LAA and PAD, and detecting their TG, apoB, CRP level and apoB/apoA1 ratio might help subclassify minor stroke according to CISS.
