The paeonol proniosomes ointment and ordinary ointment were administered to rats. Physiological saline served as perfused solution. The perfusion rate was 5 mL x L(-1) and the microdialysis samples were collected every 20 min intervals. The paeonol concentration in perfused solution was determined by HPLC. Investigation of the pharmacokinetics of paeonol proniosomes ointment and ordinary ointment by the skin-blood synchronous microdialysis coupled with HPLC is reported in this study. The results show that the recovery was (54.80 +/- 1.50)% in vitro and (54.58 +/- 4.61)% in vivo. The results showed that paeonol proniosomes ointment significantly raised the drug concentrations in skin more than the paeonol ordinary ointment. The paeono proniosomes ointment has less drugs into the blood as the ordinary ointments in blood, but its blood drug concentrations were steadier. The paeonol proniosomes ointment may be developed into a new preparation.

Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2012;32(7):642-646
Objective To detect the Foxp3+ regulatory T cells (TrFoxp3+),Th17,TrFoxp3+/Th17 and related cell factors level in peripheral blood of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) patients, and to explore the relationships about TrFoxp3+,Th17 with occurrence and development of lung cancer and whether there are imbalance of TrFoxp3+/Th17.Methods The proportions of TrFoxp3+,Th17 cells and the level of related cell factors such as TGF-β,IL-17,IL-23 were determined respectively by flow cytometry and ELISA in peripheral blood of 18 healthy people and 26 patients with NSCLC.Results The proportions of TrFoxp3+,Th17 and TrFoxp3+/Th17 in peripheral blood with NSCLC were higher than healthy controls(P <0.05).The proportion of Th17 cells from NSCLC patients was positively correlated with that of TrFoxp3+(r =0.81,P<0.05).Comparing TrFoxp3+/Th17 among different TNM stages in NSCLC patients:TrFoxp3+/Th17 of in Ⅳ stage was obvious higher than that of in Ⅰ-Ⅱ stage,Ⅲ stage(P<0.05).The level of TGF-β,IL-17,IL-23 was higher in NSCLC patients than that in healthy controls, the ratio of TGF-β in the advanced stage group/healthy controls was higher in the early and middle group/healthy controls (P<0.05).Conclusion TrFoxp3+,Th17 and TrFoxp3+/Th17 in NSCLC patients were higher than healthy people, moreover TrFoxp3+/Th17 in advanced stage increased significantly. The results may imply that there are certain relationships between the imbalance of TrFoxp3+/Th17 and immunosuppression and occurrence and development of NSCLC as well as the regulation of their cytokines.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2009;32(31):18-20
Objective To observe the characteristics of electro-neurophysiology in diabetic patients with early peripheral neuropathy. Method The nerve conduction velocity ( NCV ) and quantitative sensory test (QST) were examined in 175 diabetic patients without clinical peripheral neuropathy and in 50 normal subjects, and their results were compared. Results In 175 diabetic patients, the abnormal ratio of NCV was 7% (13/175).While using QST,the abnormal ratio was 45% (79/175). There was significant difference between two methods (P< 0.01). Compared diabetic patients with normal subjects, there was no significant difference between motor conduction velocity and sensory conduction velocity (P > 0.05 ).While using QST, the threshold values of cold sensation, warm sensation, and thermalgesia showed significant difference between diabetic patients and normal subjects (P< 0.01). Conclusion QST is more sensitive than NCV in diagnosing diabetic peripheral neuropathy, which suggests that small nerve fibers are more likely to be damaged than large fibers in early stage.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(8):1038-44
In this study, we explored the feasibility of biotin-mediated modified polymeric micelles for pancreatic cancer targeted photodynamic therapy. Poly (ethylene glycol)-distearoyl phosphatidyl ethanolamine (mPEG2000-DSPE) served as the drug-loaded material, biotin-poly(ethylene glycol)-distearoyl phosphatidyl ethanolamine (Biotin-PEG3400-DSPE) as the functional material and the polymeric micelles were prepared by a thin-film hydration method. The targeting capability of micelles was investigated by cell uptake assay in vitro and fluorescence imaging in vivo and the amounts of Biotin-PEG-DSPE were optimized accordingly. Hypocrellin B (HB), a novel photosensitizer was then encapsulated in biotinylated polymeric micelles and the anti-tumor efficacy was evaluated systemically in vitro and in vivo. The results showed that micelles with 5 mol % Biotin-PEG-DSPE demonstrated the best targeting capability than those with 20 mol % or 0.5 mol % of corresponding materials. This formulation has a small particle size [mean diameter of (36.74 ± 2.16) nm] with a homogeneous distribution and high encapsulation efficiency (80.06 ± 0.19) %. The following pharmacodynamics assays showed that the biotinylated micelles significantly enhanced the cytotoxicity of HB against tumor cells in vitro and inhibited tumor growth in vivo, suggesting a promising potential of this formulation for treatment of pancreatic cancer, especially those poorly permeable, or insensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
