2.The kinds of oral rehydration salts solution and its application in treating acute diarrhea of children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(1):62-64
Since the oral rehydration salts solution(ORS) has been used to treat acute diarrhea of children, there are different kinds of ORS in order to satisfy the need of clinical work. They are the initial WHO-ORS, other substances-supplemented ORS and the reduced osmolarity ORS, each of which has their own efficiency and advantage.

China Pharmacy 2001;0(11):-
OBJECTIVE:To compare the physical chemistry properties of copying(A) and original(B) aluminium phosphate gel METHODS:We examined the character, antacid activity, isolating capacity against H+ ions and viscosity in different pH values of two products RESULTS:Product A was not better than product B in the Character, antacid activity, isolating capacity against H+ ions and viscosity; The antacid activity of two preparations not influenced obviously by the food with low concentration; Two preparations all had difference physical chemistry properties in batches CONCLUSION:Product B was better than A in comparison of the physical chemistry properties

Objective To evaluate the acute effects of different calcium concentration dialysate (1.25 mmol/L, 1.5 mmol/L, 1.75 mmol/L) on calcium balance and intact parathyroid hormone(iPTH) in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD) patients with normal serum tCa, and to provide scientific basis for individualized calcium concentration dialysate formula. Methods Dialysate with different calcium concentration (DCa1.25, DCa1.5, DCa1.75) was used in twelve stable MHD patients. Serum tCa, iCa(normalized to pH 7.4) and iPTH were assessed before and after each dialysis session with different calcium concentration dialysate. The iCa from fresh dialysate, spent dialysate at every 30 minutes interval and final total mixed spent dialysate were examined respectively. Phosphorus removal was also determined. Arterial blood pressure(BP) was measured every 30 minutes during hemodialysis session. Results With the DCa1.25, mean calcium loss was 5.03 mmol, but no significant changes of serum iCa and tCa between pre dialysis and post dialysis were found. Serum iPTH increased from (127.17?89.22)pg/ml to (281.92?244.84)pg/ml significantly (P

Objective: To investigate the state of calcium-phosphorus metabolism and serum intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) levels in end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients, to analyze clinical characters, and to provide scientific basis for clinical treatment. Methods: The data of 100 ESRD patients who received hemodialysis in Peking University First Hospital from January 2000 to July 2003 were analyzed retrospectively. Results: (1) The levels of serum total calcium were adjusted by serum albumin. There were 15 patients with hypocalcemia and 85 patients with normocalcemia or hypercalcemia. 31.8% of the latter took calcium-containing phosphate binders or/and vitamin D. In the 14 patients with hypocalcemia and 58 patients without low serum calcium who did not take calcium-containing phosphate binders or/and vitamin D, we found the levels of carbon dioxide combining power (CO 2CP) were lower in the group of hypocalcemia (P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(18):-
Objective To explore the effect of glutamine(Gln) on expression of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-?B) and heat shock protein 70(HSP70) in brain of young rats induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS).Methods Ten days old Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups by injection intraperitoneally different agonts,LPS group, normal saline control group(NS group) and Gln group(Gln 1.346 g/kg,1 hour before LPS).NF-?B and HSP70 distribution and expression in brain were deteted by immunohistochemistry. The levels of HSP70 in rats brain induced by LPS were detected by Western blot.SPSS 12.0 software was used. Results The nuclei of neuron in cerebral cortex in LPS group obviously cleared at 6 hours. The positive stain of nuclei in Gln group at 2 hours could not be seen. The stain of nuclei in cerebral cortex was weakened in LPS group at 6 hours by immunohistochemistry.HSP70 protein expression decreased with the measurement of Western blot, especially at 24 hours.HSP70 expression in LPS group was similar as that in NS group. The stain of nuclei in neuron in Gln group at 2 hours increased. It also showed the amount of protein expression increased in Western blot in group Gln at 2,6,12,24 hours(Pa

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the correlation of serum sFasL level with carotid arterial intima- media thickness(IMT) and some known markers of inflammation, nutritional status in uremic patients with cardiovascular disease(CVD). Methods 134 uremic patients on hemodialysis were divided into two groups, CVD group (n=103) and non-CVD group (n=31). The serum level of sFasL, C-reactive protein (CRP), IL-6, TNF-? and albumin were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). The expression of Fas and FasL in radial arterial endothelial cells were observed both by immuohistochemical stain and by reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The Carotid arterial IMTs were measured by Color doppler ultrasonography. Results Compared with the non-CVD group, CVD group showed significantly increased serum sFasL, CRP, IL-6, and TNF-?, and decreased serum albumin(P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
AIM To investigate antiplatelet agents induced neuroprotection, which is blood perfusion independent, and its gender difference. METHODS Population spike amplitude (PSA) was measured during hypoxia and posthypoxic recovery in blood fsee hippocampal slices from untreated control mice and from in vivo pretreated mice with a single intraperitoneal injection of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), ticlopidine or clopidogrel. Extracellular recordings and NADH fluorescence spectroscopy were used to determine PSA and NADH fluorescence upon hypoxia in CA1 region in hippocampal slices from ASA treated male and female mice. RESULTS Posthypoxic recovery of PSA was 25 9%?11 6% in control slices. In slices pretreated with ASA, ticlopidine and clopidogrel PSA recovered to 74 7%?35 7% ( P

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2013;19(9):874-877
Objective To investigate the intelligence level and characters in children with cerebral palsy of 4~6 years old, and the factors related with their intelligence. Methods 215 cerebral palsy children of 4~6 years old were assessed with Wechsler Intelligence Scale for children,Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS). Results 210 children finished their intelligence test, and 113 presented mental retardation. The intelligence level was higher in the children with spastic diaplegia, hemiplegia and dyskinetic type than those with quadriplegia and ataxia type. The difference was significant between VIQ and PIQ in the spastic diplegia (P<0.05). The mental retardation was more frequent in the children with GMFCS Ⅳ~Ⅴ, or with epilepsy or microcephaly than those with GMFCS Ⅰ~Ⅲ or without the complications (P<0.05). Conclusion The incidence of mental retardation in children with cerebral palsy was related with the neurotypes, motor function and complications.
