1.The Effects of Antagonist of Angiotensin II Receptors on Rat Acute Pancreatitis
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore the effects of antagonist of angiotensin II(Ang II) receptors on acute pancreatitis(AP) of rats. Methods The Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into normal group, AP group, AP+lower dose of valsartan(5mg/kg) group , AP+higher dose of valsartan(8mg/kg) group, lower dose of valsartan group and higher dose of valsartan group, and each group containing 6 animals. AP animal models were induced by intraperitoneal injection of cerulein. Valsartan was given by intragastric administration. The histopathological changes of pancreas were observed and scored, and the pancreatic edema was evaluated. The levels of plasma amylase (AMY) and pancreatic myeloperoxidase (MPO) were measured. Results Compared with AP group, the pathologic lesions of pancreas and pancreatic edema decreased in the group AP+ valsartan, and the levels of plasma AMY and MPO also reduced. Conclusion Pretreatment with antagonist of angiotensin II receptors in rat acute pancreatitis can markedly reduce pancreatic injury and inflammation.

International Eye Science 2014;(9):1697-1698
To investigate the relationship between diabetic macular edema (DME) and serum E-selectin level.
●METHODS: Totally 90 patients with diabetic retinopathy in our hospital from October 2009 to October 2013 were observed. Retrospective analysis of the correlation between macular edema degree and serum soluble E -selectin ( sE - sel ). Ninety patients with diabetic retinopathy were divided into two groups: DME group and non - DME group. The level of sE - sel and microalbuminuria (MA) of two groups were determined and compared.
●RESULTS: There was significant difference in MA, sE-sel levels of groups ( P < 0. 05). The value of diabetic retinopathy patients with sE - sel and MA, FBG were positively correlated ( r = 0. 728, P < 0. 05; r = 0. 651, P <0. 05).
●CONCLUSlON: Elevated levels of sE-sel is a risk factor for diabetic macular edema, and sE-sel was involved in the pathogenesis of diabetic microangiopathy.

Metastasis to liver is the most happened distant metastasis and is the leading cause of death in patients with colorectal cancer.Complete surgical resection of liver metastases from colorectal cancer is major curative method for resectable metasrases.Other methods such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hepatic ar-tery intervention, radiotherapy, radiofrequenly ablation or cryo-ablation should be considered. Both systemic and local treatment are.important for liver metastasis from colorectal cancer.

Objective To study the difference of IGF-1,Bcl-2,survivin and Ki-67 protein expression in reactive and neoplastic astrocytes and the significance of them. Methods Immunohistochemistry and tissue microarray techniques were used to determinate the expression of IGF-1,Bcl-2,survivin and Ki-67 protein in normal brain tissues, astrocytes proliferation,low-grade astrocytomas, and high-grade astrocytomas. Results The expression of IGF-1,Bcl-2,survivin and Ki-67 protein were all negative in control group. The positive expression rates of them in reactive astrocytes were 28.9%, 26.7%, 26.7% and 22.2%,respectvely; and in low-grade astrocytomas were 63.8%, 50.0%, 53.2%,70.2%; in high-grade astrocytomas were 88.9%, 79.2%, 88.1%,95.2%.IGF-1,Bcl-2,survivin and Ki-67 all had significant difference among the three experimental groups(P

AIM:To establish the method for determining oridonin and rosemarinic acid in Donglingcao Tablets(Rabdosia rubescens(Hemsl.) Hara). METHODS:Oridonin and rosemarinic acid were determined by HPLC simultaneously with changing ultraviolet-visible wavelength.Chromatographic condition was composed of ODS-C_(18) column,methanol-03.% phosphoric acid (40∶60),UV detection wavelength of oridonin at 238 nm and of rosemarinic acid at 329 nm. RESULTS:The average recoveries were 97.8% and 96.7% and related standard deviations(RSD) were 1.9% and 2.3%. CONCLUSION:This method can be used to determine simultaneousely oridonin and rosemarinic acid in Donglingcao Tablets.

Objective Orthogonal design was employed to determine the best techniques in processing Carbonized Imperata Cylindrical. Methods UV was used to detect the absorption force and tannis in Carbonized Imperata Cylindrica by different kinds of processing methods. Results The best technique is to bark the drug for 4 minutes at 270 ℃. Conclusion The optimized processing technique was proved to be reasonable by the repeated test.

Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2017;26(7):496-499
Objective To investigate the clinicopathological features, immunophenotype, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of oncocytic mucoepidermoid carcinoma(OMEC).Methods A case of OMEC was studied for clinicopathological and immunohistochemical features, the available literature on this subject was reviewed as well. Results Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a well-defined mass, measured 1 cm×1 cm,within the right submandibular gland. The patient was underwent the total mass and the right submandibular gland resections. On macroscopic examination, the well-defined tumor was gray-yellowish on cut surface with hard consistence and was sized 1 cm×1 cm×0.8 cm.The uncapsulated tumor was mainly solid with focal microcysts on cut surface.Microscopically, the tumor consisted of nests, sheets, and occasional microcysts of oncocytic cells.Focally, intermediate cells, mucilage cell and epidermoid cell were also present.Immunohistochemically, the oncocytic cells were diffusely and intensely positive for CK(AE1/AE3),EMA and P63.By histochemical staining, the oncocytic cells were positive for PTAH staining, and mucilage cell were positive for PAS staining. Conclusion The OMEC is an exceedingly rare variant of mucoepidermoid carcinoma with a good prognosis and should be differentiated from oncocytoma, oncocytic carcinoma,Warthin's tumor with mucinous metaplasia, pleomorphic adenoma, oncocytic myoepithelioma and myoepithelial carcinoma,et al.
