2.Effects of mild hypothermia on proNGF apoptosis pro-signal following cerebral ischemia and reperfusion
Chinese Journal of Trauma 2011;27(3):201-205
Objective To observe the expressional changes of pro nerve growth factor(proNGF)apoptosis pro-signal factors after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion and discuss the protective effect of mild hypothermia on the brain injury. Methods The randomly chosen female SD rats weighing(220±10)g were divided into normal control group(Group A),cerebral isehemia and reperfusion group (Group B)and mild hypothermia group(Group C).Groups B and C were divided into 3,6 and 9 hours subgroups(eight rats per group).TUNEL methods was used to detect the apoptotic cells in the cortex after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion and treatment with mild hypothermia. The reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was used to detect the expression changes of proNGF,Sortilin and P75gene in the cortex. Results (1)The apoptotic cells were increased with time in the Group B(P<0.05)and were more than those in the Group C in the same time point(P<0.05).(2)There found expression of all factors at all time points in three groups, which was increased with time(P<0.05).(3)The content of every factor at each time point in the Group C was less than that in the Group B(P<0.05). Conclusions (1)Mild hypothermia can decrease the apoptosis after ischemia and reperfusion injury.(2)The cell apoptosis induced by proNGF plays a very important role in the COUrse of cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury.(3)Mild hypothermia can decrease the expression of apoptosis pro-signal to alleviate the cell apoptosis and protect the brain from ischemia and reperfusion.
4.Pay more attentions to the complexity of the resident immune cells in ocular surface
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(10):865-869
Ocular surface is a special interface between the inner ocular tissue and the external environment. It provides effective physical and biological barriers to prevent environmentally harmful substances and pathogenic microbes invading into the eye. This protection is afforded by unique local anatomy and cellular components, especially the resident immune cells such as innate lymphoid cells (ILCs), macrophages, mast cells, Langerhans cells(LCs) and γδ T cells.Recent studies reinforce the importance of LCs and mast cells as inducers of immune tolerance. Most adult tissue macrophage populations are seeded before birth and maintained in the steady state independently of monocytes from blood. However, under inflammatory condition, some transient monocytes enter into tissue and become macrophage compartments.Monocytes are subdivided into two main phenotypically and functionally distinct subsets. The first main subset is dedicated to the surveillance of endothelial integrity. The second main subset compasses classical monocyte functions such as rapid migration to the sites of injury and the replenishment of peripheral dendritic cells and macrophage compartments. In addition, newly identified ILCs are founded in the ocular surface tissues. These cell groups defens the different stimulus from external environment by producing different cytokines and growth factors.Accumulating data highlight some key roles of tissue-resident immune cells in ocular surface homeostasis and pathology.
5.Determination of Magnesium in Drinking Water by Flame Atomic Emission Spectrometry
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
ve To explore a method for determination of magnesium in drinking water by air-acetylene flame atomic emission spectrometry. Methods The content of magnesium in drinking water was directly determined by air-acetylene flame atomic emission spectrometry using hydrochloric acid as media and lanthanum solution as masking agent. Results The concentrations of magnesium in drinking water were possitively correlated with the intensities of flame atomic emission spectrum in the range of 5~200?g/ml with a regression equation of A = 0.000 87C+0.0019(r=0.992 2). The detection limit was 5.0?g/ml. The recovery rates of a standard material added-water samples were 101.8% ~ 107.5% . The relative standard deviation was not more than 3.3% . The com-monly coexisting ions with a certain concentrations, such as K, Na, Ca, Zn, Fe, Mn, Cd,Pb and Cu, didn't interfere the determination of magnesium in water sample. Conclusion This method could be applied to determination of magne-sium in drinking water.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(01):-
Objective To evaluate the effects of restraint stress on behaviors of mice with focal cerebral ischemia. Methods Male mice were first subjected to left middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion. Repeated restraint stress (2 hours/day for 2 weeks) was given from 1 week after surgery. At the end of stress scheme, sucrose solution consumption test, open-field test and forced swimming test were performed. Results Spontaneous locomotor activity and coordination test were decreased to the lowest level on the 1st day after MCAO compared with the baseline values before surgery (P
7.Nonlinear inverse modeling of sensor based on back-propagation fuzzy logical system
Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2007;19(1):14-17
Objective To correct the nonlinear error of sensor output, a new approach to sensor inverse modeling based on Back-Propagation Fuzzy Logical System (BP FS) is presented. Methods The BP FS is a computationally efficient nonlinear universal approximator, which is capable of implementing complex nonlinear mapping from its input pattern space to the output with fast convergence speed. Results The neuro-fuzzy hybrid system, i.e. BP FS, is then applied to construct nonlinear inverse model of pressure sensor. The experimental results show that the proposed inverse modeling method automatically compensates the associated nonlinear error in pressure estimation, and thus the performance of pressure sensor is significantly improved. Conclusion The proposed method can be widely used in nonlinearity correction of various kinds of sensors to compensate the effects of nonlinearity and temperature on sensor output.
8.Changes of tear film after trabeculectomy in glaucoma
International Eye Science 2015;(7):1201-1203
AlM: To learn the changes of the tear film before and after the trabeculectomy of glaucoma and explore the incidence of dry eye and the prevention and control measures.METHODS:The 36 patients (60 eyes) of glaucoma were examined in detail before 3d of trabeculectomy and after the surgery at 3, 7, 14 and 30d. The examinations include lower eyelid central river of tears, break-up time ( BUT) , Schirmer I test ( S I t ) and staining scores of corneal fluorescein under slit lamp microscope.RESULTS:The tear meniscus height of central lower eyelid was increased and the tear film BUT was shortened at the same time, the scores of S I t was reduced and corneal fluorescein staining score was increased at postoperative 3 and 7d compared with that of preoperation. The tear meniscus height of central lower eyelid, tear film BUT and Slt and score of corneal fluorescein staining began to recover in most of the affected eyes after surgery 14d. At 30d after surgery, 22%of patients tear film failed to recover to the preoperative level; dry eye occured in 18% preoperative eyes with normal tear film.CONCLUSlON:Trabeculectomy of glaucoma may affect the stability of the tear film and some patients showeing obvious dry eye and should be intervened and treatmented timely.

Objective To evaluate clinical application of transthoraeic real time three-dimensional echocardiography(RT-3DE) on selecting oecluder of the atrial septal defect(ASD). Methods ASD size and its rim of thirty patients with ASD were measured by transthoracic two-dimensional echoeardiography(2DE) on various views before occlusion. ASD was reconstructed by transthoracic RT-3DE and color RT-3DE. The images were studied in multiple orientations and cross sections, including the morphology, area, longest diameter, and cycloidal dimension of substitution (CDS) was calculated. The waist size of occluder was measured after releasing oecluder. Results Among 30 eases of ASD, there were 22 cases(73.3 %) with non-round like defects. In various morphous of ASD,the waist morphology of occluder still was round-like after releasing oeeluder. There was no significant difference between waist area of occluder and measured area of ASD by RT-3DE and color RT-3DE. All ASD diameters measured by 2DE were smaller than the dimension of waist after releasing, ASD longest diameters measured by RT-3DE and color RT-3DE were larger than the dimension of waist after releasing, but were no significant differences with CDS. Significant correlation was existed between the CDS of ASD measured by RT-3DE and the size of selected occluder (Y = 0.29 + 1.132 X , r = 0.93, P<0.0001), and the waist size of released occluder(Y = - 0.160 + 1.063 X , r = 0.98, P 0.0001). Oceluder was firmly fixed without falling off in all patients. Conclusions Transthoracic RT-3DE has certain value on selection of ASD occluder.

The study of quality control of Chinese medicine has always been the hot and the difficulty spot of the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), which is also one of the key problems restricting the modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine. Multivariate statistical analysis is an analytical method which is suitable for the analysis of characteristics of TCM. It has been used widely in the study of quality control of TCM. Multivariate Statistical analysis was used for multivariate indicators and variables that appeared in the study of quality control and had certain correlation between each other, to find out the hidden law or the relationship between the data can be found,.which could apply to serve the decision-making and realize the effective quality evaluation of TCM. In this paper, the application of multivariate statistical analysis in the quality control of Chinese medicine was summarized, which could provided the basis for its further study.
