ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic efficacy ofacupoint thread embedding in treating hyperlipidemia, and to explore a treatment method with valid efficacy and few side effects.MethodSixty patients with hyperlipidemia were randomized into a thread embedding group and a medication group, 30 cases ineach group. The thread embedding group was intervened by thread embedding at Zhongwan (CV12), Tianshu (ST25), Fenglong (ST40), and Zusanli (ST36), once a week; the medication group was by taking Xue Zhi Kang capsules, two capsules each time, twice a day. The two groups both received treatment for 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy, total cholesterol (Chol), and triglyceride levels were observed before and after treatment.ResultThe total effective rate was 86.7% in the thread embedding group versus 83.3% in the medication group, and the difference was statistically insignificant (P>0.05). After 4-week treatment, the transaminase level increased in 3.3% of the patients in the medication group, while no one showed an increased transaminase level in the thread embedding group. After 8-week treatment, the observed indexes were increased in the medication group, while those in the thread embedding group were still stable.ConclusionAcupoint thread embedding is effective in treating hyperlipidemia, and the effect is durable with few side effects.

[Summary] A total of 108 cases of endoscopic thyroidectomy via thoracic approach were conducted in our department between January 2012 and January 2015.The comfortable nursing was applied during the operation.The patients’ body position was adjusted properly according to requirements of the operation at different periods of pre-operation, intra-operation and post operation.No complications due to nursing mistakes or improper position occurred in the 108 patients. Follow-up checkups on the second postoperative day found 2 patients with vomiting.According to the Wong-Banker Faces Pain Scale to evaluate the head and back pain, there were 46 cases of 0 point, 51 cases of 1 point, 11 cases of 2 points.We got the conclusion that the application of comfortable nursing for proper position of patient not only reflects the nursing principle of Patients First, but also improves the entire quality of nursing services.

Objective To study the clinic features and prognosis of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA)-associated iridocyclitis.Methods Ten cases of JRA -associated iridocyclitis choosed from 107 cases with JRA were reviewed and analysed.Results Polyarticular( n =9) and pauciarticular( n =1) were observed among JRA -associated iridocyclitis.Four were acute cases and all were recovered.Secondary glaucoma ( n =1) and ablepsia( n =1) were find in the chronic cases of 6,respectively.Conclusions Iridocyclitis is a common complication of JRA. Objective To compare the specificity and sensitivity of antibodies against SSA and SSB,anti-M3 receptor polypeptide antibodies,anti-α-fodrin(IgG)antibodies in primary SjSgren's syndrome (pSS).Methods One hundred and ten pSS patients(mean age was 49.2±14.8.mean disease duration was 5.6±4.6),80 systemic lupus erythmatosis(SLE)patients(mean age was 25.5 4-4.6,mean disease duration was 2.5±1.2)and 80 rheumatoid arthritis(RA)patients(mean age was 44.6±3.5.mean disease duration was 4.2±1.1)were studied.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure these antibodies.Results The seropositive rates of anti-SSA,anti-SSB antibodies,anti-M3 receptor polypeptide antibodies and anti-α-fodrin(IgG)antibodies were 45.5%,30.9%,78.2%and 77.3%,respectivelv in pSS.They were much higher than those in RA and SLE patients(P<0.05).Specificities of SSA、SSB antibodies,anti-M3 receptor antibodies and anti-α-fodrin IgG were 83.8%,97.7%.92.0%and 90.O% respectively.With the combination of these antibodies in the diagnosis of pSS.the Sellsitivity can be increased at least to 88.2%and the specificity was not decreased significantly.Conclusion Combination of these antibodies can significantly improve the sensitivity of these antibodies in the diagnosis of pSS.Anti-SSA and SSB antibodies,anti-M3 receptor antibodies and anti-α-fodrin(IgG)antibodies are specific antibodies for the diagnosis of pSS.

Objective To elucidate the relationship between liver mitochondria calcium content and respi- ratory function in obstructive jaundice and biliary drainage.Methods The model of obstructive jaundice and bil- iary drainage was produced in dogs by common bile duct ligation and choledochoduodenostomy.The liver mitochon- dria were isolated and the calcium content and respiratory control rate were monitored.Results Mitochondria res- piratory control rate and calcium content significantly decreased and elevated respectively after bile duct ligation and there were varying degrees of recovery after biliary drainage,and the degree of recovery was evidently correlated with the duration of obstruction before drainage and the time after drainage.There was a strong negative correlation between the mitochondria calcium content and change of respiratory function.Conclusion The mitochondria cal- cium overload may be one of important factors for suppressed mitochondrial respiration in obstructive jaundice and early relief of the obstruction could favour the recovery of damaged liver mitochondria.
