Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;(11):1298-1303
Objective To investigate the prevalence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in the army old male hypertensive patients in Beijing. Methods From October 2011 to April 2014, old male patients in the geriatric department of the General Hospital of Chi-nese People's Liberation Army were enrolled and categorized into 3 groups: normotensive, well-controlled hypertensive and poorly-con-trolled hypertensive groups. The prevalence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases was recorded and binary logistic regression was used to analyze the differences among the groups. Results 719 old male patients were enrolled, 228 in normotensive group, 389 in well-con-trolled hypertensive group and 102 in poorly-controlled hypertensive group. Compared to normotensive group, there was more incidence of angina (OR=2.547, P<0.001), myocardial infarction (OR=2.493, P=0.003), cerebral thrombosis (OR=3.438, P=0.003) and peripheral artery atherosclerotic disease (OR=1.766, P=0.026) in the well-controlled hypertensive group, and it was more of angina (OR=4.123, P<0.001), la-cunar infarction (OR=2.810, P=0.020), cerebral thrombosis (OR=3.484, P=0.001) and peripheral artery atherosclerotic disease (OR=3.773, P<0.001) in the poorly-controlled hypertensive group. There was not significant difference of prevalence of cerebral hemorrhage (0.9%, 1%and 1%, respectively). Conclusion In the army old male hypertensive patients in Beijing, control rate of blood pressure was higher than com-mon population, but the prevalence of ischemic diseases was still higher than in the normotensive patients. Anti-hypertension and control of other risk factors could reduce the mobidity of cerebral haemorrahge.

Objective To explore clinical characteristics and the perinatal effects of multiple systems in pre-pregnancy obesity patients with early-onset preeclampsia. Methods A total of 111 cases with early-onset preeclampsia in our Inpatient Obstetric Department were reviewed in this study. According to pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI), patients were divided into normal before pregnancy group (BMI<28 kg/m2, n=56) and obese before pregnancy group (BMI≥28 kg/m2, n=55) . The body weight, BMI, weight gain during pregnancy, risk factors, clinical features, and clinical features of neonatal index were compared between two groups. The correlation between maternal and neonatal indexes and glucose and lipid indexes were compared. Results Obese before pregnancy was more prone to blood concentration and disorders of lipid metabolism. The serum levels of lipid, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), hematocrit, platelet and fibrinogen were significantly higher in obese before pregnancy group than than those of normal group. The induced neonatal acidosis and other organ damage, newborn Apgar score, pH, glucose were significantly lower in obese before pregnancy group than those of normal group. The residual alkali (BE), lactic acid (LAC), creatine kinase (CK) and creatine kinase (CKMB) were higher in obese before pregnancy group than those of normal before pregnancy group. Correlation analysis showed that maternal low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), total cholesterol (TC), three acyl glycerol (TG) and HbA 1c were negatively correlated with neonatal Apgar score and pH, and which were positively correlated with neonatal LAC and CKMB. Both differences were significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion The dyslipidaemia in early onset preeclampsia in obesity patients before pregnancy is closely related with maternal and perinatal outcomes.

ObjectiveTo study the effects and mechanism of survivin gene on invasion of prostate cancer cell.MethodsAfter PC-3 prostate cancer cell lines were transfected by survivin small interfering RNA (siRNA), the mRNA and protein of survivin and matrix metalloproteinase-2 and-9 were determined by real time RT-PCR and western blot assay, respectively. The anchorage-independent growth was examined by clon formation in soft agar, and invasion ability was evaluated by boyden chamber model. The invasion ability of cancer cells in vivo was determined by nude mice model. ResultsThe results from clon formation in soft agar showed that the colonies numbers of group of 3.125,6.250 and 12.500 nmol/L of siRNA were 17.8±1.6,13.6±1.5 and 8.8±1.4, and the control group was 22.6±1.8(P<0.05). The results from boyden chamber model exhibited that the cells numbers crossing filter membrane in group of 3.125,6.25 and 12.5 nmol/L of siRNA were 33.6±2.1,19.5±1.9,8.1±1.83, and the control group was 49.4±2.3(all P<0.05). The results in vivo showed that cancer cells of control groups invaded into striped muscle and blood vessel, and there were no these phenomenons in transferred group with survivin siRNA. Survivin siRNA could reduce expression level of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in prostate cancer cells(P<0. 01).Conclusions Survivin-directed RNA interference can inhibit invasion of human prostate cancer cell through down-regualting MMP-2,-9 genes.

Objective To evaluate the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment procedures for adrenal pheochromocytoma and adrenal ganglioneucoma. Methods Thirty-two cases of adrenal pheochromocytoma and 14 cases of adrenal ganglioneucoma surgical treated between 1999—2005 were analysed, The average of ganglioneucoma was 39 years old (16~63). tumor size ranged from 2.5 cm to 15 cm. The mean age of pheochromocytoma was 42 years old (19~74), tumor size ranged from 2cm to 16 cm. Tumor located in the adrenal area. All cases accepted surgical operation and were confirmed by pathology. Results Most cases of adrenal ganglioneucoma did not have any symptom but were founded incidentally. Differentials were obviously between ganglioneucoma and pheochromocytoma. Conclusion Both adrenal ganglioneucoma and pheochromocytoma are rare diseases.CT、urinary CA and 131I-MIBG are good methods for diagnosis. The final diagnosis depends on the pathology, surgical resection of tumor is a preferred choice.
