China Medical Equipment 2014;(4):68-70
Neovascularization is the basis of tumor growth and metastasis. Angiogenesis depends mainly on the regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor and angiogenesis inhibiting factor. The vascular endothelial growth factor and its receptor are the most important and are studied most. The expression of them increased significantly in gastric cancer tissue and serum.. They promote angiogenesis of tumor. They are closely related to the prognosis of patient. The vascular endothelial growth factor and its receptor in the gastric cancer are reviewed in this article.

Chinese Journal of Microsurgery 2001;24(2):130-132
Objective To study the effects of direct-current field stimulation on spinal cord motor neurons apoptosis after sciatic nerves transection. Methods In experimental group direct-current stimula tors were put into the relevant spinal cord segments and electric stimulation were given instantly after sciatic nervet ransection. In control group, the same st I mulator were put inside without courrent output. The spinal cord specimens were taken 1,4,7,14,28 days after operation. The morphology of the spinal cord motor neurons was observed with the methods of HE staining and light microscope. The spinal cord motor neurons were counted and analyzed with three-dimensional quantit ative method. The TUNEL staining of the specimens was performed simultaneously and the positive-stain spinal cord motor ne u rons were counted. Results 4,7,1 4 and 28 days af ter operation, the number of spinal cord motor neurons and the size of the neurons increased obviously with compare to the control group. The TUNEL staining positive spinalcord motor neurons decreased sign I ficantly according to the control group. Conclusion Direct-current stimu lation may have intervention effects on spinal cord neuron apoptosis after sciatic nerve transection.
5.Early nutritional programming and later obesity
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(1):52-55
Epidemiological studies indicate that obesity is associated with metabolic disorders, such as type 2 diabetes hyperlipidemia and hypertension. Early nutrition, especially during pregnancy and lactation can lead to the permanent programming of system by some adaptive effects in physiological, cellular and molecular levels. These adaptive effects persistently changed the metabolic throughout life, hence resulted in increased risk of obesity and metabolic related disease. This review focuses upon the influence of nutrition in early life on adulthood obesity and researches on their pathophysiological mechanism .
6.Changes of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 in serum and marrow stroma cell supernatant of patients with relapsed acute leukemia
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2010;14(6):1101-1104
BACKGROUND: Relapse of acute leukemia is possibly correlated with abnormal expression of cellular adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1).OBJECTIVE: To observe the level of VCAM-1 in serum and bone marrow stromal cell (MSC) supernatant of patients with relapsed acute leukemia. METHODS: Samples of serum and MSC supernatant were collected from 17 patients with remission-phase and relapse-phase acute leukemia hospitalized in the Department of Hematology, the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between June 2006 and March 2008. The levels of VCAM-1 were measured with ELISA in remission and relapse phases.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared with the remission phase, the VCAM-1 level of serum was significantly increased in the relapse phase (P < 0.05). At 1 and 3 weeks after in vitro culture, the VCAM-1 level in the MSC supernatant was not changed (P > 0.05), but it was significantly increased on the fourth week (P < 0.05). The results demonstrated that VCAM-1 expression of serum and MSC supernatant in the relapse phase was greater than that in the remission phase, suggesting that abnormal expression of VCAM-1 was possibly correlated with relapse of acute leukemia.
7.Preparation and quality evaluation of clonazepam orally disintegrating tablets
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(38):7543-7546
OBJECTIVE: To prepare clonazepam oral disintegrating tablets and to evaluate its quality. METHODS: Gelatian and aspartame were used as tastes masking. Microcrystalline celluose, low substituted hydroxypropylcellulose and polyvininylpolyrrolidone were used as disintegrants. Clonazepam orally disintegrating tablets were prepared by wet granules. The in vitro and in vivo disintegration time, the relationship between hardness and disintegration time and the relationship between the usage of magnesium stearate and disintegration time were investigated, while taste and dissolution rate were also evaluated. RESULTS: When the gelatian/aspartame/poloxamer ratio was 30:0.5:1, the tablets had good oral feel and the uppermost dissolution rate. The dissolution rate of clonazepam oral disintegrating tablets which was evaluated by the method of common tablets could exceed 95% after 20 minutes. When the microcrystalline celluose / low substituted hydroxypropylcellulose / polyvininylpolyrrolidone ratio was 9:1: 3, the in vitro and in vivo disintegration time Was within 30 s. When the usage of magnesium stearate was 0.5% and the hardness ratio was in the range of 3-4 kg, disintegration time was within 30 s. CONCLUSION: According reasonable prescription and simple product craft, we can product qualified clonazepam oral disintegrating tablets.
8.Oral cavity delivery system of unfractionated and low molecular weight heparin.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2010;45(10):1317-21
The difference between absorption of unfractionated heparin (UFH) and low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) after oral and oral cavity administration were studied respectively, and the compatible enhancer for oral cavity delivery system of both drugs was found. The LMWH and UFH films were prepared with two bioadhesive materials Carbopol and alginate sodium for oral cavity delivery. The activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) was used to determine LMWH and UFH in plasma after oral, oral cavity and sc administration in rats. The results show that the enhancer (Labrasol) can increase the absorption of LMWH and UFH through oral cavity in rats but not obviously. The oral cavity iontophoretic delivery system is a useful method to improve the absorption of LMWH and UFH through oral cavity mucosa.
