3.Correlation between voluntary blood donation and autonomous motivation
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2023;35(9):786-789
Objective:
To explore the relationship between voluntary blood donation and autonomous motivation based on self-determination theory, so as to provide insights into optimizing voluntary blood donation recruitment.
Methods:
Participants meeting the blood donation criteria were selected from blood stations and medical institutions in Hangzhou City, Jiaxing City and Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. A self-designed questionnaire based on self-determination theory was used to collect basic information, awareness and source of blood donation knowledge, autonomous motivation and controlled motivation. The correction between autonomous motivation and voluntary blood donation was analyzed using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
A total of 986 participants at ages of 18-55 years were surveyed, including 730 females (74.04%) and 256 males (25.96%). Among them, 705 participants (71.50%) had experience of voluntary blood donation. The mean score for blood donation knowledge was (5.76±1.17) points, and the total motivation score for blood donation was (58.21±8.17) points, with autonomous motivation scoring (40.86±5.46) points and controlled motivation scoring (17.35±3.26) points. Multivariable logistic regression analysis identified gender (female, OR=0.419, 95%CI: 0.273-0.644), occupation (medical profession, OR=4.027, 95%CI: 2.440-6.646), blood donation knowledge (OR=1.307, 95%CI: 1.159-1.475) and autonomous motivation (OR=1.074, 95%CI: 1.033-1.116) as factors affecting voluntary blood donation.
Conclusions
Autonomous motivation may promote voluntary blood donation. In blood donation recruitment efforts, it is vital to enhance autonomous motivation and make appropriate use of controlled motivation.

The one hand operation rate of the control group was 44.00% (220/500), and that of the experimental group was 98.00% (490/500). The difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( χ2 value was 354.055, P<0.01). Conclusions:The hemostatic air cushion with exhaust regulating valve is applied to patients with autogenous arteriovenous fistula after needle extraction, which has good hemostatic effect, simple and convenient operation, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
5.Application of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation for sleep disordered breathing in China.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(6):490-491
After more than 30 years of development, noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV) has become one of the main treatments of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) in the world. It is the wide application of this technology that makes breakthrough in SDB treatment, and has given rise to a new interdisciplinary area sleep medicine. In China, sleep medicine started in late of 1980's, in recent years, with the development of economy and the improvement of recognization, the application of NPPV in Chinese market has become one of the fastest growing in the world. NPPV technology also extends gradually to the treatments of patients with respiratory failure due to different causes, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome and COPD.

Li HAN ; Honglian HU ;
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
There have been few reports of acute leukemia predenting with a hypocellular bone marrow. Our institution, from 1977 to 1986, reviewed 9 cases of hypoplasfic acute leukemia (HAL). We concluded that HAL was similar to as well as different from dysmyclopoietic syndrom (MDS), smouldering acute leukemia(SAL) and oligoblastic leukemia(OBL). It was suggested that the diagnostic crieria of HAL were (1), The patients of no treatment had local hypocellularity of bone marrow, and had more than 30% blasts and promyelocytes of immaturocytes on bone marrow aspirate smears; (2), The patients had hypocellularity at presentation on trephine biopsy. We proposed that the names of SAL and OBC be called off.

10.Effects of hypothermia induced by 4 ℃ normal saline on liver in a swine model of cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2010;19(10):1031-1035
Objective To assess the effects of hypothermia induced by 4 ℃ normal saline (NS) on biochemical function, enzymology and morphology of liver in swine after the success of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for cardiac arrest(CA). Method The swine were resuscitated with standard CPR 4 minutes after ventricular fibrillation(VF) ,and the survived swine were randomly(random number) divided into two groups. In hypothermia(LT) group (n = 5), swine were treated with continuous infusion of 4 ℃ NS at the speed of 1.33 mL/(kg·min) for 22 min, and then slow the speed to 10 mL/(kg·h) for 4 h. In normothermia (NT) group ( n= 5) swine were treated with the infusion of NS with room temperature instead of cryogenic NS at the same speed as the LT group. The hemodynamics and the changes of blood gas were monitored until 4 h after restoration of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), and blood samples were taken to detect serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) before VFand 10 min, 2 h and 4 h after ROSC. All swine were sacrificed 24 hours after ROSC, and their liver tissues were taken away for detecting Na+ -K + -ATP enzyme and Ca2+ -ATP enzyme as well as the histological changes under both light and electron microscopy. ResultsThe heart rate, MAP, cardiac output(CO) and coronary perfusion pressure(CPP) of swine were stable in LT group ( P > 0.05). The AST, ALT and LDH increased in both groups but less in LT group. The hepatic ATP enzyme activity was much higher in LT group ( P < 0.05). Compared with the NT group, there were less cellularedema, necrosis or inflammatory cells infiltration, and better morphosis of mitochondria of livers found in swine of LT group. Conclusions The continuous administration of 4 ℃ NS after ROSC could quickly lower the core body temperature, and it could keep hemodynamics and oxygen metabolisms stable, protecting the biochemical function, enzymology and morphology of liver in swine after CPR.
