1.Antitumor mechanisum of a new antitumor drug-Cpd 5
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(7):491-494
Cpd 5 (2-(2-mercaptcethanol)-3-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone,Compound 5) is a potent growth inhibitor and apoptesis inducer in several tumor cell lines in vivo and in vitro. The mechanisms of cell in-hibition are partialy elucidated. Cpd 5 arrests cell cycle progression, affects the expression of some related genes by inhibiting PTP (protein tyrosine photophatase), specially Cdc25, and inducts the prolonged phosphorylation of ERK (extracellular signal-regulated kinase), then results in cell growth inhibition. Cpd 5 inhibits CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein)and phesphorlation of pp90RSK, which inhibits expression of genes mediated by cAMP response element and cell growth. Furthemore, Cpd 5 activats caspaso passway and induces apoptosis of the cells. Cpd 5 is a promising novel anticancer drug.
2.Clinical significance of thyroid function indices and 99mTc thyroid uptake rote in the early hypothyroidism following 131I treatment of Graves' disease
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;29(9):796-797
Objective To investigate the clinical value of thyroid function indices and 99mTc thy-roid uptake rate in the early hypothyroidism following 131I treatment of Graves' disease. Methods 66 patients with early hypothyroidism following 131I treatment of Graves' disease, were enrolled in the in-vestigation. The thyroid funtion indices(FT3 ,FT4 and TSH) and 20 rain 99mTc throid uptake rate were determined before and after levothyroxine sodium replacement treatment. Results FT3 ,FT4 and 99mTc throid uptake rate in hypothyroidism group were significanthy lower than those in healthy control group, and TSH was significanthy higher (P<0.01). However, the differences of above parameters weren't statistically significant group between transient hypothyroidism and developing hypothyroidism group(P>0. 05). After replacement theraphy, the thyroid function and 99 mTc throid uptake rate recov-ered in transient hypothyroidism group. FT3,FT4 and 99mTc throid uptake rate in developing hypothy-roidism group were significanthy lower than those in healthy control group and transient hypothyroid-ism group, and TSH kept significanthy higher(P<0.01). Conclusion It isn't capable of differentia-ting transient and developing hypothyroidism with thyroid homone in dices and 99mTc thyroid uptake rate in the early phase. After a short time replacement therapy, the thyroid function and 99mTc throid uptake rate recover in transient hypothyroidism subjects, but don't recover in developing hypothyroid-ism subjects.
3.Clinical Observation of Fire-needle Acupuncture for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(12):1445-1447
Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of fire-needle acupuncture in treating benign prostatic hyperplasia. Method Sixty subjects were randomized into two groups by using the sealed envelope method. The control group was intervened by conventional medications; after classified into four syndrome types, down diffusion of damp-heat, liver qi stagnation, turbid stagnation and kidney qi deficiency, the treatment group was majorly treated with fire-needle acupuncture in addition to filiform-needle acupuncture. Fire-needle acupuncture was performed at Guanyuan (CV4), Qugu (CV2) and bilateral Dahe (KI12), once a week, for continuous 6 months; the filiform-needle acupuncture was majorly at Baihui (GV20) and Qihai (CV6) with adjunctive points modified according to different syndromes, twice a week, 8 sessions as a treatment course, for 5 courses in total. Result The improved rate was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05);the residual urine volume was significantly changed after the intervention in both groups (P<0.01), and the decrease in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Fire-needle acupuncture can improve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and lower the residual urine volume.
4.Advancement of wheezing disorders in preschool children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(4):360-363
There is poor agreement on definitions of different phenotypes of preschool wheezing disorders. The latest study found that frequent wheezing was associated with humid living environment, nutritional status (including vitamin D intake during pregnancy and serum vitamin A levels) and gene cellular level. Based on the limited evidence available, inhaled short-acting β2-agonists are recommended for symptomatic relief. Maintenance treatment with inhaled corticosteroids is recommended for multiple-trigger wheeze. Montelukast is recommended for the treatment of episodic (viral) wheeze.
5.Research progress of mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2016;34(7):667-671
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the major complications of diabetes. It includes microvascular disease and neuronal function change. For the early treatment of DR,there are a variety of drugs and biologic preparations, including mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).As a kind of tissue engineering cell,it has broad prospects and gradually receives increasing attention.MSCs have strong ability of multi-directional differentiation and immuneregulation.Treating DR by MSCs may have a variety of mechanisms.Anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects of DR have been confirmed.According to the studies of MSCs in vitro and in vivo experiments. The researchers found that different MSCs transplantation approaches can improve retinal function in early DR and delay the development of DR.This paper was to a review on the research progress.
6.Adenovirus vector mediated HSV-tk gene killing action on Lewis lung cancer cells
Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2006;0(04):-
Objective To study the killing action of adenovirus vector carrying HSV-tk(AdCMVtk) on Lewis cells. Methods The recombinant adenovirus carrying HSV-tk was constructed by homologous recombination techniques. The adenovirus transfected efficiency to Lewis cells was measured, the cells were transfected by adenovirus vector with LacZ gene, then stained with X-gal.The effect of AdCMVtk/GCV system on survival rate of Lewis cells was observed. Results The adenovirus transfected efficiency to Lewis cells was increased with the increasing of multiplicity of infection(MOI).100% transfected efficiency needed MOI 500.AdCMVtk/GCV system could kill Lewis cells. When the amount of adenovirus or the concentration of GCV was increased, the cell survival rate was decreased, but AdCMVtk or GCV alone could not kill Lewis cells. The killing action existed bystander effect,74% Lewis cells were died with only 20% Lewis cells transfected AdCMVtk.Conclusion AdCMVtk/GCV system is effective and safe on killing tumor cells.
7.College nepotism based on information asymmetry
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
The formation mechanism of converse selection and moral hazard of college nepotism is discussed in terms of the information asymmetry theory, and several suggestions are also presented to avoid nepotism. A college-teacher employment system should be well established to manage and supervise the information about teachers, and there should be regulations for teachers' practices.

Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2011;24(3):176-177,191
By Exploring and analyzing the mistaken ideas in the talent introduction and management, the mind set of'return to zero'and the sense of gap should be proposed, also the rationality of hospital talent management should be established to promote knowledge and cultureintegration in order to promote hospital core competitiveness and harmonious hospital cultural construction so as to better service the patients.
