1.Investigation on relation between recurrent spontaneous abortion and antiphospholipid thrombosis syndrome

Objective To investigate the causes of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA) and to know the relation between RSA and antiphospholipid thrombosis syndrome(APL-T). Methods ELISA and PTT-LA were used to detect anticardiolipin antibody(ACA) and lupus anticoagulant(LA) in 32 patients with RSA and 20 normal controls(NC). Results There were 17 positive of antiphospholipid antibody(APA) in RSA group. The incidence was significantly higher than that in NC group. The incidence of LA was also significantly higher than that in NC group. 8 patients were diagnosed as APL-T. Conclusion LA may be the more important reason of RSA. It should be considered as APL-T when RSA is unexplained.
4.Clinical Observation of Warming-unblocking Yin Heel Vessel plus Rehabilitation for Post-stroke Strephenopodia

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of warming-unblocking Yin Heel Vessel plus rehabilitation training in treating post-stroke strephenopodia, for seeking the optimal treatment protocol.MethodNinety eligible subjects withpost-stroke strephenopodia were randomized into an acupuncture group, a rehabilitation group, and a united group, to respectively receive warming-unblocking Yin Heel Vessel, rehabilitation treatment, and warming-unblocking Yin Heel Vessel plus rehabilitation training. ResultTwo treatment courses later, there was no significant difference in comparing the strephenopodia score between the acupuncture group and rehabilitation group (P>0.05); the strephenopodia score in the united group was significantly different from that in the acupuncture group and rehabilitation group (P<0.05), and the improvement in strephenopodia in the united group was superior to that in both acupuncture group and rehabilitation group.ConclusionWarming-unblocking Yin Heel Vessel plus rehabilitation can produce a content efficacy in treating post-stroke strephenopodia.

With non-professional based on-site detection mode and miniature , portable and intelligent techniques as the basis , the potential of point-of-care testing ( POCT ) to feedback the result timely and help to make right decisions to handle emergencies has drawn the attention from extensive fields , including clinical investigation , disease control and prevention , quality control , environmental protection , forensic investigation, import and export inspection and so on.In this review, the definition, history and challenge of POCT promotion from qualitative detection to quantitative one were discussed .
6.Analysis of the risk factors of portal vein thrombosis in liver cirrhosis patients

To research the risk factors of portal vein thrombosis( PVT) in liver cirrhosis patients. 110 cirrhotic pa-tients with ( n =39 ) or without ( n =71 ) PVT diagnosed were enrolled. 12 common ultrasonographic and serum markers were analyzed. SPSS software was used for statistic analysis. Single factor analysis and Logistic regression model analysis showed that fibrinogen was the independent risk factor of portal vein thrombosis( PVT) in liver cir-rhosis patients. Fibrinogen should be monitored in patients with cirrhosis to prevent and find the occurrence of portal vein thrombosis.
7.Heme oxygenase-1 downregulates mucous hypersecretion induced by cigarette smoke in cultured A549 cells

Objective To investigate the effects of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) on the signal transduction pathway of mucin(MUC) expression induced by cigarette smoke.Methods The cell model of mucous hypersecretion was made by human lung A549 cell stimulated by cigarette smoke extract(CSE),the cells were divided into 4 groups:negative control group,CSE treatment group,heroin pre-treatment group and ZnPPIX pre-treatment group.The expression of MUC5AC,epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),p-EGFR,HO-1 and dual oxidase 1 (Duoxl) were detected.The cell activity was assessed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium method.The change of HO-1 mRNA,Duoxl mRNA,EGFR mRNA and MUC5AC mRNA was examined by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction.The protein expression of EGFR,p-EGFR,Duox1 and HO-1 was measured by Western blot,while the pro tein expression changes of MUC 5 AC were detected by ELISA.Results The expression level of MUC 5 AC mRNA and its protein in the CSE group increased significantly (P<0.05) as compared to those in the control group [0.412±0.043,(105±8) μg/mg.The mRNA and protein of EGFR,Duox1 and HO-1,the protein of p-EGFR increased significantly as compared to the control group.After the cells being pre-treated with hemin,the mRNA and protein of HO-1 increased significantly,while the mRNA and protein of Duox1,EGFR and MUC,SAC,the protein of p-EGFR decreased significantly as compared to the CSE group.After the cells were pre-treated with ZnPPIX,the increase of HO-1 mRNA and protein was not significant as compared to the control group,while the mRNA and protein of Duox1,EGFR and MUCSAC,the protein of p-EGFR increased significantly.Conclusion HO-1 decreased the level of Duox1,blocked ligand-dependent EGF-R activation and decreased the expression levels of MUCSAC.
8.Effects of Cigarette Smoke Extract on Signal Transduction Pathway of MUC5AC Mucin Expression in A549 Cells

Methods The cell model of mucous hypersecretion was made by human lung A549 cell stimulated by cigarette smoke extract (CSE),and treated with hemin or ZnPPIX,an inductor or inhibitor of HO-1. The expression of HO-1,dual oxidase 1(Duox1),MUC5AC,epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and p-EGFR were detected. The cell viability treated with hemin or ZnPPIX was assessed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium method (MTT). The cells were divided into 4 groups:a negative control group,a CSE treatment group,an hemin pre-treatment group and a ZnPPIX pre-treatment group. The changes of EGFR mRNA,Duox1 mRNA,HO-1 mRNA and MUC5AC mRNA were examined by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The protein expression changes of Duox1,HO-1,p-EGFR and EGFR were measured by Western blot,while the protein of MUC5AC in supernate and endochylema were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). 9.Effects of joint synovial fluid on tendon-bone healing of the reconstructed ligaments

[Objective]To explore the effects of joint synovial fluid on tendon-bone healing of reconstructed ligament. [Methods]Forty female New Zealand rabbits,aged 6 months,weight 2.5~3.5 kg,were divided into 4 groups randomly.Transfer of semitendinosus tendon to the bone tunnels was performed to make bone-tendon healing model,on the right knee the bone tunnel was not communicated to the joint cavity,in contrast,the bone tunnel on the left knee was connected with synovial fluid.Animals in one group were killed at 8 weeks after operation,bone-tendon healing samples were harvested for biomechanical test.Animals in other three groups were killed at 2,4 and 8 weeks after operation respectively to harvest the samples for histological observation.HE and Masson staining were conducted to examinant histological change.[Results]At 2 weeks after operation,there was no significant difference between non joint synovial fluid group and joint synovial fluid group in bone-tendon interface healing,which were filled with granulation tissue.At 4 weeks postoperatively,interface healing in non joint synovial fluid group was obvious better than that in joint synovial fluid group.Fibroblast cells and cartilage cells increased obviously,and collagen fibers synthesized.At 8 weeks after operation,tendon-bone interface in joint synovial fluid group was filled with connective tissue,the collagen fibers arranged disorderly.In contrast,more compact collagen fibers were seen in non joint synovial fluid group.Interface cell accounts in non joint synovial fluid group were superior to that in joint synovial fluid group at 2,4,8 weeks after operation (P
