To study the effect of high altitude on the expression of transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF ?1) during the healing process of radius fracture, a rat radius fracture model was established at a high altitude. Objective To explore the effects of combined exercise program ( fun game + rope skip-ping + figure running) on executive function ( EF) in primary students with Chinese learning difficulties. Methods Fifty-four Chinese learning disabled students were selected and randomly divided into experimen-tal group and control group. Three tasks ( the Flanker task,the 1-back task and the More-odd shifting task) were used to measure pupil’ s EF ( inhibition,updating,shifting) . Results ( 1) Compared with the control group,the primary students with Chinese learning difficulties in experimental group showed a significant en-hancement in executive function (F(1,43)=9.45, P<0.01). (2) The positive effects of 10 weeks combined ex-ercise program on executive function in primary students with Chinese learning difficulties were different. Specifically,a beneficial effect on updating(F(1,43)= 11.37, P<0.01) was got,but there were no significant effects on inhibition (F(1,43)=1.52, P>0.05) and shifting(F(1,43)=2.57, P>0.05). Conclusion The effect of combined exercise program ( fun game+rope skipping+figure running) plays a positive role in promoting updating function of primary school students with Chinese learning difficulties.

Objective To establish a new kinetic spectrophotometry for determination of formaldehyde in water sample. Methods Micro formaldehyde could sensitively catalyze the discoloring reaction of methyl orange oxidized by potassium bromated in dilute H3PO4 medium, the relationship between the reaction speed and the content of formaldehyde could be determinated by spectrophotometry, then the content of formaldehyde could be determinated. Results The optimum condition and kinetic paramneters were investigated and showed in the present paper in detail. The calibration curve showed linearity in the range of 0.13-3.0 ?g/ml and the limit of detection was 4.7?10-5 mg/ml. The RSDs ranged from 1.5% to 3.3%.The recovery rates ranged from 97.3% to 102.0%. Conclusion The mothed was simple, rapid and more sensitive, can be used for the determination of micro amounts of formaldehyde in water sample with satisfied results.

Published reports about polyps of larynx at the ventricular bands are extremely rare. The first symptom of this case presents recurrent hemoptysis. The video laryngoscope demonstrated that a smooth-faced and hyperemic polypoid lesion was found in the anterior part of the right false vocal cord, close to laryngeal surface of epiglottis. Postoperative pathological report revealed that the mass was a vascular polyp.

Objective To explore the relationship between the damage of neuromyelitis optica (NMO) astrocytes (AS) and the onset of NMO, and investigate the relevance of AS damage with the severity of the patients with functional defect. Methods The levels of aquaprin4-antibody (AQP4 -Ab), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), apolipoprotein(ApoE),interleukins-6(IL-6), interleukins-10(IL-10), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF ) and serum of 30 acute NMO patients were tested by means of ELISA. The results were later compared with control group. And analysis of the relevance of the various index of the levels in CSF with the CSF AQP4-Ab level, the acute phase expanded disability status scale(EDSS) score of the NMO group were made. Results (1)The NMO group in CSF and serum AQP4-Ab, GFAP, IL-6 levels were higher than the control group (P < 0.05), and ApoE, IL-10 levels were lower than the control group (P < 0.05). (2)The CSF GFAP, ApoE, IL-6 in NMO group is higher than the serum (P < 0.05), and CSF AQP4-Ab, IL-10 levels were lower than the serum ( P < 0 . 05 ) . ( 3 ) The CSF GFAP , IL-6 levels and the CSF AQP4-Ab level were positively correlated (r=0.749, r=0.526, P<0.05), and the CSF ApoE, IL-10 levels were negatively correlated with CSF AQP4-Ab level(r = -0.571, r = -0.676, P < 0.05). (4)The CSF AQP4-Ab, GFAP, IL-6 levels and the acute phase EDSS score were positively correlated (P < 0.05), the CSF ApoE, IL-10 levels were negatively correlated with the acute phase EDSS score (P < 0.05). Conclusion The AS damage exists in the NMO and the damage severity may correlate with patient function defect. AQP4-Ab, GFAP, IL-6 may play important roles in the onset of NMO and the disease aggravating. The decrease of the ApoE and IL-10 may exacerbate NMO damage.

OBJECTIVE: To summarize clinical experience of application of argon knife under electronic bronchoscope in the management of pediatric glottic and subglottic diseases. METHOD: Reports in the literature were reviewed. Outcome and prognosis of 4 cases with pediatric glottic and subglottic diseases managed with argon beam coagulator technique in Shanghai children's Medical Center since 2011 were retrospectively analyzed. RESULT: Granulation tissue hyperplasia in 3 cases with subglottic lesions did not recur after surgery. Scarring or stenosis were not found in the airway. Intubation of the trachea and tube of tracheotomy was pulled out successfully in all cases, restoring normal breathing. No lesion recurrence was found in 1 case with squamous cell moderate atypical hyperplasia one month after the surgery. CONCLUSION Electronic bronchoscope has advantages of clear image, fine and soft lens body, optional bending, angle conversion, accurate positioning. And the argon knife with small head diameter can pass the pediatric supraglottic. It can be manipulated precisely with short operation time and no damage to surrounding normal tissues. Its worth in popularization and application of management for with glottic and subglottie disease in pediatric patients.

Objective:To investigate the syndromes distribution in patients with dysfunctional uterine bleeding(DUB) related to kidney deficiency, and to provide the basis for standardizing the DUB syndrome differentiation of kidney deficiency. Methods: DUB Patients with kidney deficiency were chosen and accepted epidemical survey through the questionnaire, then the frequency and constituent ratio of each syndrome were calculated. Results: In 612 cases of DUB patients with kidney deficiency, there were 102 patients with simple syndromes covered 16.67%, and 510 patients with compound syndromes covered 83.33%. In patients with simple syndromes, the common syndromes were kidney-yin deficiency(45,44.12%) and kidney-qi deficiency(45,41.18%). And the syndromes of kidney-qi deficiency and kidney-yin deficiency were often respctively complicated with liver stagnation(68,11.09%; 113,18.43%), blood defi ciency(57,9.30%; 99,16.15%) and blood stasis(57,9.30%; 99,16.15%), the syndrome of kidney-yang deficiency usually complicated with spleen-qi deficiency(75,12.23%). The syndrome of kidney-qi deficiency(186,57.23%) was commonly-seen in the patients with ovular DUB, while the syndromes of kidney-qi(146,50.69%) and kidney-yin deficiency(111,38.54%) were frequently-seen in the patients with anovular DUB. Conclusion: In clinic, the compound syndromes were commonly seen in patients with DUB due to kidney deficiency, the complicated syndromes of kidney deficiency were liver stagnation, spleen-qi deficiency, blood deficiency and blood stasis..
