Objective:To explore the effects of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 on renal expression of TGF-?1 and HGF in type 1 diabetic rats.Methods:30 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomized into 3 groups:normal control rats(group NC),diabetic rats(group DM ) and diabetic rats treated with 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3(group DC).Kidney-to-body weight ratio(KW/BW),mean glomerular volume(MGV),fractional mesangial area(FMA),urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER)and serum creatinine(Scr)were measured after 12 weeks of treatment, while transforming growth factor-betal(TGF-?1) expression in kidney cortex were observed by immunohistochemistry. The expression levels of TGF-?1 mRNA and HGF mRNA were detected by reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) at the end of the experiment. Results:UAER,Scr,MGV,FMA and KW/BW ratio were significantly higher in the diabetic rats than those in the normal control rats(P
3.Research progress of long non-coding RNA related to breast cancer
China Oncology 2017;27(8):668-674
Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is a group of functional RNA molecules, which is more than 200 nu-cleotides in length, lacks ability of encoding protein and participates in all aspects of gene regulation. The current studies have indicated that some lncRNAs take part in regulating the process of breast cancer tumorigenesis and progression. This article reviewed the abnormal expression of lncRNA in breast cancer, its relationship to breast cancer growth, apoptosis, invasion and metastasis, and its function in early diagnosis, drug resistance and prognosis of breast cancer. This review was expected to offer an insight into a new target for the prediction, diagnosis and individual treatment of breast cancer.

5.Effect of compound poria prescription on proliferation and differentiation and expression of PPAR? mRNA in rat preadipocytes
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(07):-
AIM: To study the effect of herbal compound poria prescription (CPP) on proliferation and differentiation in primary rat preadipocytes, and to explore the mechanism of this process. METHODS: Primary cultured rat preadipocyte proliferation was determined by cell counting and MTT spectrophotometry. Cell differentiation was determined by Oil Red O staining, and the expression of PPAR? mRNA was determined by RT-PCR. RESULTS: CPP inhibited the proliferation and differentiation of primary rat preadipocytes in a dose-dependent manner, and it also inhibited the expression of PPAR? mRNA. CONCLUSION: CPP inhibits the proliferation of primary rat preadipocytes and inhibits the preadipocyte differentiation by suppressing the expression of PPAR? mRNA.
6.Study on evaluation method of pharmacodynamic of Chinese medicine in treating brain injury in vitro
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(8):759-762
The literatures on methods of pharmacodynamic of Chinese medicine in treating brain injury in vitro nearly 10 years were collected and summarized. The studies found that evaluated methods of pharmacodynamic of Chinese medicine in treating brain injury in vitro as followed: the experimental methods of anti-brain injury medicine were mainly used in vitro by serum or cerebrospinal fluid pharmacology, the cell models ofβ-amyloid toxicity, low sugar hypoxia, MPP+ toxicity were often used, the indexes of evaluation such as pathology, neuronal apoptosis, brain energy metabolism and oxidative stress of neuronal cells were chosen. When the researchers evaluate the pharmacodynamic of Chinese medicine, the appropriate experimental models and indexes will be selected based on experimental purposes.

Objective To understand the issues in the conversion of private medical institutions and explore the possible options. Methods Case study and in-depth interview were employed in 6 converted medical institutions. Results The reasons for conversion were diversified, and the process was not standardized. The attitudes towards how to deal with the net assets differed so much among the executives. The legislation and supervision by the government were still under-developed.Conclusion The process for the conversion should be standardized and the ownership of the net assets should be clearly defined. The legislation and supervision on private medical institutions should be enhanced.
9.Culture supernatant of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells for treatment of bronchial asthma and its influence on lung inflammation
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(36):5764-5768
BACKGROUND:Bronchial asthma is considered general y to have an association with Th2 immune response disease, but there is no ideal treatment. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s as a kind of adult stem cel s not only have the multipotent differentiation and proliferation capacity, but also have low immunogenicity and immunoregulation ability. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of culture supernatant of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s on lung inflammation of bronchial asthma mice. METHODS:Twenty experimental mice were randomly divided into control and experimental groups, 10 mice in each group. At 0 and 14 days, intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin induced sensitization in mice, and at 24-26 days, aerosolized ovalbumin solution was used for excitation. From the 24th day, in the experimental group, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel supernatant was intraperitoneal y injected at 2 hours before excitation;meanwhile, normal saline was injected in the control group. At the last of excitation, the mice were sacrificed under anesthesia to take serum samples, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and lung tissues. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Mice in the control group appeared to have abnormal lung tissue structure, and there were a large amount of eosinophils and monocytes in the submucosa and muscularis. However, lung inflammation was relieved in the experimental group after bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel treatment. (2) The levels of interleukin-17 in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and serum were significantly lower in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.05), but there was no difference in the levels of interleukin-4 between the two groups (P>0.05). These findings indicate that the intraperitoneal injection of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s can ease lung inflammation and reduce levels of inflammatory markers in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and serum of bronchial asthma mice.
10.Clinical Surface Electromyogram-based Observations on Electroacupuncture Treatment for Cervical Spondylosis
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(2):158-160
Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture on cervical surface electromyographic signals and explore the mechanism of its action on cervical muscle fatigue in patients with cervical spondylosis.Method All enrolled patients with cervical spondylosis received electroacupuncture treatment. Surface electromyography was performed in the patients before and after the first and one course of electroacupuncture treatment. An evaluation was made using a short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire before and after one course of electroacupuncture treatment. Pre- and post-treatment surface electromyographic RMS values and questionnaire scores were statistically analyzed and compared within the group.Result There were statistically significant differences in cervical erector spinae and upper trapezius RMS values during head lateral flexion and backward extension between before and after the first or one course of treatment (P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in the questionnaire sub-scores between before and after one course of treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture can markedly reduce cervical muscle fatigue in patients with cervical spondylosis. Surface electromyography as a noninvasive and objective evaluation method has a broad application prospect.
