3.Investigation on relation between recurrent spontaneous abortion and antiphospholipid thrombosis syndrome
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2001;(2):137-138
Objective To investigate the causes of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA) and to know the relation between RSA and antiphospholipid thrombosis syndrome(APL-T). Methods ELISA and PTT-LA were used to detect anticardiolipin antibody(ACA) and lupus anticoagulant(LA) in 32 patients with RSA and 20 normal controls(NC). Results There were 17 positive of antiphospholipid antibody(APA) in RSA group. The incidence was significantly higher than that in NC group. The incidence of LA was also significantly higher than that in NC group. 8 patients were diagnosed as APL-T. Conclusion LA may be the more important reason of RSA. It should be considered as APL-T when RSA is unexplained.
5.Granzyme B, B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 gene and BH3-interacting domain death agonist in cell apoptais
International Journal of Surgery 2012;39(2):111-114
Granzyme B is an important effect factor of cytotoxic T lymphocytes in the immune killer function, can quickly induce cell apoptosis of the target cell.It is complicated for the reasons and the ways of the occurrence of the cell apoptosis, many genes are involved in gene regulation of cell apoptosis, and the B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 gene family members play a crucial role in the process of cell apoptosis. This paper mainly reviews the correlation of GrB and Bcl-2,Bid with cell apoptosis.
6.Effect of IL-10 in tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(3):181-184
Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an immuno-regulatory cytokine, which is well known for its immunosuppressive function.IL-1O can act on a variety of immune cell subsets and play an immunosuppressive effect through a variety of ways.It plays an important role in the tumor immune escape.Recent studies show that IL-10 also has an immune-stimulating function, which is presumably a pluripotent cytokine. This paper will combine the latest literature to summary the positive and negative regulatory roles of IL-10,mediation ways in the tumor and the relationships with prognosis.
7.Universal Health Coverage in China and development strategies
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2013;29(8):561-564
Objective Perform a quantitative analysis on the development stage of Universal Health Coverage (UHC)in China and discuss key options for scaling up UHC in China. Methods Quantitative addition model was used to analyze the UHC trend in China from 2003-2011,along with a sensitivity analysis and international comparison with the UK.Results The quantitative analysis showed that the UHC in China, for the year of 2003,2008 and 2011 were 2.79,2.32 and 2.60 respectively.Sensitivity analysis showed the integration of the health insurance schemes and scaling up the risk pooling levels contributed more than other factors to UHC in China. Conclusion The UHC in China has been developed to the mid-stage,but still lags far behind developed countries like the UK.Such general measures as equalization of benefits and scaling up of the risk pooling level should be taken.First of all, equalization of medical benefits for both rural and urban residents makes the fundamental priority and policy in the pursuit of UHC in China.
8.Heme oxygenase-1 downregulates mucous hypersecretion induced by cigarette smoke in cultured A549 cells
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2010;30(3):246-251
Objective To investigate the effects of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) on the signal transduction pathway of mucin(MUC) expression induced by cigarette smoke. Methods The cell model of mucous hypersecretion was made by human lung A549 cell stimulated by cigarette smoke extract(CSE),the cells were divided into 4 groups:negative control group,CSE treatment group, heroin pre-treatment group and ZnPPIX pre-treatment group. The expression of MUC5AC,epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),p-EGFR,HO-1 and dual oxidase 1 (Duoxl) were detected. The cell activity was assessed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium method. The change of HO-1 mRNA,Duoxl mRNA,EGFR mRNA and MUC5AC mRNA was examined by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. The protein expression of EGFR,p-EGFR,Duox1 and HO-1 was measured by Western blot, while the pro tein expression changes of MUC 5 AC were detected by ELISA.Results The expression level of MUC 5 AC mRNA and its protein in the CSE group increased significantly (P<0.05) as compared to those in the control group [0.412±0.043,(105±8) μg/mg.The mRNA and protein of EGFR,Duox1 and HO-1,the protein of p-EGFR increased significantly as compared to the control group. After the cells being pre-treated with hemin, the mRNA and protein of HO-1 increased significantly, while the mRNA and protein of Duox1,EGFR and MUC,SAC,the protein of p-EGFR decreased significantly as compared to the CSE group. After the cells were pre-treated with ZnPPIX,the increase of HO-1 mRNA and protein was not significant as compared to the control group, while the mRNA and protein of Duox1,EGFR and MUCSAC,the protein of p-EGFR increased significantly. Conclusion HO-1 decreased the level of Duox1,blocked ligand-dependent EGF-R activation and decreased the expression levels of MUCSAC.
9.Characteristics and management of 301 cases of civilian firearm injuries in maxillofacial region
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;17(3):220-222
Objective: To view the characteristics and the primary treatment of civilian firearm wound in the maxillofacial region. Methods: 301 cases of the casualties admitted to our hospital were retrospectively investigated, the epidemic, etiology, wound characteristics, and treatments of the patients were viewed respectively. Results: Of all the cases, the ratio of male to female was 5.1∶1.0. 57% of the injuries were caused by gunshot, 66% were with multiple injuries.16% combination wound were craniocerebral injuries. In this group of patients, more than 900 wound tracks were found, 72% of the tracks were nonpenetrating and 67% of those were with foreign bodies lodged in. Burns with blast injuries were the main complex wounds, which mostly occurred in explosion. The treatments mainly included life maintaining, earlier debridement and infection control. Conclusions: The maxillofacial firearm injuries are complex and have their own characteristics depending on the firearms, the wound styles and the regional anatomy. All the factors must be considered when treatment is given.
10.Progress in research and application of bioactive scaffolds in bone tissue engineering
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2002;0(02):-
The research on novel scaffold materials is now characterized by a transition from single element to composition, from inert materials to bioactive materials, and from macro- level to micro- level. With the rapid development of nano- technology and life sciences, the two concepts of nano- modification and biomimic construction joined the mainstream of the scaffold research. And in this field, the theory of bone generation net has been recently explored systematically and comprehensively. As a result, it has now become a research focus to obtain ideal bioactive scaffolds on the basis of current investigation. This paper highlights several types of promising scaffolds, discusses their recent research and application, and reviews the present situation concerning bioactive scaffolds
