1.The analysis and expression of human epidermal growth factor-2,ventricular endothelial growth factor, glucose transporter-1 in breast cancer with lymph metastasis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2013;36(z1):13-15
Objective To analyze the expression of human epidermal growth factor (HER)-2,ventricular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),glucose transporter (GLUT)-1 in breast cancer with lymph metastasis. Methods Eighty cases with breast cancer were selected, and 46 cases without lymph metastasis (non-lymph metastasis group),34 cases with lymph metastasis (lymph metastasis group).Immunohistochemical staining SP was used to detect the expression of HER-2,VEGF,GLUT-1.The level of HER-2,VEGF,GLUT-1 in different grade was analyzed. Results The positive expression of HER-2,VEGF,GLUT -1 was 13.0%(6/46),45.7%(21/46),17.4%(8/46) in non-lymph metastasis group, and 88.2%(30/34),88.2% (30/34),88.2% (30/34) in lymph metastasis group. There was significant difference between two groups(P < 0.01 or < 0.05).There was significant difference in the expression of HER-2,VEGF,GLUT-1 in grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ between two groups (P<0.01).Conclusion HER-2,GLUT-1 and VEGF in breast cancer with lymph metastasis for high expression, different tumor classification expresses different.
6.Distribution and characters of peptide YY receptor in rat jejunum epithelial cell
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
Objective To detect normal rat jejunum epithelial cells to learn about the distribution of peptide YY(PYY)receptor and measured two important parameters of PYY receptor so as to explore the target that PYY binds to and display its physiological function. Methods Receptor radioligand assay was conducted by using 125I-PYY to detect normal rat jejunum epithelial cells. We also measured receptor dissociation constant(Kd),the affinity or the ability that the receptor could bind ligand;maximum binding capacity(Bmax),the concentration of binding site;and Hill coefficient. Results There were PYY receptors in normal rat jejunum epithelial cells.Dissociation constant(Kd)of PYY receptor was(386.69?129.95)pmol/L.Maximum binding capacity(Bmax)was(303.21?116.85)fmol/mg protein.Hill coefficient was 1.PYY receptor had high affinity. Conclusion There are distributions of PYY receptors in normal rat jejunum epithelial cells.Kd means that PYY receptor has high affinity.Bmax means that the number of receptors is limited and decides the characters of saturability. We think that PYY directly inhibits secretion by binding to PYY receptor in jejunum epithelial cells when PYY inhibiting jejunum secretion.
7.The influence of high cholesterol diet on gallbladder calculus formation and gallbladder motility
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Objective To investigate whether high cholesterol diet (HCD) can cause gallbladder cholesterol calculus and to probe into the mechanism of its influence on gallbladder motility function. Methods Noumenon dissect and B-type ultrasonic apparatus was used to observe condition of gallbladder calculus formation in HCD group and normal control group; gallbladder motility function of the two groups were measured; radioimmunoassay was used to measure plasma CCK level in fast and 30min after fatty meal; colorimetry was used to measure cholesterol concentration in bile; and the pathologic changes of gallbladder specimen were observed. Results The gallbladder cholesterol calculus formation rate and cholesterol concentration in bile of HCD group was remarkably higher than that in normal control group (P
8.Effect of different surgical approaches on postoperative quality of life and survival of patients with Ⅱ, Ⅲ type adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction
Cancer Research and Clinic 2014;26(10):695-698,702
Objective To analyze the postoperative quality of life index and survival of Ⅱ,Ⅲ type adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG) patients who were implemented radical surgery through the transthoracic approach or abdominal transhiatal approach. To explore the reasonable operative approach of Ⅱ,Ⅲ type AEG.Methods 139 cases of patients with Ⅱ,Ⅲ type AEG were prospectively enrolled into the group in Shanxi Cancer Hospital during March 2012 to September 2012.64 cases of them were in transthoracic approach (TT) group, and 75 cases in abdominal transhiatal approach (TH) group. The operative time, the residual incision margin cancer rate, the average number of lymph node dissection, postoperative hospital stay, the average number of days required for gastrointestinal function recovery, the incidence of cardiopulmonary complications, anastomotic leakage rate, postoperative bleeding rate, perioperative mortality, postoperative respiratory function decline rate within 1 year, the average weight loss after 1 year, postoperative reflux rate within 1 year, recurrence and metastasis rate within 1 year, and 1-year survival rate of two groups were respectively compared. Results Statistical analysis was done on the perioperative data of 139 patients, and regular follow-up was carried out for these 139 patients after they discharged from hospital,of which 26 cases were lost, the lost rate was 18.7 %,so the followed-up cases were 113 cases.Postoperative hospital stay in transthoracic approach group was longer than abdominal transhiatal approach group with significant difference,(20.2±8.9) d vs (17.1±6.4) d (P < 0.05),the average number of lymph node dissection in transthoracic approach group (15.2±7.5) was less than abdominal transhiatal approach group (23.0±13.0) with significant difference (P < 0.05).No significant difference were observed in the operative time, the residual incision margin cancer rate, the average number of days required for gastrointestinal function recovery, the incidence of cardiopulmonary complications, anastomotic leakage rate, postoperative bleeding rate, perioperative mortality, postoperative respiratory function decline rate within 1 year, the average weight loss after 1 year, postoperative reflux rate within 1 year, recurrence and metastasis rate within 1 year, and 1-year survival rate of the two operation approaches (all P > 0.05).Conclusions Abdominal approach, through the esophageal hiatus radical surgery is a preferred operative approach of Ⅱ,Ⅲ type AEG.The average number of lymph node dissection in abdominal transhiatal approach group was more than transthoracic approach group. It may have some influence on the prognosis.
9.Research progress on the anti-infectious mechanism of vitamin D
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2021;37(2):168-171
Clinical epidemiological studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency is associated with infectious diseases, which is confirmed by recent studies implying the role of vitamin D as a key regulator of host defense against infections. Bioactive vitamin D triggers antimicrobial pathways against pathogens in mucous membrane and cells of the human innate immune system. In addition, vitamin D also attenuates excessive inflammation and acquired immunity, and thus limits collateral tissue damage. The observed effects of vitamin D on infectious diseases, particularly airway infections, should be addressed in the management of viral infections. Findings from cross-sectional studies should be confirmed by prospective research. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge regarding the effect of vitamin D on innate and acquired host defense against infections.
