2.Ultrasonic crown-rump length (CRL) measurement of fetus in assessing gestational age
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;458(8):28-31
Study the correlation of fetal crown-rump lengtht (CRL) measurement and gestational age of 6 to 14 weeks in 100 pregnant women. Results: there is a close correlation between CRL measurement measured by ultrasound and gestational age, with correlation function y = 0.86x2 - 7.53x - 18.78; correlation coefficient r = 0.998. Thus ultrasound can be used to measure CRL for diagnosis of gestational age, with the range was within 3.7 days of menstrual age. The rate of change in CRL was 7 mm/week between 7-10 weeks and 13.5 mm/week between 11-14 weeks

6.Effects of traditional relaxing exercise on some biological indices in hypertensive elderly
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):42-47
Research on effect of traditional medicine's relaxing practice on several biological indices of 50 people suffered from blood hypertension. We come to the following conclusion: Traditional medicine's relaxing practice has its effect to several biological indices: Respiratory activity: Breathing frequency and saturation of oxygen (SaO2), do not change when relaxation practice. Circulation activity: Pulse frequency, blood pressure decrease but limb's blood circulation increases. There is a change at Hop coc and Tuc tam ly acupuncture points: Skin temperature increases, Resistance decreases, electric current level decreases

7.Study on the effects of traditional medicinal relaxant exercise on some biological indicators in elderly
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):1-8
Through the research result of 50 elderly peoples have practised relaxation we draw the following conclusion: 1. Traditional medicine’s relaxing practice has its effect to several biological indexes: *Electrict: -On ECG: the alpha wave increases in frequency, amplitude, indexes. The beta index reduces. The theta wave remains in charged. - On REG: The cardiac rhythm decreases and QT wave becomes longer but this change is not significant. *Respiratory: relaxation does not change the breath frequency and oxygen saturation (SaO2) * Circulation relaxation reduces pulse frequency, blood pressure (but still within normal unit), increases blood influx of limbs.* On Hop coc and Tuc tam ly points: The skin temperature increases, skin resistant decreases, no change with electric influx. On some biochemical indexes. Relaxation reduces sugar, cholesterol, triglycerid, cortison, catecholamin. 2. The change of some biochemical indexes mentioned above helps prove scientifically the effect of relaxation practice.

8.Influence of the traditional relaxant exercise on the electroencephalogram
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):1-46
To understand about impacts of traditional relaxation on ECG, we recorded ECG of 108 people practicing traditional relaxation at Duong sinh Dep., Vietnam Institute of Traditional Medicine. Everybody’s ECG is recorded 3 times: before, after a exercise and after the period of practice. From the research results we come to conclusions as follows:-Alpha increases in frequency, amplitude, index with p<0.01- Beta does not change in amplitude, index decreases with p < 0.01. Teta and delta does not change in amplitude, index decreases with p< 0.01 and 0.05

9.Actual situation of Public Relation activities of various pharmaceutical companies in Viet Nam
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2004;0(7):27-30
Background: For a long time, the domestic pharmaceutical companies have performed Public Relation (PR) activities to help their business and ensure good relations with their customers. However, the effects of the pharmaceutical companies\u2019 PR activities were not high. Objective: To discover the actual circumstances of PR for a number of pharmaceutical companies in Viet Nam in recent years. Subjects and method: Subjects were the PR activities of pharmaceutical companies through the relations with various public groups. This was a descriptive, retrospective and observational study. Results: The pharmaceutical companies were more and more interested in relations with the public through sponsorship programs. Client relations had been consolidated after health consultancies, customer conferences, workshops, trade fairs, etc\u2026 The image of domestic pharmaceutical companies has appeared more often on mass media. Internal PR activities had built the culture of business and cemented relations between the company and employees. Investment and distribution relations had lagged behind. Conclusions: The PR activities of the pharmaceutical companies appeared to be more varied through relations with various public groups, making contributions to the development of the company.
