Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(8):632-635
Objective] Summarizing the diagnosis and treatment about the tumor-related disease from “Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber”, thus to better use classic in clinic. [Method] Sort out the book that involves tumor-related diseases pathogenesis, therapeutic treatment and syndrome differentiation treatment, combine with each of the clinical words, analyze and summarize all the clinical experience of physicians. [Results]The book is not equipped with tumor article, many cancer-related clinical manifestations of the disease description can be seen in each chapter, although not forming a system, its pulse and symptoms are involved in different parts of the tumors. And the symptoms of lung cancer, stomach cancer, and gynecological tumors also have been mentioned.[Conclusion] Visible in the book, the etiology and pathogenesis of tumor related diseases have a certain understanding. In the aspect of treatment, pay attention to combining disease syndrome differentiation, treatment and syndrome differentiation. Then concluding all the physicians clinical experience we can see that “Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber”for the treatment of tumors has great significance. And classic of traditional Chinese medicine for modern TCM clinical still have important reference value and guiding significance.

Objective To understand the current status of infections of intestinal parasites of population in Taixing City,Ji-angsu Province. Methods The infection rates and densities of human intestinal parasites were investigated according to the methods of the National Investigation Scheme on Human Principal Parasites, and the data of society, economy and disease con-trol were collected and analyzed. Results Among 2 556 people investigated in five villages,16 persons were found with intesti-nal parasites, with an infection rate of 0.63%. The infection rate was higher in residents with a low education level than in others and it was higher in the age group over 50 years than in the group under 50 years. The infection density was mild and the most was the single parasite infection. Conclusions The current status of intestinal parasite infections of population in Taixing City has reached the county-level control standard of Jiangsu Province. Therefore, the preventive strategy and measures should be ad-justed and the monitoring work should be strengthened.

Objective To understand the malaria prevalence and epidemic characteristics in Taixing City from 2005 to 2015,so as to provide the evidences for formulating the prevention and control strategy. Methods The malaria data of Internet reported cases as well as the reports on epidemiological survey of malaria cases in Taixing City from 2005 to 2015 were collected and analyzed with the methods of descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. Results A total of 61 malaria cases were report?ed in Taixing City from 2005 to 2015,including 4 local cases and 57 imported cases. There were 9 cases of vivax malaria,47 cases of falciparum malaria,2 cases of malariae malaria, and 3 cases of ovale malaria. There was no seasonality in the occur?rence of imported malaria. Though there was no correlation between the times of malaria attack and the duration for going out (r = 0.154 ,P = 0.253),there was a negative correlation between the former and the timeliness for visiting a doctor (r = -0.312,P=0.014). Conclusions The malaria cases are mainly imported ones in Taixing City, and the Plasmodium spe?cies of infection are diverse. Imported malaria overseas remains the key point for malaria control in Taixing City.

Objective:To investigate the pain level of lumbar puncture and family anxiety of hospitalized children, and analyze the influencing factors of family anxiety. Methods:A multi-center cross-sectional survey was used to enroll 190 children and their families who underwent lumbar puncture in 4 hospitals of Jiangsu Province from July 2018 to December 2019. The FLACC scale and face pain scale (WONG-BAKER scale) were adopted. The visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to investigate the pain level, and the anxiety state-trait questionnaire (STAI) was used to investigate the anxiety level. Results:The pain level scores before and after lumbar puncture were (2.86 ± 1.08) and (6.24 ± 1.59) scores respectively, and the difference was statistically significant ( t = 24.241, P<0.001). The total anxiety level of the children′s family members was (73.78 ± 4.67) scores, which was affected by factors such as the pain score, the age of the child, the number of lumbar punctures, the success rate of a lumbar puncture, the level of the hospital, the family status, and the education level of the family (adjusted R2 = 0.574, F = 29.784, P = 0.001). Conclusions:The pain in children is at a high level, and the anxiety level of their family members is also at a high level and is affected by many factors. Clinical medical staff can stratify the children and their families, and adopt targeted methods to relieve the pain of the children and the anxiety of the family members and promote the smooth development of the lumbar puncture.

OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical efficacy and effect on serum thymic stromal lymphopoietin(TSLP)levels of pa-tients with advanced liver cancer of qi deficiency and toxic stasis type by Jiawei Yupingfeng San.METHODS Using random double blind method,120 patients with advanced liver cancer of qi deficiency and toxic stasis type were randomly divided into 3 groups:Jiawei Yupingfeng San group,Yupingfeng San group, and placebo group, each consisting of 40 cases. All patients in the 3 groups were given conventional treatment such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, interventional or targeted therapy;Jiawei Yupingfeng San group was given Jiawei Yupingfeng San granules,Yupingfeng San group was given Yupingfeng San granules, and placebo group was given placebo. The course of treatment was 2 months. The changes of Karnofsky functional status score(KPS score),TCM syndrome score, tumor size and serum TSLP level in the 3 groups were observed before and after treatment, and the correlation between the changes of tumor size and TSLP was analyzed.RESULTS After treatment, the KPS scores of Yupingfeng San group and Jiawei Yupingfeng San group were sig-nificantly increased(P<0.05,P<0.01),TCM syndrome score were decreased(P<0.01),tumor growth(P<0.05,P<0.01)was de-layed,and serum TSLP levels(P<0.05,P<0.01)were decreased.Furthermore, there was a slight positive correlation between chan-ges in tumor size and changes in TSLP(P<0.05).In terms of improving tumor size, the curative effect of Jiawei Yupingfeng San group was better than that of Yupingfeng San group(P<0.05).During the treatment period,no obvious adverse reactions were observed in the 3 groups of patients.CONCLUSION Combined with conventional treatment,Jiawei Yupingfeng San can significantly delay tumor growth in patients with advanced liver cancer of qi deficiency and toxic stasis type and improve patients'TCM syndromes and their qual-ity of survival. The therapeutic mechanism is related to reducing the expression of serum TSLP and improving the immune status of pa-tients,thereby delaying the growth of tumors.
