Objective To study the effects of three therapies on shoulder pains after gynecological laparoscopies. Methods After the gynecological laparoscopies,180 patients were randomly assigned to hot compress group(n=57),oxygen therapy group (n=65)and routine care group as control group(n=58).All the patients in the three groups were given oxygen inhalation for three hours.Besides, those controls were given mental care, comfort support and massage, while those in the two experiment groups were managed with hot compress on the shoulder and oxygen inhalation via nasal tube at 2 L/min each for 2 hours at 8 am and 4 pm on the first day.The three groups were compared in terms of shoulder pains,at different time points on the first day(at 8 am,4 pm and 8 pm). Results After intervention, there were significant differences between the three groups in terms of shoulder pains(P<0?05).In both experiment groups, the scores on the shoulder pains after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention(P<0?001). Conclusions Hot compress and oxygen treatment are both effective in relief of the shoulder pain after gynecological laparoscopy. Therefore, the therapy can be decided on economic conditions and postoperative rehabilitations.

For decades, there have been no systematic studies on the reference intervals of Chinese populations. With the support of the Ministry of Health, the Chinese Society of Laboratory Medicine launches a research project investigating the Chinese reference intervals for common clinical laboratory tests.Up to now,the first batch of reference intervals for common liver function, electrolytes and blood cell analysis have been published in forms of healthy professional standards.Medical institutions are suggested to use these new reference intervals in clinical practice.

It is to address torquing an individual tooth using a gate spring. The gate spring is made of a rectangular stainless steal wire, in the shape of a gate, which is incorporated to the archwire by spot welding. Torque is generated by the combined effects of the gate spring and the archwire. After 2-3 months, the gate spring can obviously torque individual tooth.

Objective To verify and monitor the performance of accuracy, precision and comparability of 26 clinical biochemical analytes (29 methods) in the six centers involved in multi-centers reference intervals research, and to ensure the reliability of theirmeasurement results. Methods During the period of the systems evaluating, two levels of commercial quality control materials and fresh frozen human serum reference materials were applied to verify the performance of inter-laboratory precision and accuracy of analysis systems. During the period of samples testing, the commercial quality control materials were measured whenever samples were analysed, the fresh frozen serum reference materials were measured once a month. The coefficient of variations (CVs), bias and total errors were calculated to assess the precision, accuracy and comparability. Results Verification of precision and accuracy: ( 1 ) the ranges of CVs of 29 methods in the six laboratory laboratories were 0.4%-6.0%, the CVs of all 29 methods met the criterion . (2) The overall average bias of the analysis systems of 21 analytes (24 methods) ranged from -5.15%( ALT) to 4.46% ( Ur ) .Among 24 methods the overall average bias of TP, Glu-GOD, Ur, Cl, Ca exceeded the acceptable range. The quality assessment during the period of samples testing:(1) The overall average bias ranged from -1.95%(Ca) to 2.92%(Ur), median 1.26%, they all met the requirements of relevant standards.( 2 ) When commercial control materials were tested, the requirements of CVs were fulfilled for most methods in the six laboratories, and the CVs of TP, Alb, Cl, Ca exceeded the acceptable range. The overall average TE of all methods met the quality specification for the C-N controls material. For the C-P control material, only the overall average TE of TP (5.05%) exceeded thearceptable range while the other methods met the requirement in criterion. Conclusions The performance of precision and accuracy of the analysis systems used in the six laboratories passed the verification.During the period of sample testing, the performance of precision and accuracy of the most methods in the 6 laboratories met the requirements of quality specifications, and the overall performance was good.Because of the limitation of current technology the performance of some methods didn't fulfill the requirement of specifications, and need to be improved.

Objective:To study the changes the changes of cytokine expression the aqueous humor of patients with macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO-ME) before and after intravitreal ranibizumab (IVR).Methods:A prospective clinical study. From June 2018 to June 2021, 31 eyes of 31 patients with non-ischemic BRVO-ME diagnosed by ophthalmic examination in Department of Ophthalmology, Beijing Hepingli Hospital were included in the study. Among them, 15 males had 15 eyes, and 16 females had 16 eyes. Age was 70 (65, 72) years; the course of disease was 10 (9, 15) days. All of them were first-time patients. All eyes were treated with IVR once a month for 3 consecutive months. At the end of each IVR treatment, 0.1 ml aqueous humor was extracted immediately. The concentrations of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), interleukin-6 (IL-6), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) in aqueous humor were detected by flow cytometry. The concentrations of cytokines in aqueous humor before and after treatment were compared by Kruskal-Wallis or Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Spearman correlation analysis was performed on the correlation between VEGF and MCP-1 expression level in aqueous humor before treatment. Results:The concentrations of VEGF and ICAM-1 in aqueous humor were significantly lower at 1 month after treatment compared with that before treatment, and at 2 months after treatment compared with that at 1 month after treatment ( Z=4.03, 3.25, 2.50, 3.48; P<0.05); the concentrations of IL-6 and VCAM-1 increased and the concentration of MCP-1 decreased, but there was no significant difference ( Z=-0.21, 1.42, 0.86, -0.53, 0.92, -1.57; P>0.05). Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was a strong positive correlation between VEGF and MCP-1 in aqueous humor before treatment ( r=0.78, P<0.001). Conclusion:The concentrations of VEGF and ICAM-1 in aqueous humor significantly decrease after IVR treatment in BRVO-ME; the concentrations of IL-6, MCP-1 and VCAM-1 do not obviously change.

Objective To investigate the correlation between the-308 site,-238 site gene polymorphism of TNF-αa promoter region in hypemricemh and its metabolic phenotype. Methods HUA patients 188,normal people(NHU)51,the-308G/A site single nu-cleofide polymorphism of TNF-a gene promoter region was decided by Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymor-phism(PCR-RFLP)method.The level of serum uric acid is detected by uricase.blood glucose by glucose oxidase.Selective inhibition assay for total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. All these tests were complted within three hours afterextraction.Keep blood samples at-20℃ to detect the concentration of insulin using immunoradiometrie assay.HUA patients 35.NHU 39,the -238G/A site single nucleofide polymorphism of TNF-a gene promoter region was decided by the same method. Results By smdying two single nucleotide polymorphism, the GA+AA frequency of-308 site(23.94%)in HUA was significantly higher than NHU(11.76%)(P=0.0001);the genotype frequencies of GA and GG in-238 site had no significant difference between the two groups(P=0.08).Meanwhile,comparing GA+AA genotype and CG group of-308 site,waist-hip ratio, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, uric acid, triglycerides differences were statistically significant(P=0.05-0.01);the difference in-238 site between the two genotypes waft no significance. Conclusion The results of this study show-308A carriers of TNF-α promoter region in HUA individual is correlated with hyperuficemia and its metabolic phenotype.
