1.Experiment study on traditional Chinese medicine used in depressive animal models
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(6):553-554
Establishment of depressive animal model is the premise for evaluating the effect and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine on depression. Many traditional Chinese medicines for depressive treatment in a mouse model of experimental studies have demonstrated a sound antidepressant effect, indicating that traditional Chinese medicine treats depression effectively. Therefore, more and more attentions have been paid in recent years. My article made a summary on depressive animal models of experiment study.
2.A study on help-seeking behavior and treatment with mental illness
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(2):155-157
ObjectiveTo explore help-seeking behavior and treatment towards people with mental illness,so as to provide evidence for intervention measures. Methods 1988 mental disorders in outpatient were selected with a self-developed questionnaire randomly, and regression analysis was carried out.ResultsUnstable marriages and the lack of mental health knowledge were risk factors for actively professional help-seeking contact after first onset of a mental disorder.Median delays of seeking help and treatment in depression, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders and somatoform disorders were 113.5 days,34.0 days,86.5 days,309.0 days and 6.0 months,3.0 months,3.0 months,5.5 months orderly. There were notable difference for primary treatment contact between the four mental disorders ( x2 =46.317,P =0.029 ).No-professional recognition ratio was 17.8%.The ratio of correctly diagnosed and rationally cured with drugs ratio was 10.5%.89.5% of outpatients had not been given rational drugs then they sought to psychiatry.ConclusionThe delay of help-seeking and treatment in mental illnesses are serious,so it should be taken effective measures to promote the popularization of mental health knowledge and train no-professional doctors in order to improve the behavior of seeking help and provide the ratio of recognition and treatment.

Objective To discuss the nursing resources allocation status in Xinjiang production and construction corps so that reasonable allocation, utilization and management of the nursing work-forces can be strengthened for ensuring the nursing qualities and adapting to the needs of continuous development of the profession. Methods Information such as the quantity, age, education and the title of technical post of tbe nurses in the year of 2005 was collected and analyzed. Results The results showed shortage of nurses, the average doctor-nurse ratio was 1:1.20;the age structure of the objects investigated was suitable, small at beth ends and big in the middle.while more well educated and well technical post titled nurses were needed. Conclusions The quantity of nurses should be increased properly and the present nursing labors should be made use of scientifically, what's more, the training of the bilingual skill of the nurses should be given according to the multinational region features.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2014;(3):321-324
Poor handwriting of physical examination report written by hand made the subjects discard the report at will and resulted in the decrease of the report effectiveness. Therefore, personal electronic files were used in department of physical examination of our hospital since 2006. By contin-uously improving the functionality of the system, automatic transmission and extraction of medical in-formation have been achieved, better health services have been provided and better conditions have been created for teaching and research. Accuracy rate was significantly improved by electronic files compared with paper files, undetected and error detection rate was significantly decreased and satis-faction with the medical examination was significantly improved.

Objective To find out the problems in information service for diabetic patients by investigating their use of information service. Methods The enthusiasm and channels to access information in diabetic patients and the types of information they wanted were investigated in 14 Wuhan hospitals, which were analyzed by descriptive sta-tistics, chi-square test, and Five-Point Likert Scale scoring. Results About 1/3 of the patients never initially searched the health information on diabetes, the majority of the patients acquired the health information on diabetes from medical institutions, diabetic patients did not show enough concern for the information on the etiology, influencing factors and treatment plan of diabetes. Conclusion Diabetic patients lack of enthusiasm to access information, medical staff and medical institutions are the chief force of information service for diabetic patients, and the special informa-tion accessed by diabetic patients is quite less.

Grass carp reovirus (GCRV), a disaster agent to aquatic animals, belongs to Genus Aquareovirus of family Reoviridea. Sequence analysis revealed GCRV genome segment 8 (s8) was 1296 bp nucleotides in length encoding an inner capsid protein VP6 of about 43kDa. To obtain in vitro non-fusion expression of a GCRV VP6 protein containing a molecular of fluorescence reporter, the recombinant baculovirus, which contained the GCRVs8 and eGFP (enhanced green fluorescence protein)genes, was constructed by using the Bac-to-Bac insect expression system. In this study, the whole GCRVs8 and eGFP genes, amplified by PCR, were constructed into a pFastBacDual vector under polyhedron (PH) and p10 promoters, respectively. The constructed dual recombinant plasmid (pFbDGCRVs8/eGFP) was transformed into DH10Bac cells to obtain recombinant Bacmid (AcGCRVs8/eGFP) by transposition. Finally, the recombinant bacluovirus (vAcGCRVs8/eGFP) was obtained from transfected Sf9 insect cells. The green fluorescence that was expressed by transfected Sf9 cells was initially observed 3 days post transfection, and gradually enhanced and extended around 5days culture in P1(Passage1) stock. The stable high level expression of recombinant protein was observed in P2 and subsequent passage budding virus (BV) stock. Additionally, PCR amplification from P1 and amplified P2 BV stock further confirmed the validity of the dual-recombinant baculovirus. Our results provide a foundation for expression and assembly of the GCRV structural protein in vitro.

Objective To explore the correlation of single nucleotide polymorphism ( SNP ) in Nrf2 gene with acute mountain sickness ( AMS) among Han populations in China .Methods As a nested case-control study , 603 Chinese Han young men who had been quickly exposed to 3700 m were adopted and divided into case group and control group ( 369 vs 234,respectively) by Lake Louise Self-assessment Scoring System(LLSS).The Sequenom Mass Array system was used to detect the SNPs of rs10497511 and rs2364722 in Nrf2 gene. Results Alleles of rs10497511 and rs2364722 were respec-tively detected in both case and control groups , which were T-C and A-G.Statistically significant difference was not found in allele frequencies ( P>0.05 ) .Further analysis showed that there was still no significant difference between the codomi -nant, dominant and recessive genotype models (P>0.05).Conclusion rs10497511 and rs2364722 of Nrf2 gene may not be related to susceptibility to AMS in Chinese Han populations .

OBJECTIVETo investigate the occurrence and associated factors for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in rescuers and firefighters.
METHODSThe PTSD of 264 rescuers and firefighters who had participated in rescue was evaluated using the self-designed fireman general situation questionnaire and PTSD Checklist-Civilian Version (PCL-C). The factors associated with the occurrence of PTSD were also analyzed.
RESULTSThe incidence rate of PTSD in the subjects was 8.3%. The PTSD rate of special service corps (12%) was significantly higher than that of other subjects (P<0.05). The incidence of PTSD was highest in the rescuers and firefighters above the third rank, but without significant differences (P>0.05). The PTSD rate of married rescuers and firefighters was significantly higher than that of unmarried subjects (P<0.05). The PTSD rate of subjects addicted to drinking was significantly higher than that of non-drinking subjects (P<0.05). Subjects with more frequent attendance were more susceptible to PTSD compared with those with less attendance.
CONCLUSIONThe incidence rate of PTSD is high in rescuers and firefighters who have attended rescues. It is necessary to implement both short-term and long-term counseling programs for stress management and intervention in order to reduce the psychological trauma after rescue and improve the mental health of rescuers and firefighters.
