Objective To investigate the effect and safety of urinary kallidinogenase on acute cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and sixty-four patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group with urinary kallidinogenase(86 cases)and control group (78 cases).According to Chinese guidelines for prevention and management cerebrovascular disease, two groups were treated with basic therapy, such as antiplatelet, neurologic protection, blood pressure control, and so on.On basis of control group, treatment group Was administrated intravenous injection of urinary kallidinogenase 0.15 PNA U per day for 10 days. The primary efficacy Was evaluated by the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score and Barthel index. Results The score of NIHSS and Barthel index at 15 days after treatment in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group[(6.67±3.02)scores vs(7.42±3.02)scores;75.36±23.56 vs 68.36±22.36,P<0.05].Urinary kallidinogenase could significantly reduce neurological deficits in big artherosclerosis type by TOAST typing. Conclusion Urinary kallidinogenase may be effective and safe in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(07):-
Objective:To investigate effects of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the kidney and their combination before and after exercise on relative indexes of metabolism of glucose and amino acids. Methods:Strengthening the spleen alone, tonifying the kidney alone or their combination before and after exercise was given to the rat receiving 7-week gradually increasing load exercise on a running platform, and after quantitative load, contents of serum lactic acid, urea nitrogen, glucose, hepatic glycogen, muscle glycogen, hemoglobin, and malondialdehyde(MDA)in renal tissue and activity of superoxide dismulase(SOD)in the renal tissue were determined. Results:Strengthening the spleen before exercise increased hepatic and muscle glycogen contents, and tonifying the kidney before exercise increased muscle glycogen content, and strengthening the spleen combined with tonifying the kidney before and after exercise increased hemoglobin level, strengthening the spleen followed by tonifying the kidney before exercise decreased serum lactic acid and urea nitrogen levels, increased muscle glycogen content and SOD activity/MDA content ratio in the kidney. Conclusion:Strengthening the spleen and tonifying the kidney play a certain role in reducing motion-related fatigue, while strengthening the spleen followed by tonifying the kidney before exercise has the best results.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of different root canal irrigants and cements on coronal microleakage and the interaction effects after cementing metal post-cores.
METHODSNinety newly extracted single-rooted mandibular human premolars were endodontically treated. Post spaces were prepared in the root canals, and Co-Cr post-cores were cast routinely. The specimens were randomly divided into six groups (n = 15) via a two-way factorial design method. The irrigant factors (A) included A1: no irrigant (75% alcohol wiping), A2: 3% H2O2 + 0.9% NaCl, and A3: 15% ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) + 5.25% NaClO. The cement factors (B) included B1: zinc polycarboxylate cement, and B2: glass ionomer cement. The specimens received treatments based on the grouping of A1B1, A1B2, A2B1, A2B2, A3B1, and A3B2. All samples were sectioned longitudinally after being immersed in India ink for three weeks. The microleakages were observed using a stereomicroscope. The SPSS 13.0 software package was used for factorial analysis.
RESULTSThe mean microleakage scores and standard deviations were as follows: Group A1BI: (1,192.59 +/- 417.84) microm, Group A1B2: (1,317.38 +/- 527.35) microm, Group A2B1: (1,429.33 +/- 482.68) microm, Group A2B2: (1,026.79 +/- 459.49) microm, Group A3B1: (1,448.29 +/- 561.02) microm, and Group A3B2: (1,922.47 +/- 678.86) microm. The A2B2 group showed minimum microleakage, whereas the A3B2 group showed maximum microleakage. The microleakage degrees among different irrigants presented significant statistical difference (P < 0.05), but the two cements showed no significant difference (P > 0.05). An interactive effect on the microleakage existed between the irrigants and the cements after cementing the metal post-cores (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONWhen cementing metal post-cores, the coronal microleakage following 3% H2O2 + 0.9% NaCl irrigation combined with glass ionomer cement can be reduced. The combined application of 15% EDTA + 5.25% NaClO and glass ionomer cement significantly aggravates microleakage.

Physiology course has become an important teaching part of non-medical professions in medical colleges, but there are no normative teaching textbooks and the corresponding teaching syllabus for these non-medical professions, which causes teaching contents chaos and affects the teaching effect.According to their attributes and characteristics, the research group explores continuously the physiology teaching contents suitable for non-medical professions, pays attention to contents settings which are common-sense,practical,systematic and flexible,in order to promote physiology teaching development in non-medical professions.

Objective To investigate the rehabilitation therapeutic effect of Super-Lizer on the early chronicity strain carpal tunnel syndrome by lassitude. Methods Ninety-eight carpal tunnel syndrome patients were randomly divided into therapeutic group (53 cases) and control group (45 cases). The control group was treated with brake and rest on wrist joint. The therapeutic group was treated with Super-Lizer plus wrist brace in neutral position brake and rest in run-up position on wrist joint. The changes of clinical symptom, feeling, muscle power and electromyography in the hands after 2 weeks were detected. Then the results were analyzed. Results The clinical symptom, feeling, muscle power and electromyography in the hands of two groups were obviously improved after treatment, the therapeutic group significantly better than the control group in motor nerve conduction resume(P < 0.05 ). The cure and efficiency rate of the therapeutic group was 81.13%(43/53),the cure and efficiency rate of the control group was 57.78%(26/45),there was significantly better between two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion The rehabilitation therapeutic effect of Super-Lizer on the early chronicity strain carpal tunnel syndrome is remarkable, worthy of clinical application.

2h.The shape of bacterium was changed by amikacin from sphero-rhabditiform to dolicho-rhabditiform,while by ceftriaxone changed from rhabditiform to long-chain-form or filament-form.Conclusion The capability of ceftriaxone-induced release of endotoxin from Escherichia coli is significantly stronger than that of amikacin, and the morphologic changes of bacteria caused by ceftriaxone were more significant. For clinical treatmentg of infectious diseases the first dosage of medication should increase to reach the effective bactericidal concentration but not the bacteriostasis concentration in order to receive better therapeutic effects.
