Depression is one of the most common mental disorders.Since 1960s,researchers have proposed a number of etiological hypotheses from the aspects of genetics,biochemistry,neuroendocrine and immune,but so far it has not been fully under-stood.Toll like receptor 4(TLR4),as a bridge between innate immunity and adaptive immunity,could induce inflammatory by activating related signal transduction pathways and promoting the expression of inflammatory factors in c-ells.More and more studies showed that the occurrence of depression was related to inflammation.Reviewing relationship of TLR4 and depressive disorder and exploring the effects of some interventions for depression on TLR4.Research on TLR4 shed light on pathological mechanism of depressive order.TLR4 could play an important role in inhibiting the production of 5-serotonin,the disorders of HPA axis,interfering with the hippocampus and cortical nerve regeneration,the autophagy of hippocampus.

The systemic anaphylaxis murine model was induced by the injection of oval albumin (OVA)in aluminum hydroxide gel adjuvant. The death rate varied with the mouse species: 40-90% in Swiss and 69% in average,no death in C57BL/6 and 615 but some symptoms. developed. Objective To observe the change of expression of inwardly rectifying K+(Kir)2.3 mRNA and protein of Kir in the hippocampus of rats with chronic temporal lobe epilepsy(TLE)in different time points and the effect of Tenidap a Kir2.3 channel opener on its expression,investigate the relationship between Kir2.3 and the pathogenesis of TLE and to explore the potential of Kir agonists as anti-epileptic drugs.Methods The pilocarpine TLE rat model was used.Animals were randomly assigned to the control or the status epilepticus(SE)groups,which were further divided into four time point subgroups consisting of 0.6,72 hours,and 2 weeks post-SE termination.Another subgroup was given Tenidap,a Kir2.3 channel opener,and tested 2 weeks post-SE.Hippoeampi were removed and the expression of Kir2.3 mRNA and protein at different time points was measured by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and western blotting.Results The ratios of Kir2.3 mRNA and β-actin in normal control and 0,6,72hours and 2 weeks after SE termination were 0.080±0.030,0.103±0.045,0.164±0.026,0.132±0.024.0.011±0.008,respectively(F=23.684,P<0.01).The ratios of Kir2.3 protein and GAPDH in propotional groups were0.305±0.030,0.263±0.028,0.767±0.167,0.498±0.077,0.176±0.026(F=44.183.P<0.05).The expression of Kir2.3 channel in the epileptic rats was bimodal,increasing immediately after SE,relative to controls,and declining in the chronically epileptic period.Tenidap administration upregulated both the mRNA(0.021±0.006)and protein expression(0.636±0.140) of Kir2.3(F=25.216 and 47.355,P<0.05 and 0.01).Condusion These findings suggest that the pathogenesis of TLE is accompanied by a decrease in Kit2.3 expression,which may be ameliorated by the administration of tenidap.

Objective To evaluate the value of CK34?E12,p63 and P504S immunostaining in diag- nosis of benign and malignant lesions of the prostate.Methods Expression of CK34?E12,p63 and P504S in 74 benign and malignant lesions of prostate,including 27 PC,6 HGPIN,10 LGPIN,3 AAH and 28 BPH were observed by immunohistochemical method.Results Expression of p63 and CK34?E12 were positive in AAH,LGPIN and BPH,all of PC were negative,the positive rate of HGPIN was 83.3%(5/6).There were sig- nificant differences in p63 and CK34?E12 expression between PC and AAH,HGPIN,LGPIN,BPH(P

Objective To compare the difference of early optic nerve damage and visual field defect between primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG).Design Prospective case series.Participants 30 eyes of 23 patients with early POAG and 30 eyes of 22 patients with early PACG were recruited.Methods Routine ophthalmologic exams,visual field (Humphrey Field Analysis 24-2),scanning laser polarimetry GDx ECC(Full Exam)were performed.Different types of RNFLD and GDx ECC parameters were compared between the two groups through X square-test and independent samples t-test,respectively.Both the intra-group globe visual indices and retinal sensitivity loss of each illumination target were compared with independent samples t-test. Main Outcome Measure GDx ECC parameters,types of RNFLD,visual indices and retinal sensitivity loss of each illumination target. Results Significant differences in all GDx ECC parameters of the two groups were found except Superior Average and Symmetry.In GDx ECC reports,diffuse RNFLD in POAG and PACG were 40% and 10%,respectively(P＜0.05),while localized RNFLD were 53% and 63%,respectively.The differences of PSD and CPSD between groups were significant.More localized retinal sensitivity loss in the superiotemporal visual field in PACG were found.Conclusion The diffuse RNFL damage of early POAG is more than that of PACG. Differences between POAG and PACG in retinal sensitivity loss of the superiotemporal visual field are found,which are consistent with the RNFL damages.The pattern of RNFL damage and the visual field defects are different both functionally and structurally,which may give insight into the different etiologies of POAG and PACG.

Objective To understand clinical distribution and antimicrobial resistance characteristics of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa)isolated from hospitalized patients, so as to provide reference for the empiric use of antimicrobial agents and control of healthcare-associated infection(HAI).Methods Clinical distribution and antimicrobial susceptibility testing results of P.aeruginosaisolated from patients in a hospital between 2012 and 2016 were analyzed retrospectively, statistical analysis were conducted based on different wards, specimen types and age groups.Results A total of 2 432 strains of P.aeruginosa were isolated from2012 to 2016, most of which were isolated from intensive care unit(ICU)(n=727, 29.89％), the main specimen was sputum(n=2 064, 84.87％). Resistance rates of P.aeruginosa to other antimicrobial agents except piperacillin/tazobactam in each year from 2012 to 2016 were significantly different(all P＜0.05).Resistance to piperacillin, ceftazidime, cefepime, imipenem, meropenem, levofloxacin, and ciprofloxacin decreased after peaked in2014;resistance rates to amikacin, gentamicin, and tobramycin were all low, showing decreased trend year by year(all P＜0.05).Except resistance rates to cefepime and tobramycin, resistance rates of P.aeruginosafrom sputum specimen were all higher than other specimens(all P＜0.05).Resistance rates of P.aeruginosaisolated from patients aged≥65 years to most antimicrobial agents were significantly higher than those isolated from patients aged＜65 years(all P＜0.05).Except resistance rates to gentamicin and tobramycin, resistance rates of P.aeruginosaisolated from ICU were higher than those isolated from other departments, which were 7.71％-66.02％.Resistance rate of P.aeruginosaisolated from department of surgery were relatively low, which were 1.69％-11.86％.Conclusion Clinical distribution of antimicrobial resistance of P.aeruginosais obviously heterogeneity, empiric antimicrobial use and formulation of HAI monitoring measures should be based on the data of antimicrobial resistance in different wards, different infection sites, and different age.
