Tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloids distributed widely in the nature and some have a broad application in clinic. More attention has been paid in recent years on this type of alkaloid, owing to the diverse range of biological activities exhibited by these alkaloids and the discovery of new functional mechanisms and molecular targets underlying these activities. This article summarized the recent advances in the biological activities and functional mechanism of tetrahydroisoquinoline, which included the activities such as antitumor, antibiotic, antivirus, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulation, bronchodilation, and the action on central nervous system, with the purpose of providing some ideas in the study of biological activity of this type of alkaloid and in the search for lead-compound and rational drug design.

4.Clinical observation of the application of intraoperative mitomycin C and TobraDex ophthalmic ointment in transcanalicular laser-assisted dacryocystoplasty
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of intraoperative mitomycin C(MMC) and TobraDex ophthalmic ointment(TDO) in transcanalicular Nd:YAG laser assisted dacryocystoplasty(LDCL). Methods A total of 204 patients (246 eyes) with lacrimal duct obstruction were divided into four groups: group treated with MMC, group treated with TDO, group treated with MCC plus TDO and control. Prospective control study was conducted. Results The healing rates of three drug groups were 88.7%, 88.6%, 89.5%, respectively, significantly higher than that of the control group (73.1) ( P
5.KTP-Nd: YAG laser-assisted dacryocystoplasty for lacrimal duct obstruction
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(07):-
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of KTP Nd: YAG laser assisted dacryocystoplasty for lacrimal duct obstruction. Methods Specially made hollow lacrimal probe was used to examine the lacrimal ducts to the obstructed parts in a total of 827 eyes. Then KTP laser fibers were inserted into the lacrimal ducts to dredge the obstructed parts by laser. Instillation of different drugs or short term placement of lacrimal supporters was conducted after operation according to the symptoms such as degree of obstruction and with discharges or not. Results The cure rate, improvement rate, and ineffectiveness rate were 93.5%, 5.5%, and 1%, respectively. One therapy was conducted in 562 eyes, twice in 191 eyes. Conclusion KTP Nd: YAG laser assisted dacryocystoplasty is a safe and effective way for the treatment of lacrimal obstruction. Postoperative drug instillation or short term placement of lacrimal supporter can contribute to the clinical outcomes.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2012;28(4):316-319
French hospital administrators have undergone several changes to meet the needs of economic and social development, resulting in the pattern of hospital administration by both the central government and regional organizations. This paper made descriptions and analysis of the French hospital administrators and came up with the following insights:Making public hospitals as the main health service provider benefits provision of public services; public and private hospitals can jointly meet public service needs under government regulation; the government should focus on controlling health care resources;medical service system needs an overall policy guidance; hospital management organizations should streamline in the reform.

Chinese Journal of Virology 2014;30(4):391-395
This study aimed to investigate viral infections and the prevalence of influenza-like illness (ILI) in Shijiazhuang, China, in 2011 and to provide a scientific basis for the diagnosis and control of respiratory tract infections. Throat swab specimens were collected from 483 cases of ILI who were outpatients in the influenza surveillance sentinel hospitals in Shijiazhuang between January and December 2011. All specimens were examined by multiplex RT-PCR for the following 15 respiratory tract viruses: adenovirus (ADV), human rhinovirus (HRV), human parainfluenza virus (PIV types 1-4), influenza virus A (FluA), influenza virus B (FluB), human enterovirus (HEV), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV-A and -B), human metapneumovirus (HMPV), human coronavirus (HCoV-229E/NL63 and -OC43/HKU1), and human bocavirus (HBoV). Among the 483 cases of ILI, 214 (44.31%) were positive for viruses, including ADV (8.7%), HEV (8.7%), RSV-A (8.07%), HRV (7.45%), FluA (5.38%), HCoV-OC43/ HKU1 (2.9%), PIV-3 (2.9%), HMPV (1.86%), PIV-1 (1.24%), HCoV-229E/NL63 (1.04%), PIV-2 (1.04%), HBoV (0.83%), and FluB (0.41%). Twenty-six (5.38%) of all cases were co-infected with two or more viruses, most commonly HEV/HRV with other viruses. Cases of viral infection were detected throughout the year, with peaks in January and February. ADV and HRV were detected throughout almost the whole year without obvious seasonality. HEV was detected between April and November, with a peak of prevalence in summer and autumn. FluA and FluB reached epidemic levels mainly in winter and spring. All cases of RSV were identified to be subtype A. PIV infection was mainly caused by PIV-3. The positive rate of HCoV-OC43/HKU1 infection was significantly higher than that of HCoV-229E/NL63. The leading five viruses that resulted in ILI Shijiazhuang in 2011 were HEV, ADV, RSV-A, HRV, and FluA, and these viruses have different epidemiological features.
