OBJECTIVE:To explore the inhibitory effects and mechanism of Rhizoma Sparganii and Rhizoma Curcumae on the angiogenesis of new granulation tissue in sponge.METHODS:The experimental endometriosis in female rats was established with sponge implantation.The effects of Rhizoma Sparganii and Rhizoma Curcumae on the angiogenesis of new granulation tissue in sponge were observed after intragastric medication for 2 consecutive weeks.The staining of endothelial cell specific Ⅷ factor and vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF) was carried out by immunohistochemistry method.The expression of VEGF mRNA was detected by RT-PCR assay.RESULTS:In rats receiving high dosage of Rhizoma Sparganii and Rhizoma Curcumae(SC),the area of new granulation tissue in sponge,the number of blood vessels,the expression of VE-GF and VEGF mRNA were all significantly lower than in model group(P

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the necessity and strategies to establish credibility in drug retailing stores.METHO- DS:The general meaning of credibility and its particular meaning in medicine were explained.The significance of establishing credibility in drug stores was analyzed,and the relevant strategies were suggested.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:Now in the vigorous market competition, only through establishing credibility can drug stores survive and develop.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the construction of suitable evaluation index system for the implementation of National Essential Medicine System in community health service center.METHODS:The frame of evaluation index system was designed by theoretical analysis,literature study and expert interviews methods.Delphi method was used to establish evaluation index system for National Essential Medicine System in Shanghai community health service center.Analytic hierarchy process was adopted to determine the weights of indicators at all levels.RESULTS:The positive coefficients of the two rounds consultations were 88.24％ (15/17) and 86.67％ (13/15).The authority coefficient of structural index,processing index and result index in the first round consultation were 0.68,0.68 and 0.69,respectively,which showed that the authority degree was higher.The coefficient of concordance in the second round consultation was higher than the first round (the indexes of structure,process and result in two rounds consultation were 0.286,0.306,0.193 and 0.345,0.358,0.337,respectively),which indicated the expert opinions were highly consistent.Established evaluation index system consisted of 3 fiust-level indexes,13 second-level indexes and 27 third-level indexes.CONCLUSIONS:The selected experts were representative,the consultation results were reliable,established evaluation index system was rational and the setting of weights was scientific.Also this study was a methodological exploration.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the therapeutic effect of Chinese herbal compounds Zhiganle on fatty liver induced by high-cholesterol high fat diet in rats and the action mechanism.METHODS:Wistar rats were randomized into 6 groups:normal group,model group,Dongbao gantai group,ZGL groups(high,middle,and low doses).Except the normal group,the other 5 groups of rats were administered with high-cholesterol high fat diet for 12 weeks.On week 13,the ZGL groups were administered intragastrically with Zhiganle(1.5,3.0,4.5 g?kg-1) and rats in Dongbao gantai group with Dongbao gantai(0.3 g?kg-1) qd for 12 consecutive weeks.The hematological indexes were measured and the pathological change in rats was observed.RESULTS:In ZGL groups,serum levels of total cholesterol(T-CH) and triglyceride(TG) and the MDA level in liver were decreased significantly(P

To set up rat myocardial infarction model and to investigate significance of fragmented QRS wave in rat myocardial infarction model.40 rats were divided into sham-operated group and myocardial infarction group, these two sets of rats received surgeries under the same conditions.Myocardial infarction models were induced by opening chest and anterior descending branch of coronary artery deligation for rats.Rats in sham-operated group were only threaded without deligation.Recorded the electrocardiogram(ECG) during 10, 60 min and 4 weeks after the deligation(or threading) and analyzed the change rules of the fragmented QRS waves and Q waves.Tissue samples from myocardial infarction area were collected for HE staining 4 weeks after the surgery.The frequency of fragmented QRS wave in myocardial infarction group was significantly increased during 10, 60 min and at 4 weeks after the operation compared with sham-operated group(P<0.01).Myocardial cells of some models in myocardial infarction group arranged in disorder and showed vacuolation according to results of HE staining.By setting up rat myocardial infarction model, we can draw a conclusion that fragmented QRS wave can be used as a new indicator to diagnose acute myocardial infarction and old myocardial infarction predict the severity of the disease.

ObjectiveTo compare the efficacies between conventional acupuncture plus acupoint application and conventional acupuncture plus TDP in treating dysmenorrhea due to blood stagnation led by cold.MethodSixty patients were randomized into two groups, 31 cases in the treatment group and 29 cases in the control group. The treatment group was intervened by conventional acupuncture plus acupoint application, while the control group was by conventional acupuncture plus TDP. Before and after the intervention, McGill Pain Questionnaire was adopted to compare the Pain Rating Index (PRI) score, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score, and Present Pain Index (PPI) score, and the therapeutic efficacy was also compared.ResultThe recovery rate was 58.1% in the treatment group, significantly higher than 24.1% in the control group (P<0.01); the total effective rate was 90.3% in the treatment group, significantly higher than 62.1% in the control group (P<0.01), indicating that the therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group. Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in comparing the PRI, VAS, and PPI scores between the two groups (P>0.05), suggesting the comparability. After the intervention, there were significant differences in comparing the PRI, VAS, and PPI scores between the two groups (P<0.05), and the PRI, VAS, and PPI scores were markedly decreased in the treatment group.ConclusionConventional acupuncture plus acupoint application can improve dysmenorrhea symptoms and reduce patient’s pain, and can produce a more significant efficacy compared with conventional acupuncture plus TDP.

Objective To investigate the correlation between KLF14 gene rs4731702 locus polymorphism and gestational diabe-tes mellitus (GDM) and relation between its different genotypes with BMI and insulin resistance.Methods This study adopted the case-control method.One hundred pregnant women of GDM (GDM group) and one hundred healthy pregnant women (normal con-trol group) were randomly selected as the research subjects and performed the physical examination ,biochemical indicators detec-tion.HOMA-IR and HOMA-β were calculated.The polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was adopted.The genotyping of KLF14 gene rs4731702 locus in the two groups was performed.The genotypes and allele gene frequency were compared between the two groups and the GDM association analysis was conducted.Results The C alleles fre-quency and CC genotype frequency of KLF14 gene rs4731702 locus in the GDM group was significantly higher than that in the con-trol group ,the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05).The patients with genotype CC in the GDM group had higher BMI ,FPG ,TG ,HbA1c and HOMA-IR as compared with those carrying genotype CT and TT ,the difference was statistically signif-icant(P<0.05).Also they had lower FINS ,HDL and HOMA-βas compared with carriers of genotype CT and TT ,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The multivariate analysis showed that the genotype CC of KLF14 gene rs4731702 locus was closely related with GDM (P=0.005 ,RR=25.128).Conclusion The genotype CC of KLF14 gene rs4731702 locus plays a role in the pathogenesis process of GDM ,may be susceptibility genes for GDM ,which is also related to the abnormal lipid metabolism ,islet dysfunction and obesity.The polymorphism study of KLF14 gene rs4731702 locus helps to reveal the relation between lipid metabo-lism abnormality and insulin resistance with GDM onset.
