With the understanding of tumor metabolism, the process and mechanism of tumor metabolic reprogramming gradually attracted much attention in recent years.Oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes are constantly changing the pathway and flux of tumor metabolism in tumorigenesis to meet the needs of tumor growth and proliferation. The role of c-MYC, TP53, HIF-1αas well as the related signal pathways in tumor metabolic reprogramming would be discussed.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(19):2593-2594
Objective To study the levels of interleukin(IL)-2 ,interferon-γ(IFN-γ) and IL-10 in peripheral blood and the effec-tive concentration of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) in serum of patients with acute leukemia .Methods 65 patients with acute leuke-mia were divided into non-remission group(n=35) and remission group(n=30) .50 healthy volunteers were used as control group . The levels of IL-2 ,IFN-γ ,IL-10 in peripheral blood were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) .The effective concentration of LDH was measured by automatic biochemical analyzer .Results The levels of IL-2 ,IFN-γin non-remission group were significantly decreased compared with control group and remission group(P<0 .05) ,but the level of IL-10 in non-remission group was significantly increased compared with control group and remission group(P<0 .05) .The effective concentration of LDH in non-remission group was significantly higher than that in control group or remission group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The levels of IL-2 ,IFN-γand IL-10 in peripheral blood and the effective concentration of LDH in serum of patients with acute leukemia have changed .Clinical detection of IL-2 ,IFN-γ,IL-10 and LDH may contribute to the early diagnosis of patients with acute leukemia .

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(13):1686-1688
Objective To analyze and monitor the distribution of EBSLs-producing E.coli in our hospital and its resistance to commonly used antibacterial drugs. Methods The drug sensitivity test results of E.coli cultured in our hospital from 2008 to 2011 were continuously observed and performed the summary and the descriptive analysis. Results The detection rate of EBSLs-produ-cing E.coli during these 4 years was more than 50%.The generation rate of ESBLs-producing E.coli from the pharyngeal swab samples was the highest. The drug resistance of EBSLs-producing E.coli was mostly higher than that of non-EBSLs-producing E. coli, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).EBSLs-producing E.Coli showed the multi-drug resistant phenomenon. But the resistance rate of EBSLs-producing E.Coli to some antimicrobial drugs had the decreasing tendency year by year. Conclusion The drug-resistance situation of ESBLs-producing E.Coli is serious. The diceovered carbapenems-resistance ESBLs-producing E. Coli should cause the concern. The antibacterial drugs with increased drug-resistance rate should be replaced by the antibacterial drugs with the gradually decreased drug resistance rate.Strengthening the bacterial drug resistance minitoring can timely discover the change trend of clinically isolated bacteria and has the improtant significance to provide reference for clinically empirical medica-tion.

Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;(3):114-115,118
Objective To explore the clinical effects of atomization inhalation pulmicort respules in treatment with pediatric acute infectious laryngitis. Methods 104 cases with pediatric acute infectious laryngitis admitted in Xiaoshan Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 2011 to July 2013 were radomly divided into experimental group(n=52)and control group(n=52). Patients in experimental group were given atomization inhalation pulmicort respules, and patients in control group were received dexamethasone by intravenous injection. The symptom improvement, disappearing times of symptoms and therapeutic effect in two groups were observed and compared. Results Compared with control group, the improvement scores were higher, and disappearing time of symptoms were shorter in experiment group(P<0.05). The therapeutic effect in experimental group was up to 100%, while control group was 90.74%,and the difference between them was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with dexamethasone, atomization inhalation pulmicort respules has advantages in treatment with pediatric acute infectious laryngitis, with better efficacy, shorter treatment time and fewer side effects.

The pancreatic tissues from patients with islet cell hyperplasia, insulinoma, and pancreatic adenocarcinoma,as well as normal pancreatic tissues were embedded with paraffin, serial sections were cut and mounted on glass slides.Immunohistochemical staining was carried out with N-myc down-stream regulated gene 2 (Ndrg2) monoclonal antibody by means of ABC method, and Western blotting was carried out to detect the expression and distribution of Ndrg2.The results showed that Ndrg2 positive immunoreactivity was mainly localized in the cytoplasm of islet cell, being similar to the localization of insulin positive immunoreactivity. The number and volume of pancreatic islets were increased in the patients with islet cell hyperplasia, and Ndrg2 expression was also increased.Western blotting results showed that the expression of Ndrg2 in the pancreas of patients with islet cell hyperplasia was increased compared with normal group. The above results suggest that Ndrg2 may play an important role in performing physiological function of islet cells.
