1.Prediction biomarkers for bronchopulmonary dysplasia in preterm infants
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(1):29-32
Bronchopulmonary dysplasia remains the most common severe complication of preterm in-fants,affecting the quality of life in preterm children seriously. There is no specific or effective treatment availa-ble to date for BPD. Since the aetiopathogenesis of BPD is multifactorial, involving diverse molecular signaling pathways,a variety of biomarkers detected in biological fluids have been proposed for early identification of in-fants predisposed to BPD.

In this paper, we described that using wistar rat rather than Lewis rat, an animal model ofexperimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) was established. 12 out of 17 rats showedtypical clinical syndroms and pathological changes, and also developed significant delayed-typeskin hypersen-sitivity reaction to the pathogenic antigen-homogenate of guinea pig spinal cord. The cytotoxicity assay demonstrated that the T-cells of EAE rats can specifically lyse the braintissue of normal rats with specific release rate of 15.1l?t 2.79% which is positive correlativewith clinical severity of EAE. The T cell vaccine was prepared by activating EAE T-cells withConA and then treating with glutaraldehyde. Normal rats were inoculated with this T cell vac-cine and challenged with pathogenic antigen one week later. The result showed that all seven ratsgot complete resistance to EAE. T cells from vaccinated animals can specifically lyse the EAE Tcells with specific release rate of 9.38?1.68%.These results indicated: (a)wistar rat can be used for EAE animal model; (b)The incidence ofEAE is associa ted with the auto-reactive T cellsof EAE animals; (c)Inocula tion of this T cellvaccines can prevent the development of EAE, and this protective effect is also mediated by Tcells.

Objective:To study the dissolution behavior of panax notoginseng saponins R1 , ginseng saponin Rg1 and ginseng sapo-nin Rb1 in Xuesaitong soft capsules in two different dissolution media. Methods:The dissolution test conditions were confirmed accord-ing to“quality of medical drugs information set” of Japan and the dissolution media were chosen in accordance with the physicochemi-cal properties of Xuesaitong soft capsules, the in vitro dissolution of Xuesaitong soft capsules was inspected respectively in pH 6. 8 phosphate buffer and water. The dissolution rate was determined by HPLC-ELSD, and the similarity of the release curves for the three components was compared with similarity factors ( f2 ) method. Results: The assay displayed a good linearity over the concentration range of 0. 8-16. 0 mg·L-1(r=0. 999 6), 3. 0-60. 0 mg·L-1(r=0. 999 8) and 4. 0-80. 0 mg·L-1(r=0. 999 7) for panax notog-inseng saponins R1 , ginseng saponin Rg1 and ginseng saponin Rb1 , respectively. In pH 6. 8 phosphate buffer and water, f2 of ginseng saponin Rg1 and ginseng saponin Rb1 were both above 50 when compared with panax notoginseng saponins R1 . Conclusion:The meth-od is simple, accurate and reproducible in the dissolution determination of the soft capsules. The dissolution of ginseng saponin Rg1 and ginseng saponin Rb1 has similar characteristics with that of panax notoginseng saponins R1 in Xuesaitong soft capsules.

Objective To compare the effect of emergency percutaneous transluminal coronanry angioplasty and thrombolytic therapy (PTCA) in acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods 52 cases of AMI were treated by emergency PTCA while 58 cases of AMI were treated by thrombolytic therapy, we then compared the clinical effect between two groups both in hospital and the follow-up period. Results In the emergency PTCA group, 3 cases died while 49 cases were successful (success rate 94.2%) and the average staying in hospital was 14.6 d. In this group the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVFT) was 45.5%?4.3%. During the follow-up period of 2~18 months, 3 cases of angina pectoris occurred again and 3 case accepted the treatment of selective PTCA in the emergency PTCA group. In the group of thrombolysis, 8 cases died while 50 cases were successful (the ratio of success rate 86.2%) and the average staying in hospital was 26.4 d. In this group the LVFT was 37.6?6.2. During the follow-up period of 2~18 months, 17 cases of angina pectoris occurred again and 17 cases accepted the treatment of selective PTCA in the thrombolysis group. Conclusion The infarct related arteries (IRA) can be revascularized with emergency PTCA in AMI. The treatment of emergency PTCA can reduce the ratio of sudden death and the days in-hospital ( P
