Objective To introduce cause-tracing technique in the static state of Qigong to enrich modem clinic psychotherapy. Methods Based on previous therapeutic experience, we reduced resistance from patients through interview.Then the cause of diseases was detected by analyzing implicit memory. Results Cause-tracing technique in the static state of Qigong could get important relevant information by excavating implicit memory. It was a cause-tracing method characterized by low-resistance and high-speed. Conclusion Cause-tracing technique in the static state of Qigong had great clinical value.

According to the points and difficulties of aminophylline monitoring experiments, oriented by problems, specific teaching case was designed to practice case teaching. The analysis of the results of classroom performance, teaching effect evaluation, peer evaluation and students' feedback showed that case teaching promoted the initiatives of students' learning as well as improved the teaching effect compared with the traditional teaching method. Furthermore, it improved their clinical thinking ability through theory and practical cases and helped the teachers to learn while teaching.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of sevoflurane postconditioning on myocardial neutrophil infiltration in patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement under cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB).Methods Twenty-four ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients (NYHA Ⅱ or Ⅲ ) of both sexes aged 20-50 yr with BMI of 19-25 kg/m2 undergoing cardiac valve replacement under CPB were randomly divided into 2 groups ( n =12 each):group control (group C) and group sevoflurane postconditioning (group S).Anesthesia was induced with midazolam,fentanyl,etomidate and rocuronium and maintained with iv infusion of fentanyl,midazolam and vecuronium.The patients were intubated and mechanically ventilated (VT 8-10 ml/kg,RR 10-14 bpm,I∶E 1∶2,FiO2 100％ ).PETCO2 was maintained at 35-40 mm Hg.In group S sevoflurane was inhaled immediately after aorta and vena cava were unclamped.The end-tidal sevoflurane concentration was maintained at 1.7％ for 5 min.Arterial blood samples were collected before surgery and at 1,2 and 4 h after aortic unclamping for determination of plasma cardiac troponin T concentration.Myocardial specimens were obtained from right auricular appendage after opening of pericardium and at 1 h after aortic unclamping for microscopic examination and determination of myocardial myeloperoxidase expression.ResultsSevoflurane postconditioning significantly decreased plasma cardiac troponin T concentration and myocardial myeloperoxidase expression and ameliorated histo-pathological damage in group S as compared with group C.ConclusionMyocardial neutrophil infiltration is involved in the protective effect of sevoflurane postconditioning against myocardial injury in patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement under CPB.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of sleep regulation technique of thought imprint psychotherapy in lower resistant state (TIP) for the treatment of primary insomnia.Methods 45 hospitalized outpatients with primary insomnia from sleep medical clinic of Guang'anmen Hospital were randomized at a 2 ∶ 1 ratio into a therapy group and a control group using random table.In the therapy group,patients received sleep regudation technique of TIP twice per week.In the control group,patients were asked to take zopiclone 3.75mg per night 30 minutes before bedtime.And the maximum dose can be 7.5mg according to their condition.The treatment lasted one month.Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) was used to assess sleep quality.Results ① After 4 weeks treatment,the clinical efficacy showed significant difference between the two groups (therapy group was 80％,control group was 33.3％).② Inner group comparison:therapy group was significantly improved in PSQI sleep quality (1.20 ± 0.71),sleep latency(1.53 ±1.01),sleep time(1.23 ±0.82),sleep efficiency(0.90±1.21),sleep disorders (1.30±0.65),sleep medication(0.13±1.36),daytime function (1.67±0.99),total score(8.30±3.19),(P＜0.05); the control group was significantly improved in the PSQI sleep quality(1.60±0.91),sleep latency(1.87±0.64),(P＜0.05).③ Inter group comparison:after treatment,compared to the control group,the therapy group was superior in the sleep latency,sleep time,sleep efficiency,sleep medication,daytime function,and total score ofPSQI (P＜0.05).Conclusion Sleep regulation techmique of thought imprint psychotherapy in lower resistant state can improve sleep quality of primary insomniacs.

A Review: A concept of tissue adaptation to hypoxia (i. e. hypoxic preconditioning) was developed and its corresponding animal models were reproduced in 1966s. The methods of model reproduction in rat, rabbit, and mouse in particular and the main results are briefly introduced in this review. The tolerance to hypoxia of preconditioned animals is significantly increased. Regular changes in animals' behavior, neurophysiology, respiratory and circulatory physiology, neuron morphology in vivo and function of brain and spinal cord in vitro are briefly demonstrated. The protective effects in vivo and in vitro of homogenate extract taken from the brain of preconditioned animals, neurochemicals and molecular neurobiological alterations are briefly presented. The essence and significance of tissue adaptation to hypoxia/hypoxic preconditioning are discussed in the review in terms of evolution and practical implication.

BACKGROUND: More and more psychiatric problems require liaison consultation in specific clinical departments of general hospital.OBJECTIVE: To enhance the recognition of physicians in non-psychiatric departments on psychiatric illness by carrying on psychiatric liaison consultation in general hospital.DESIGN: Case analysis.SETTING: Department of Psychology in the affiliated hospital to Guangdong Medical College.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 154 inpatients for the consultation in Department of Psychology were selected in the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical College from April 2003 to April 2004, of either sex and different age and educational backgrounds.METHODS: It was to investigate the distributions of departments and diseases with consultation-liaison psychiatry (CLP) in general hospital in 154 cases based on statistics.RESULTS: Totally 154 cases were employed and were all in result analydepartments applying for consultation, the department of internal nedicine occupies the top, 57 cases (37.0%) involved, followed by department of emergency, with 26 cases (16.8%), department of infection, with 17 cases illness: The most common diseases in consultation were neurotic disorders due to brain disease (31.1%), psychiatric disorder (25.3%) and psychiatric disorder due to body disease (13.6%).CONCLUSION: Psychiatric problem happens in every clinical department of general hospital. It is necessary to enhance liaison psychiatric consultation in general hospital.

Objective To investigate the result and side effect of late course accelerated three-di-mensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) for esophageal carcinoma. Methods From July 2003 to March 2006, 55 patients with esophageal carcinoma receiving 3DCRT were randomly divided into late course accel-erated radiation group (group A, 27 patients) and conventional fractionation group (group B, 28 patients). The prescribed dose in group B was 64 -66 Gy, 2 Gy per fraction, 1 fraction per day, 5 fractions per week for about 6.5 weeks. Patients in group A received conventional fractionation irradiation for the first 4 weeks. Then the dose was increased to 3 Gy per fraction to a total dose of 67 -70 Gy. The treatment course in group A was about 6 weeks. The treatment response, acute site effects, 1-, 3-and 5-year local control rates and o-verall survival rates of the two groups were observed. Results In group A, 23 patients (85%) achievedcomplete response (CR) and 4(15%) achieved partial response (PR). While in group B, 16 patients (57%) achieved CR and 12(43%) achieved PR. The CR rate was significant higher in group A (χ~2 = 5.24,P=0.022). The 1-, 3-, 5-year local control rates were 85%, 54%, 54% in group A, and 70%, 56%, 33 % in group B (χ~2 = 0.68, P = 0.409), respectively. The 1 -,3-,5-year overall survival rates of the two groups were 81%, 37%, 29% and 61%, 39%, 23% (χ~2 = 0.06, P = O. 804), respectively. Both lo-cal control and overall survival were similar between the two groups. The incidences of acute radiation esoph-agitis in the two groups were similar (85% vs. 89% ;χ~2 =0. 00,P=0. 959), and the incidence of radiation pneumonitis was slightly higher in group A than in group B (67% vs 43% ;χ~2 =3.14,P =0.076). By the last follow up, 19 patients in group A and 21 in group B died. Among them, 10 in group A and 15 in group B died of local failure, while 7 in group A and 5 in group B died of metastasis. Conclusions When com-pared with conventional fractionation 3DCRT, late course accelerated 3DCRT for esophageal carcinoma can achieve better results in clinical response, though not in long-term local control or survival. The incidence of acute radiation esophagitis and pneumonitis is clinically acceptable.

Objective:To study the diagnostic and therapeutic value of open food challenge in children with cow ′s milk protein allergy.Methods:It is a retrospective analysis of 55 children with suspected cow′s milk protein allergy ( CMPA ) who attended the clinic of the pediatric gastroenterology department ,the First Hospital of Jilin University from March 2014 to March 2015.These children were fed by a mino acid based formulae ( AAF) for 2-4 weeks and then open food challenge ( OFC) test was performed.Those children who tested positive , were diagnosed as having CMPA.They were then fed with AAF for further 3 months and OFC was performed again.Then discusse the diagnostic and therapeutic value of open food challenge in children with cow ′s milk protein allergy.Results:Out of 55 CMPA suspected children ,52 tested positive with OFC yielding a positive rate of 94.55%.These 52 children were fed with AAF for further 3 months and then tested with OFC ,9 children tested positive yielding a positive rate of 17.30%.These 9 children were again fed with AAF for 3 months and then tested with OFC.This time 2 children tested positive yielding a positive rate of 3.85%.Con-clusion:Open food challenge teats are of great significance in the diagnosis of CMPA ,and evaluation of tolerance to cow′s milk protein ( CMP).
