s:Objective To investigate the critical value of neonatal coagulation and the normal reference range in clinical prac-tice,and make Value of the formulation of clinical treatment programs and prevention of neonatal blood coagulation disor-ders.Methods Collected neonatal specimens of 350 cases from January to June 2016 in the General Hospital Ningxia Medi-cal University, after birth with in 6h,the parameters of plasma coagulation:activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT)clotting time (TT)and fibrinogen (FIB).Made statistics and analysis of all critical information to improve the value of the cases after contact with the telephone registration of neonatology, and critical investigation occurred gestational age children value, birth weight, and critical analysis of the proportion of the value of the proj ect,the distribution of the disease, clinical response and so on.Results Compared with adults and children, four indexes of coagulation levels of newborn were significantly different (t=1.66~2.66,P<0.01),as well as preterm group and term group;additional chil-dren with severe and premature birth or low weight occurs critical the possibility of greater value, and the distribution of high APTT and low FIB profile occured in the most critical values, neonatal jaundice and severe pneumonia was a risk factor critical values outbreak.Overall clinical response rate was 33%,the“answer”and“non response group”in children with in-tracranial hemorrhage of digestive and tract, and the diagnosis rate of statistical results was no significance (χ2=36.68/39, P>0.05).The range of personal critical value of the newborn infant was intended to develop:PT(≤8 s and≥30 s),APTT (≤20 s and ≥90 s)and FIB(≤0.6 g/L and ≥10 g/L).Revised “response rate”,clinicians have increased attention com-pared with the previous increase, reducing the false critical value report incidence. Conclusion The indicators of neonatal co-agulation were different from the adults and children. For the establishment of neonatal blood coagulation parameters refer-ence range,on a regular basis to summary on the clinical data of blood coagulation critical value, and contribute to the devel-opment of suitable critical value standard, and improve the clinical comprehensive diagnosis and treatment level.

Understanding heart development at a molecular level is a prerequisite for uncovering the causes of congenital heart diseases .Such knowledge can also greatly benefit therapeutic approaches that try to enhance cardiac regeneration or that involve the differentiation of resident cardiac progenitor cells .Wnt proteins have been shown to play multiple roles dur-ing cardiac development .They are extracellular growth factors that activate different intracellular signaling branches .Here, we summarize our current understanding of how these factors affect different aspects of cardiogenesis , from early specifica-tion of cardiac progenitors to later developmental steps , such as remodeling processes .

In view of the status of "emphasis on medical treatment, neglecting education, lack of teaching positivity and low teaching management level" in teaching hospital at present,MBO was applied in the incentive mechanism of clinical teachers as a means, which aroused the teachers' positivity effectively, ensured the teaching quality, improved the teaching level of management and achieved significant results. It also made our medical activities, teaching and researching develop harmoniously.

Objective We sought to compare the ability of MEWS score,APACHE Ⅱ score and combination of the two scoring systems to predict the prognosis of patients in emergency medical department. Methods During January to March 2014,640 patients in emergency medical department who met the criteria were set as the research object. The patients admission was the starting point for clinic observation. The relevant data were collected for carrying on the MEWS and APACHE Ⅱ ratings, tracking the patients' prognosis. The corresponding predictors for prognosis of patients such as sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and ROC curve by MEWS score,APACHE Ⅱ score and combination of the two scoring systems were compared. Results The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.93,0.79 and 0.93 with MEWS score,APACHE Ⅱ score and combination of the two scoring systems. The comparison of either of the two scoring systems showed significant difference. When death was named as the prediction factor, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 76.92%,91.70%,51.02%,97.23% for MEWS score; 83.08%,62.80%,20.15% and 97.04% for APACHE Ⅱ score; 92.31%,86.43%,43.48% and 97.58% for combination of the two scoring systems. Conclusions Combination of the MEWS and APACHE Ⅱ scoring systems can be used to predict the prognosis of patients in emergency medical department. It posesses high sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value, which indicating a high predictive capability.

Objective To investigate the characteristics and influencing factors leading to sudden cardiac death (SCD) of incarcerated prisoners. Methods Seventy-five SCD cases of prisoners between 2000 and 2013 in Henan province were collected, and environment, psychological and physical factors were retro-spectively analyzed. Combined with histopathological results, specific factors of SCD were also studied. Results In the 75 cases, 21 cases (28%) had definite chronic past medical histories, and 75 cases (100%) had cardiovascular disease confirmed by autopsy. Conclusion Due to presence of the potential cardiac diseases, special incarcerated environment, psychological stress, and body-restraint might be the precipitat-ing factors in SCD of those prisoners.

Background Dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) is a commonly used adjuvant to promote testing drug solubility to prepare multi-levels testing drug concentrations.DMSO is cell type-dependent cytotoxic and its toxicity can interfere the testing drug evaluation.Determining its safe concentration on commonly used cell types is important for ocular drug development. Objective This study was to determine the minimal toxic concentration of DMSO for in vitro ocular cell lines in a simulated drug screening setting. Methods Retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells were isolated from one pigmented rabbit and primarily cultured.Human RPE cell strain (ARPE19),scleral fibroblasts line (S75-Fron),human Müller cell line (MIO-M1),human lens epithelial cell line (HLEC),human choroidal melanoma cell line (OCM-1),human umbilical endothelial cell (HUVEC) and human HeLa cell line (HELA) were cultured.Different concentrations of DMSO (1.6%,1.0%,0.8%,0.4%,0.2% and 0.1%) were prepared with 160 μl DMSO solution and 9.84 ml RPMI1640 (or DMEM/F12 or DMEM) containing 2% fetal bovine serum.Different concentrations of DMSO were added in medium for 96 hours, and the and viability (absorbance) of the cells was detected using MTS to evaluate the cytotoxicity of DMSO.Results Rabbit primary RPE cells showed the yellow-green fluorescence for cytokeratin(CK) and HMB45 red fluorescence for S100.The viability of the cells was gradually declined as the increase of DMSO dose, showing significant differences in ARPE19,S75-Fron,HLEC,OCM-1,HUVEC and primary RPE cells (all at P<0.05),and when DMSO concentrations were ≥ 0.8%,the cell viabilities were significantly lower. But no significant difference was found in MIO-M1 cells among different doses of DMSO (F=0.830,P=0.547).The minimal toxic concentration of DMSO for ARPE19,HUVEC,HELA,HLEC,MIO-M1,OCM-1,primary RPE cells and S75-Fron was 0.8%,0.1%,0.8%,>1.6%,>1.6%,0.2%,0.2%,0.2%,respectively,and HUVEC was more sensitive to the cytotoxicity of DMSO (P=0.02),and MIO-M1 was the least sensitive to DMSO (P =0.39).The viability of HUVEC and primary RPE cells went down with the increase of DMSO dose, and S75-Fron viability started to decline in 0.1% DMSO and then stabilize with the higher concentrations until 1.6% DMSO at which the viability showed further decline. Conclusions The tolerability of ocular cells in vitro to DMSO varies depending on the cell types. The minimal toxic concentration ranged from 0.1% to 1.6%.The result suggests that a concurrent DMSO control should be set up along with the testing compound.
