1.A case report of Von-hippel-Lidau disease
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2001;263(9):108-111
The authors report a case of Von hippel Lindau disease in a 20 years old patients with presenting signs: diminution of visual acuity, intracramial hypertension with a left cerebollar syndrome and existence of an retinal angioma on the right side and papilla oedema on the left side. A scanning examination revealed a cystic tumor with a solid little mass. Angiography showed a capillary nodus coressponding to the mass lesion, with feeding arteries coming from the anterio superior cerebellar artery. Removal of the cyst and the tumor was successful. Pathological examination: Hemangi oblastoma. Negative ultrasound examination of the kidney, pancreas.

7.Prudent use of SCI and IF in medical research organizations
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2009;25(1):50-52
It is a popular practice for Chinas academia to regard SCI(Science Citation Index)and its IF(Impact Factor)as fundamental indexes for research competency evaluatiop. This article however holds that SCI and IF are but quantitative measurements for evaluating periodicals, and whether it is scientific to evaluate research results with such indexes as they are remains to be jusfified. It also suggests that practitioners in research organizations fully comprehend the meaning of SCI and IF,and use them correctly,so as to guide researchers to contribute their works to proper publishers.
8.A comparison of two methods for anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody of double-antigen sandwich assay
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(2):185-187
Objective To investigate the sensitivities and specificities of enzyme-linked inununosorbent assay(ELISA)and immunogold labeling technique in the detection of anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody.Methods(1)Sensitivity test:15 sera from patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)diagnosed by western blotting were diluted proportionately,we detected the anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody in all diluted sera using ELISA and immunogold labeling technique, and recorded the maximum dilutions of the two methods that the anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody was positive.(2)Specificity test:200 sera from patients with nonAIDS were detected by ELISA and immunogold labeling technique, and we recorded the negative rates of the two methods.Results(1)Sensitivity test:The maximum dilution of ELISA was significantly higher than that of immunogold labeling technique(P < 0.05).(2)Specificity test:The negative rates of the two methods were 100%,and there was no significant difference between the two methods. Conclusion The sensitivity of ELISA in the detection of antihuman immunodeficiency virus antibody is better than that of immunogold labeling technique, but the sensitivities and specificities of the two methods are consistent when the serum is detected,so the immunogold labeling technique is able to replace ELISA as a screening test for AIDS.
9.DRB PCR-Single-Strand Coaformation Polymorphism Analysis of HLA-DR
Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(02):-
DRB alleles of 10 different HLA-DR individuals tested by serology typing were studied with polymerase chain reaction-single-strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) analysis, single-strand DNA of different sequence exhibited specific band patterns and mobilities by this technique. Our results suggested that PCR-SSCP is expected to be a useful tool for donor-recipient DRB allele HLA-matching in organ transplantation, as well as identification of criminal in forensic medicine.
10.Distribution of gene typing of clinical ESBLs-producing bacterium in children and its drug resistance
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(02):-
Objective:To analyze the epidemic characteristics and gene type of the Extended-Spectrum ?-Lactamases(ESBLs)-producing Gram-negative bacterium in Chong-qing area from 2002 to 2004,and investigate its distribution of gene typing and drug resistance. Methods:There were 4022 Gram-negative bacterium isolated in clinic from 2002 to 2004,and they were identified and done the drug sensitivity by the microscan walkaway-4.0.ESBLs-producing strains were detected by K-B method and amplified by PCR.The DNA of 108 chosen ESBLs-producing strains were genotyped by Tripure Isolation Reagent.Results:1468 ESBLs-producing strains were detected. The rates of Escherichia.coli and Klebsiella.pneumoniae were 52.5% and 65.8% respectively. The general positive rate of ESBLs-producing was 58.0%.And the rates in year 2002,2003 and 2004 were 68.2%,56.9% and 50.8% 2002 to 2004 respectively. The result of PCR showed that 3 types of gene typing,TEM,SHV and CTX were detected in 108 chosen ESBLs-producing strainsThe TEM type was the main type in E.coli(56/59),E.asburiane(12/13)and P.aeruginosa(6/7)while the SHV type was the main type in K.pneumoniae(28/29).TEM type was the main type for year 2002(75%),both TEM(40%)and SHV(57.1%)for 2003,and TEM for 2004(90.9%)with CTX as infrequent type(3.7%).The resistance rates of ESBLs-producing isolates against penicillins, aztreonam and the third generation cephalosporins were about 56.2%-100%,and almost multi-resistant.Conclusion:The incidence of ESBLs-producing isolates was decreasing by year, and ESBLs-Producing isolates mainly carried TEM and SHV types of ?-Lactamases with the TEM one as the major.Their drug resistances were not so good. Those indicated that it is necessany to strengthen the understanding about bacterium resistance and gene type change, administer medicines reasonably to decrease the resistant ones and control the infection in hospital better.
