Chinese Journal of Immunology 2001;17(2):103-105
Objective:To investigate serum level of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:VEGF ELISA Quantikine kit.The serum RF level was also d etermined using Beckman Array 360.Results:The serum concen tration of VEGF was significantly higher in patients with RA than in healthy co ntrol(P<0.01).Conclusion:It suggests that VEGF is involved in the pathog enesis of RA and that measurment of serum concentration of VEGF is noninvasive, usful method for monitoring the disease activity of RA.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2014;23(7):590-593
Objective To explore the value of ocular fundus artery hemodynamics in diabetes by the correlation study between ocular fundus artery and glycosylated hemoglobin(GHb).Methods GHb was checked in 98 patients (196 eyes) in diabetes, including 49 cases (98 eyes) before treatment and 49 cases (98 eyes) after treatment, and normal group of 100 cases (200 eyes)An all cases, color Doppler ultrasonography was used for monitorind ophthalmic artery(OA),central retinal artery(CRA) and posterior ciliary artery (PCA).Finally, the differences of the parameters vauels of the the OA,CRA,and PCA between diabetic and normal group were studied in order to find out the relationship with GHb.Results Of 98 patients in diabetes, peak systolic velocity and end diastolic velocity of fundus artery decreased, resistance index increased(RI).There was significant difference between diabetic and normal group(P <0.05),and a significant difference was exited between diabetic group before and after treatment(P <0.05).GHb were negatively correlated with the velocity of fundus artery, and positively correlated with RI.Conclusions Evaluation of ocular fundus artery hemodynamics in diabetes can provide useful information for diabetic retinal perfusion and function change. For evaluation of diabetic retinal disease,it is of great value in clinical application.

Objective To detect serum galectin 3 levels in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and explore its clinical significance .Methods The galectin 3 levels the serum of in 38 CKD patients and 34 healthy controls were determined by ELISA . All kidney function was measured by automatic biochemical analyzer .The relation between serum galectin 3 levels and the level of kidney function was analyzed by use of t test .Results The serum galectin 3 levels in CKD and healthy controls groups were (1 .22 ± 1 .01)ng/mL and (3 .03 ± 2 .06)ng/mL ,P<0 .05 .There was close negative correlation between serum levels of galectin 3 and Cr ,CysC(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Serum galectin 3 of CKD patients reduces significantly and correlates with kidney function . Detecting on s galectin 3 is helpful for chronic kidney disease diagnosis and therapeutic effect evaluation .

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(17):3413-3415
In order to increase the yield and quality of the medicinal plant and enhance the competitive power of industry of medicinal plant in our country, this paper analyzed the status, problem and countermeasure of the tissue culture of medicinal plant on large scale. Although the biotechnology is one of the most efficient and promising means in production of medicinal plant, it still has problems such as stability of the material, safety of the transgenic medicinal plant and optimization of cultured condition. Establishing perfect evaluation system according to the characteristic of the medicinal plant is the key measures to assure the sustainable development of the tissue culture of medicinal plant on large scale.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2009;29(7):459-462
Objective To evaluate the gastroesophageal reflux symptom in patients who underwent continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and the efficacy of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) in treating gastroesophageal reflux. Methods Fifty-eight CAPD patients with good clinical and complete dialyzed eondition, who was admitted to the hospital between Jan. 2008 and July 2008, were inquired about their gastroesophageal reflux symptoms using reflux disease questionnaire (RDQ). The patients who had RDQ≥6 and <12 were received esomeprazole 20 mg daily, while those with RDQ≥12 were received esomeparzole 20 mg twice daily. RDQ score was reevaluated 4 weeks after treatment. Results The common symptom was regurgitation (64.70%), followed by acid reflux (52.9 %), non-cardic chest pain (47.1. %) and heart burn (17. 6%). After 4-week treatment, the RDQ was significantly decreased (P< 0. 05). But there was no difference in outcome of treatment between patients with RDQ≥ 12 and RDQ< 12 (P=0. 059). Conclusion The gastroesophageal reflux symptom in CAPD patients can be relieved by PPI administration, but a larger clinical trial is needed to evaluate the course and efficacy of treatment.
