Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2001;(1):12-13
To explore the effect of comprehensive management on psychological influence in children with asthma, 60 cases with asthma was administrated by WHO global comprehensive strategy for the management of asthma including the persistent use of beclomethaone with the intermittent inhalation of salbutanmol, the lung function monitored by peak flow meter, the detection and avoidance of the induced factors, the management of the social education and the psychological intervention. All children on comprehensive management were followed one year for observation. The results showed that the rate of the total effect was 98.3%. There were all decrease significantly in the rate of the hospitalization, the rate of the emergency, and the rate of the absence for school. It was obvious that asthmatic children and their parents's confidence for the treatment of asthma enhanced significantly.Their psychological disturbance, the school grade, and the life quality were also obtained advanced improvement.
2.Study of correlation between blast lung injury and acute posttraumatic stress disorder
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(5):399-402
ObjectiveTo study the correlation between blast lung injury (BLI) and acute posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) through the establishment of the model about blasting injury of rats.Methods84 SD male rats were randomly divided into four groups:the normal control group( A),the model groups ( B,C) and the sham model group(D).21 rats in each group. The chest of the model group and sham model group rats, respectively, were exposed to 8# instantaneous electric detonator at different distances. Then, emotion and behavior of rats was observed through open field test and elevated plus maze test,at day 1,14,28 after blasting.Group A was not given the explosion of stress treatment. After testing, each group was randomly picked up seven rats for succumbing to draw blood which was used to detecting the level of plasma corticosterone by radioimmunoassay, respectively. Results( 1 ) On day 1,it was a significant difference that the latency time ( LT),crossing frequency (CF),rearing frequency(RF) and modification frequency(MF) which were both group B( (25.34 ± 4.50)s,( 19.73 ± 11.10 ),(0.52±0.11),(0.53±0.21) respectively)and group C((22.13 ±6.54)s,(28.67 ±7.22),(1.07 ±0.26),( 0.89 ± 0.15 ) respectively ) were compared with group A,including LT,CF and RF of group D ( ( 23.71 ± 3.9 ) s,(25.13 ± 12.35 ),( 1.26 ± 0.74 ) respectively ) (P < 0.05 ).Then,on day 28,although there was a significant difference which both the LT,CF and RF of group B,and the CF and RF of group C were compared with group A(P < 0.05 ),no significant discrepancy was observed between group B and C (P > 0.05 ).( 2 ) In the elevated plus maze test, the result was similar to the open field test.(3)On day 1 after blasting injury,it was significant distinction that the level of serum corticosterone of group B,C and D (( 153.15 ± 44.50) ng/ml,( 132.72 ±78.77)ng/ml,(96.16 ±8.96)ng/ml respectively)were higher than group A(P<0.05).Finally,the level of serum corticosterone of group B,C and D were lower than group A on day 28 (P < 0.05 ).ConclusionBLI model successfully induces acute stress disorder(ASD) of rots which behaved like anxiety, fear, hyperarousal and avoidance, and promots furtherly the development of ASD to PTSD,and establishes the modle of acute PTSD.
4.Evaluation on the acceptability of method performance validation for quantitative tests
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2003;0(12):-
We compared the total errors observed from both precision and accuracy validation experiments with defined medically allowable errors for each quantitative test, and used Westgard's method evaluation decision chart for initial judgement of the acceptability of method validation performance. Moreover,we need to judge the acceptability of other method validation parameters,so that we could integratedly assess and judge whether the testing system is acceptable to use in the laboratory.

Medical students should study and enlarge their medical terminology from their medical English courses as well as bilingual courses. This ability is a key part in the cultivation of high-levelled medical talents. However, medical words are special from general English in three parts:long, great in numbers and difficult to read. These characteristics leave the medical students in a hard situation in their promotion of medical terminology. If the students are provided and guided with a convenient and efficient software based on modem education technology, they can achieve much better results. The audio medical English terminology corpus can help the medical students achieve their goal in promotion of medical termi-nology.

BACKGROUND: Rhodiola rosco L acts on anti-aging,anti-fatigue and improving immunity in human body and improves angina pectoris.OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of rhodiola root on heart hemodynamics and myocardial contractility and probe into its mechanism.DESIGN: Observational and controlled based on the experimental animals.SETTING: Department of physiology in a medical university.MATERIALS: The experiment was performed in Laboratory of Cardiac Vessels of Department of Physiology of Guangxi Medical University, from January to April 2001.Thirty New Zealand white rabbits of either sex, weighted varied from 1.9 to 2.3 kg,were randomized into two groups, named as the control(physiological saline 4 mL/kg) and rhodiola sacra SH Fu (nuodikang) group(0.5 g/4 mL · kg-1),15 rabbits in each group. A hundred common wild frogs were employed, weighted varied from 120 to 160 g,randomized into 4 groups, named as the control group of physiological saline, nuodikang of small dosage group(blood concentration 209 mg/L),nuodikang of moderate dosage group(blood concentration 418 mg/L) and nuodikang of large dosage group(blood concentration 627 mg/L),25 frogs in each group.METHODS: ms2000 multiple medium biological signal analysis system was applied,by Straub method, frog heart perfusion specimen in vitro was prepared and the cardiac activity was assayed. The relevant indexes of ventricle activity in rabbits were determined with hemodynamics.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Comparison of hemodynamics changes in rabbits of two groups and the comparison of effects of nuodikang at various dosages on frog heart work in vitro.RESULTS: Myocardial contractility in every nuodikang group was strengthened remarkably compared with the control(F = 8.939, P<0.01 ), the myocardial contractility in nuodikang groups at the dosages of 209 mg/L,418 mg/L and 627 mg/L was in the tendency of increasing, strengthened by 52. 3%,70. 1% and 86.4% respectively. But the significant difference was not apparent in the comparison among experimental groups(P>0.05). The significant difference in frog heart rates among groups was not apparent(P>0.05). Concerning to hemodynamics in rabbits,in nuodikang groups, the maximum increasing rate of pressure in the left ventricle was increased by 22.1% (F = 6.259,P<0.05),the mean pressure of artery was decreased by 8.2% (F = 5.688, P<0.05) . The significant difference in other indexes was not apparent in the comparison between the control and nuodikang groups.CONCLUSION: Nuodikang strengthens myocardial contractility and speeds up myocardial contraction, but does not present remarkable influence on myocardial dilation; simultaneously it reduces the mean pressure of artery.
