Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2012;(12):1085-1086
Objective To study the effect of finasteride on preventing prostate hyperplasia with acute urinary retention. Methods Totally 626 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) were randomly divided into treatment group (316 cases) and control group (310 cases),followed up for 3 years. The incidence of acute urinary retention and prostate volume changes were analyzed. Results There were 3 cases of acute urinary retention in treatment group (1.0 %),9 cases in control group (2.9%) (x2 =5.37,P<0.05).In treatment group, the average prostate volume was reduced about 23.6% compared with before taking the medicine,on the contrary, prostate volume was averagely increased 12.3% in control group. Conclusions Finasteride can reduce the risk of acute urinary retention by narrowing the prostate volume in patients of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(3):94-97
Objective To optimize the purification technology of total flavonoids from the Tripterospermi Chinensis Herba by macroporous resin. Methods The purification abilities of six kinds of macroporous adsorption resins for total flavonoids from Tripterospermi Chinensis Herba were studied with the adsorption and desorption rates as the index by static adsorption and desorption experiments. The column liquid concentration, adsorption rate, and the loaded amount were studied by using dynamic adsorption experiments. The optimal desorption technology was examined by orthogonal experiment. Results AB-8 macroporous resin was found to have good adsorption and desorption effects. The optimal purification conditions were as follows:the column liquid concentration was 5.285 mg/mL, adsorption rate was 2 BV/h;the loaded amount was 17.62 mg/mL. The sample was eluted by 10%ethanol with 4 BV and 50%ethanol of 5 BV at a flow rate of 4 BV/h. The purity of total flavonoids increased to 61.95% after the purification, and the yield was 87.28%. Conclusion This optimized process was stable, feasible and suitable for separation and purification of total flavonoids from Tripterospermi Chinensis Herba.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2014;(4):578-579
A case of mandible plasma cell myeloma is reported.Plasma cell myeloma is a monoclonal neoplastic proliferation of plasma cells of bone-marrow derivation, usually multi-centric but jaw bones are rarely involved. The treatment requires precise pathological diagno-sis.The prognosis of solitary jaw bone lesions can be good after treatment.
8.MR findings and comparative study of MR sequences in several twin pregnancy with comorbidities
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(8):1336-1340
Objective To compare the applications of half-Fourier acquisition single-shot turbo spin-echo(HASTE)sequence and true fast imaging with steady state precession(True FISP)sequence for the delineation of structures and diseases in several twin pregnancy with comorbidities and to explore the clinical value of two series of fast imaging for MRI of fetus. Methods 27 twin preg-nancy women with comorbidities were imaged with HASTE and True FISP sequences. All images were statistically analyzed in re-spect of imaging qualities and artifacts.MR signs of fetal brain were analysized. Results There were abnormal changes in brains in 7 of 27 cases. Both sequences could demonstrate the structures and lesions of the fatus.Imaging quality scores of HASTE were higher than that of True FISP,but with more respiratory blurring. Conclusion There might be varying abnormalities in central nervous system in twin pregnancy with comorbidities.Combining the demonstration abilities of HASTE and True FISP is needed when de-tecting fetus lesions, especially the brain.
9.Establishment and application of the engineered cells expressing a human G-protein-coupled receptor c
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Aim To establish a screening system of orphan G protein-coupled receptors (oGPCRs) for their ligands based on monitoring [Ca 2+]_i in engineered cells. Methods The whole ORF of a member of human oGPCR, designated human G-protein-coupled receptor c (hGPCRc), was amplified by RT-PCR from human colon tissue and its structure was analyzed with softwares. CHO-K_1 cells were transfected with the recombinant pcDNA 3.1(+)-hGPCRc to obtain engineered CHO-hGPCRc cells. As fluorescence probe, Fluo-3 was used in assaying the [Ca 2+]_i changes induced by different compounds in the CHO- hGPCRc cells. Results Bioinformatic analysis showed that hGPCRc was localized at 13q32.2, and its corresponding amino acids formed seven-transmembrane domains and was close to human P2Y_1 receptor. It was indicated that hGPCRc was a new member of human GPCR. CHO- hGPCRc cells expressing hGPCRc were obtained successfully but no one was able to activate hGPCRc among the tested compounds indicated by the [Ca 2+]_i changes. Conclusion Although hGPCRc was even though close to human P2Y_1 receptor, it can not be activated by the known compounds which activate the P2Y_1 receptor. hGPCRc might be a new member of purine receptor family but dose not belong to P2Y_1 subfamily.
10.Influence of Electroacupuncture of Neiguan Point on Myocardial Collagen in Rats with Pressure Overload
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2004;0(06):-
[Objective] To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) of Neiguan (PC6) poinl on rnyocardial fibrosis and myocardial contents of collagen type Ⅰ and type Ⅲ in rats with pressure overload. [ Methods ] Rats were randomized to four groups: pseudo-operation group ( group A), model group ( group B) , EA group ( group C) and western medicine group (group D). Pressure-overloaded rat models were established by restriction of abdominal aortic artery. Left ventricular mass index (LVMI) and blood pressure (BP) in the four groups were observed; the plasma level of angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ ) was detected by radioimmunoassay and myocardial contents of collagen type Ⅰ and type Ⅲ by immunohistochemical staining method. [Results] BP, LVMI, expression levels of Ang If and collagen type Ⅰ and type Ⅲ were increased in group B as compared with those in group A ( P 0.05) . [Conclusion] EA of Neiguan point is effective in preventing and treating myocardial fibrosis induced by pressure overload.
