OBJECTIVE: To investigate the utilization and its trend of antidepressants in Beijing.METHODS: The antidepressants used in 70 hospitals in Beijing from 2004 to 2006 were analyzed statistically in respect of the variety,consumption sum,DDDs and DDC etc.RESULTS: The consumption sum of the antidepressants used in Beijing increased year by year.CONCLUSION: Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors(SSRIs) have become the first-line antidepressants,but the application of the tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants decreased year by year.The new antidepressants such as venlafaxine increased sharply.

Objective To investigate the level of serum cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) and its relationship with vascular calcification in diabetic nephropathy (DN) patients .Methods COMP was tested in 54 (DN) group and 28 matched healthy persons (healthy group) .DN group was divided into vascular calcification group (VC) and non‐vascular calcification (non VC) group .DN group was also divided into cardiovascular disease group (CVD‐y) and without cardiovascular disease group (CVD‐n) in view of the company of cardiovascular disease .Serum COMP levels was compared between the DN group and the control group ,the VS group and the non VS group ,and the CVD‐y group and the CVD‐n group .The correlations between COMP level and the occur‐rence of cardiovascular disease ,the incidence of vascular calcification were estimated by Wald analysis of the application of Wald test .Results Serum COMP in DN group was significantly higher than the control group;Aortic arch calcification accounted for 75 .9% of the DN group .The serum COMP in VC group was higher than that of non VC group ,CVD‐y group had higher COMP than CVD‐n group old respectively with every 10 ng/mL increased in concentration of serum COMP .Conclusion The higher of concentration of serum COM P ,the more risk of vascular calcification and CVD .

〔Abstract〕 The paper introduces the informatization management system in specialist clinic blood-taking room, which compares with the process before informatization from the aspects of error rates of blood samples, patients satisfaction, hospital labor costs and so on to highlight the advantages of informatization management.The progressiveness, existing problems and corresponding countermeasures are discussed, informatization management could improve work efficiency and patients satisfaction.

Objective To evaluate the effect of medical hygiene wipes on disinfecting object surface and compliance to use in an intensive care unit (ICU).Methods 30 beds in the ICU at a hospital were randomly selected and divided into three groups:A,B and C,each group had 10 beds.Group A were only provided hygiene wipes,group B used towel soaked in chlorine-containing disinfectant (disinfected towel),group C were provided both medical hygiene wipes and disinfected towel for selected use.Compliance to different disinfection methods,and disinfectant efficacy on object surface were compared.Results The rate of compliance to disinfection in group A was higher than group B (78.78% vs 42.12%,χ2 =68.56,P <0.05);except medical disposal trolley and ventilator,compliance to disinfection of the other object surface in group A were all higher than group B (all P <0.05).Except ventilator, adenosis triphosphate (ATP)values before and after disinfection of object surface in group A and B were both significantly different (both P <0.05 ),disinfectant efficacy of group A was superior to group B.Group C used medical hygiene wipes more than disinfected towel ([836 times,91 .57%]vs [77 times,8.43%]).Nurses spent (20.15+ 3.00 )minutes on preparing disinfectant every day,and (15.02 ± 2.00 )minutes on washing used disinfected towel,while hygiene wipes could be used immediately,discarded after use,and was timesaving. Conclusion Use of medical hygiene wipes is convenient,rapid,and without irritating odor,it also improves disinfection effect on object surface and ICU health care workers’compliance to disinfection.

OBJECTIVE To compare the air sterilization effect of in operating room used by different air sterilization methods.METHODS Four types sterilization methods were used to operating room air.Then sampling monitoring and evaluation were done.RESULTS The qualification rate of air sterilization were 79.17%,62.79%,79.63%,97.22% in peroxyacetic acid fumigating,simple ultraviolet radiation,peroxyacetic acid fumigating combined with simple ultraviolet radiation,ultraviolet light circulation wind air sterilization machine,respectively.The sterilization effect of ultraviolet light circulation wind was better than the others.CONCLUSIONS Ultraviolet light circulation wind air sterilization machine can be used to air sterilization in non-laminar air flow purify operating room.

[Objective]To investigate differential gene expression in dendritic cell(DC) in response to human alloantigen and cytomegalovirus protein,and search target genes which can prevent graft rejection and eytomegalovirus (CMV) infection.[Methods]Genome-wide microarray analysis was performed to test gene expression in DC in response to human alloantigen and cytomegalovirus protein 3A(CMV3A).[Results]The Results showed that the difference of gene expression of DC induced by CMV3A and alloantigen was significant.The genes with differential expression included antigen processing and presentation,toll-like receptor signaling pathway and cell movement/migration, cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction and metabolism of xenobiotics by cytochrome p450,and several heat shock protein(HSP) family members including HSPA5,HSPA8,HSPA9B and HSP90AB1,in DC induced hy alloantigen were higher expression than that by CMV3A.[Conclusion]This study found several genes including heat shock protein family in DC induced by alloantigen were higher expression than that by CMV3A,these genes might play a valuable role in preventing graft rejection and CMV infection.

Objective To develop a computer-auto-controlling and analysis system for Tail suspension .Methods Combining the advantage of computer science , engineering and animal behavior into tail suspension test .The “energy”index was developed .The system was validated with antidepressants such as imipramine and paroxetine .Results The measuring principle is based on the energy developed by mice trying to escape from their suspension .During the test, the movements of the mice are analyzed in terms of force , energy and power developed over time .Each mouse issuspended by the tail using adhesive tape to a hook connected to a tail test sensor .The tail test sensor fixed to suspension bar picks up all movements of the mouse and transmits these to a signal regulation unit and transmission circuit , which amplify , filter and digitalizes the signals.The signals are displayed visually in waveform .Activity time, immobility time, energy are continuously updated .The correlation coefficient of “immobility time” collected by computer and manpower was 0.94. Using this system, both imipramine and paroxetine could decreased the immobility time and paroxetine could increased the energy induced by mice ( both P <0.01 ) .Conclusion A stable computer-auto-controlling and analysis system for Tail suspension was established and could be used to screen the antidepressants .

Objective To investigate the effect of angina treated with Danhong injection plus nitroglycerin injection.Methods A total of 108 patients with angina were randomly divided into a treatment group (56cases) and a control group (52 cases).The control group was treated by conventional therapy (injected nitroglycerin injection lOmg added in normal sodium 48ml by venous pumping within 8 hours,once daily for 10 days);on the base of the conventional therapy,the treatment group treated with additional danhong injection (30ml,added in 5% glucose injection 250ml,iv,q.d.,once daily for ten days).Observe changes of electrocardiography and physical signs before and after the therapy.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group is 92.84%,contrasting 82.68% in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion It is effective to treat angina with Danhong injection plus nitroglycerin injection.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of self-designed big cup membranate stent on restenosis after stenting for carcinoma of esophago-cardia. Methods 12 cases of restenosis after stenting for carcinoma of esophago-cardia were involved in the study. Self-designed big cup membranate stent made by Nanjing Weichuang Company(the length of the cup was 3.5 cm)was placed into the constricted stent under guidance of fluoroscopy. Clinical effect, restenosis, and complications were observed during followed up. Results All the 12 cases of big cup membranat stent placement went along smoothly without indigitation of the cup of the stent. Follow-up of 1.5-8 months showed that 2 cases developed severe restenosis on the big cup of the stent, resulting in third grade difficult deglutition. Among them, one occurred 1 month after stenting, caused by hyperplasia of large amount of granulation tissue; another occurred 6 months after stenting, caused by growth of tumor tissue. 3 cases developed mild to moderate restenosis, 2.3-7 months(mean: 4.6 months)after stenting, with result of first grade difficult deglutition. The remaining 7 cases(mean5.6 months follow-up) did not have difficulty during deglutition. Conclusions Application of big cup membranate stent on restenosis after stenting for carcinoma of esophago-cardia can effectively prevent the stent from moving downwards and thus lower down the rate of restenosis, and postpone the occurrence of restenosis.
