Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2014;21(3):171-173
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the first gram-negative bacillus pathogen of hospital-acquired infection. With the widely application of the antibiotics, pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant rate is rising, which causes refractory infection.Controlling and preventing the bacterial infection are the most important work in ICU.In this paper,we reviewed the pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant mechanism and the change of resistance, providing a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment in PICU.

ObjectiveTo investigate the predictor and prophylaxis of cardiovascular events in diabetic nephropathy (DN) patients. MethodsFifty-eight cases of DN patients were assigned randomizedly to two groups. Conventional treatment group(33 cases) received conventional treatment, and ginkgo biloba extract group(30 cases) received extra ginkgo biloba extract capsules treatment. Plasma examination for blood fat, blood pressure(Bp), brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) and echocardiogram was performed every 3 months. All the patients were followed-up for the occurrence of cardiovascular events. ResultsThere were no significant differences in age, sex, Bp, blood fat, serum creatinine, hemoglobin,BNP, left ventricular E/A and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in two groups at the time of recruitment. After treatment of 12 months, the level of plasma BNP decreased significantly in ginkgo biloba extract group and maintained in the lower levels throughout the follow-up compared with that in conventional treatment group(P< 0.01 ). After treatment of 18 and 24 months, left ventricular E/A and LVEF were better in ginkgo biloba extract group than those in conventional treatment group(P < 0.01 or < 0.05 ). In ginkgo biloba extract group, the level of plasma BNP after treatment of 12 months had correlation with left ventricular E/A and LVEF after treatment of 24 months (r =0.61, -0.68, P < 0.05 ). Survival analysis indicated that the level of plasma BNP was a predictor of cardiovascular event in DN patients. ConclusionThe level of plasma BNP can be used as a predictor of cardiovascular event in DN patients, and ginkgo biloba extract capsules can decrease the level of plasma BNP and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events in DN patients.

China Pharmacist 2014;(11):1817-1820
Objective:To study the preparation of total leaves saponins of panax notoginseng liposomal gels and evaluate the quali-ty. Methods:The total leaves saponins of panax notoginseng liposomes were prepared by the film-dispersion method, and the formula was optimized by the orthogonal experimental design. A high-speed centrifugation method was applied to determine the encapsulation efficiency used as the evaluation index for the optimization of the preparation process. Then the gels were prepared and an HPLC meth-od was used to determine the content of ginsenoside Rb3 . The stability was preliminarily studied as well. Results:The preparation was semi-solid, and viscous gels with low skin irritation and good stability. The quality was accordance with the relevant provisions in Chi-nese Pharmacopoeia (2010 edition). Conclusion: The gels are with the properties of simple preparation process, reliable detection methods and stable and controllable quality.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(03):-
Objective Chromatography fingerprint of Radix Codonopsis of different age from Shanxi province was studied to provide the reference for the science appraisal of intrinsic quality of Radix codonopsis. Method A RP-HPLC method was applied on GraceSmart-RP18 (250 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m) column with acetonitrile-0.1% acetic acid gradient elution as mobile phase, and the flow-rate was 0.6 mL/min. The detection wavelength was at 268 nm and the column temperature was at 30 ℃. Result Chromatography fingerprint of Radix Codonopsis can demonstrate obviously the difference and the similarity of Radix Codonopsis of different age. The RSD were lower than 3% in the precision, stability and the repetitiveness trial, and the codonopsis pilosula alkyne glucoside can be used as the reference to identify the active composition of Radix Codonopsis. Conclusion The method was simple, reproducible and reliable. The integrity of fingerprint can be used to supply the reference for the quality control of Radix Codonopsis from Shanxi provice.

Object To study IR absorption spectra of the extracts from chicken bile possessed excellent anti inflammatory and anticancer activity so as to develop this valuable resource. Methods Bile samples from chickens and various animals were dried in the dark and subjected to IR analysis respectively. Results By comparison, significant difference was found between IR spectra of chicken bile and other animals' bile, but the IR spectra of various chicken bile showed very good consistency. Conclusion The IR spectra of chicken bile is independent of raising places, species, feeding fashion, sampling season and age of sampled chicken. It was suggested that the bile of various chicken contained same chemical composition and this result was confirmed by UV and TLC analysis.

Objective To observe the contents of hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and homocysteine before and after cluster needling at scalp acupoints in patients with acute cerebral infarction, and to discuss its significance in clinic. Method Sixty patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 in each group. The control group was intervened by regular medication, while the treatment group was intervened by cluster needling at scalp acupoints in addition to the treatment given to the control group. The contents of serum hs-CRP and homocysteine were observed before and after intervention, to objectively evaluate the cluster needling at scalp acupoints in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Result The contents of serum hs-CRP and homocysteine were significantly changed after intervention in both groups (P<0.05); there were significant differences in comparing the contents of serum hs-CRP and homocysteine between the two groups after intervention (P<0.01). Conclusion Cluster needling at scalp acupoints can decline the contents of hs-CRP and homocysteine in patients with acute cerebral infarction.

Objective To investigate the relationship between occult pancreaticobiliary reflux (OPR) and biliary diseases. Methods Forty-four patients with primary biliary diseases was enrolled, and serum amylase level was determined, and the bile in common bile duct (CBD) was collected to measure the amylase level, then the △ amylase was calculated, which equals bile amylase level minus serum amylase level.OPR was confirmed if bile amylase level was higher than serum amylase level, otherwise it would be defined as the control group. Results Among the 44 patients with primary biliary diseases, the incidence of OPR was 72.7% (n =32).The bile and serum amylase activity of patients with OPR were (1 513 ± 2 725),(44 ± 21)U/L;and they were (18 ± 14) and (38 ± 17) U/L in the control group. The bile amylase level in OPR group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in serum amylase activity between the two groups. The incidence of OPR in patients with CBD stones was 100%,and the bile amylase activity was (1 048 ± 1 317) IU/L,and the △ bile amylase activity was (996 ± 1 322) U/L;the incidence of OPR in patients with choledocholithiasis and cholecystolithiasis was 75%,and the bile amylase activity was (2 457 ± 3 312),the △ amylase activity was (2 412 ± 3 320)IU/L;and the corresponding values in patients with gallbladder stones were 80%,(95 ± 82),(57 ± 76)IU/L;and the corresponding values in patients with bile duct cancer were 50%,(73 ± 51),(40 ± 37)U/L.Conclusions The occurrence of OPR is closely related to CBD stones only,CBD stones and gallbladder stones, and it may be one of the main pathogenic factors of bile duct stones.
