2.Attenuated Salmonella as tumor vaccine vectors
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(9):649-651
Attenuated Salmonella can be used not only as live vaccines but also as vectors for exogenous genes. As vectors, attenuated bacteria can deliver genes directly to tumor tissues, leading to the expression of the cloned genes and induction of specific anti-tumor immunologic responses to inhibit tumor growth. Using attenuated Salmonella as a vector offers a new approach for vaccine development.
3.Curative effect analysis of ultrashort wave combined with dephlogisticate cholagogue table in treating patients with chronic cholecystitis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2012;35(18):28-30
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of ultrashort wave combined with dephlogisticate cholagogue table in treating patients with chronic cholecystitis. Methods One hundred and forty-four patients with chronic cholecystitis treated from January 2009 to October 2011 were randomly divided into 2gtoupe by mechanical sampling method.Treatment group (76 cases) was treated with ultrashort wave and dephlogisticate cholagogue table.Control group (68 cases) was treated with dephlogisticate cholagogue table. The therapeutic effect and the incidence of ache and fever and B-type ultrasonography between two groups were compared. Results The total effective rates were 89.5% (68/76) in treatment group and 67.6%(46/68) in control group. There was significant difference (P <0.01).The incidence of ache and fever, positive rate of B-type ultrasonography in tneatment group [10.5%(8/76),5.3%(4/76),10.5%(8/76)] were significantly lower than those in control group [32.4% (22/68),14.7% (10/68),33.8%(23/68)] (P < 0.05).Conclusion Ultrashort wave combined with dephlogisticate cholagogue tabble is an effective method for treating chronic cholecystitis.
4.Causes and treatments of non-union and delayed union of fractures
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the causes of non-union and delayed union of fractures and to report the surgical techniques and outcomes of the treatments. Methods 107 cases of non-union, 54 cases of delayed union and 2 cases of congenital non-union of tibia were treated between July 1990 and December 2004 in our hospital. The treatments were evaluated retrospectively to analyze the causes of the disorder and the treatment outcomes at the follow-up. 18 cases of delayed union were treated conservatively while the other 145 cases in this series underwent surgery. Results Except in the 2 cases of congenital non-union of tibia, iatrogenic factors were found to be responsible for nonunion or delayed union in all the other 161 cases. 153 cases were followed up for an average of 17 (6 to 28) months only to reveal bone union in all the cases with a mean healing time of 10 (6 to 14) months. All the limbs regained good function. Conclusion Since development of non-union and delayed union of fractures chiefly result from iatrogenic technical defects, satisfactory results can be achieved as long as appropriate treatments are performed according to different etiological factors.
5.Effect of Shouwujiangya Capsule on Renal Function of Renal Hypertension Rats
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(11):-
Objective To observe the effect of Shouwujiangya (SWJY) capsule on blood pressure, urinary content of immune globulin G (IgG), ?1-microglobulin (?1-MG) and ?2-microglobulin (?2-MG) of the renal hypertension rats (RHR). Methods To prepare RHR model by 2K1C and observe the urinary content of IgG, ?1-MG and ?2-MG. Results The blood pressure of high dose SWJY capsule group, low dose SWJY capsule group and captoril group was significantly lower than the model group (P
6.Characteristic of children’s EEG complexity at different ages and in different states
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(05):-
Objective: To study characteristics of children's EEG complexity at different ages and in different physiological states. Methods: The continuous 24 hour EEG recordings were obtained from 16 electrodes in 45 essential healthy children between the ages of 0 to 15 years. EEG complexity was analyzed by non linear measure in 7 states: awake with eyes opened, awake with eyes closed, NREM (nonrapid eye movements) sleep including stages ⅠandⅡ (light sleep), ⅢandⅣ(deep sleep) and REM (rapid eye movements) sleep. Meanwhile, the correlation was analyzed between complexity and ages. Results: (1)The global EEG complexity in state of being awake with eyes opened was greater than that with eyes closed;that in wakefulness state was greater than in sleep state. The EEG complexity gradually decreased with the increase of deep sleep in NREM sleep state. The complexity in REM sleep state was greater than that in deep sleep state, but lower than in wakefulness state. (2) The global EEG complexity was positively related to ages in state of being awake with eyes opened, state of being awake with eyes closed, light sleep, and not related to ages in deep-sleep state and REM sleep state.(3)In every brain area EEG complexity was positively related to ages in state of being awake with eyes closed .In paracentral region EEG complexity was positively related to ages in states of being awake with eyes opened and light sleep. Conclusion: The EEG complexity was used to study the brain dynamical characteristics in different physiology states and the relationship between encephalic electric activity and brain development. It can be used as an objective index to evaluate the function and development of brain.
7.Research progress in opioids induced oxidative injury
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Opioids were widely applied to analgesia and treatment of coughing, diarrhea, anxiety and sleepless. Opioids had toxic effects while playing pharmaceutical roles with oxidative injury as one of the most important toxic effects. Multi-organ or systems in our body were more liable to be damaged either by opioids reduced concentration of glutathione, the reductant or antioxidant, or by increased concentration of reactive oxidative species. To further clarify the research progress in opioids induced oxidative injury is very important towards opioids applications as well as prevention and cure of drug abuse.
8.Advance of Evaluation Techniques for Particle Removal Efficiency of Indoor Air Cleaners
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Indoor air cleaner may improve indoor air quality which is closely related to the human health. The removal efficiency is one of important indicators to evaluate indoor air-cleaning devices. The indoor air cleaning techniques and its application were briefly introduced and the technique of evaluating indoor air cleaner for particle removal efficiency including choosing representative experimental particle, evaluation indicator and test rig were reviewed and discussed in the present paper.
9.Present Status and Control of Legionella Pollution in Air-conditioning Cooling Tower System Water
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Legionnaires’disease is an atypical pneumonic illness caused by the legionella bacteria. These bacteria cause respiratory diseases when a susceptible host inhales aerosolized water containing the bacteria or aspirates water containing the bacteria.Legionella are ubiquitous in natural and artificial water environments worldwide, and survive in a range of environmental conditions.Cooling towers have been implicated in many outbreaks of legionellosis. The causative organism has been readily isolated from many of cooling towers.Various physical and chemical disinfection methods have been developed to eliminate legionella from cooling waters, but gaining control of legionella in cooling water remains a challenge, more methods should be found to control legionella in cooling water. The related researches were reviewed in this paper.
10.Study on Antineoplastic Components of Zebrina Pendula Schnizl
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(02):-
Three components have been isolated from Zebrina pendula Schnizl and identified as ?-sitosterol, 3?, 5?, 6?-trihydroxy stigmast and succinic acid. As a result the anti-tumor rate were 43% (160mg/kg)for succinicacid, 91% (100mg/kg) for ?-sitosterol and 98%(100mg/kg) for 3?, 5?, 6?-trihydroxystigmast, respectively, after anti-cancer test of ascites type-180 sarcoma of mice. It was found that the last hadn't toxicity when its dose was increased.
