International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(7):491-495
MicroRNAS( miRNAs) are a class of single strand, small non-coding RNAs about 22 nucleotides, which have the function to regulate gene expression post-transcriptionally and control the biological processes, such as proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. Recent studies indicate that miRNA plays an important role in tumor involved in invasion and metastasis. This article mainly reviews the feature of miRNA and its effect in metastasis or recurrence of breast cancer.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2014;(1):49-51
The literature courses in military medical university have two main difficulties:fuzzy teaching purpose and single teaching forms. To tackle the two difficulties, firstly, the literature courses should have specific aim which includes medical characteristics and practicality. Secondly, the teachers should choose reasonable materials and adopt effective teaching forms and then better teaching effect can be obtained.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 1996;0(S1):-
Mutation and overexpression of the tumor suppressor gene product, p53, is believed to play an important role in the development of human malignant tumors. Many studies shows that overxpression of the mutant p53 gene product is common in human malignant tumours including esophageal cancer. However, the prognostic significance of overexpression of p53 gene is not well defined. In this study, we have investigated the overexpression of p53 gene product in 174 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma collected from Sichuan Cancer Hospital, Chengdu, China. 48.9% of these esophageal squamous cell carcinomas were positive for p53 staining. Correlations of overexpression of p53 with clinicopathological features including histological type and grade, clinical staging, age and sex was analyzed in all specimens. The prognostic significance of p53 stained esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was analyzed in 111 of these patients follow-up for five-year. Significant statistical correlations were observed between p53 positive and poor prognosis analyzed by Cox proportional hazard regression analysis, (F=0.04). No statistically significant differences were observed between p53 overexpression and the clinicopathological factors including age, sex, differentiation and clinical staging of the cancer, but patients with Vositioly expressed p53 has a poorer prognosis than those with negative expression. The present study indicate that overexpression of p53 may be a useful independent prognostic factor in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma at its early stage.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(01):-
Objective To analyse CT appearances of fibroma and fibrosarcoma and to provide evidences for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods 8 cases with surgically-and pathologically-proved hard fibroma(nasal cavity, maxillary sinus and soft palate each and all 2 cases)and fibrosarcoma(nasal cavity and maxillary sinus each and all 1 case)were studied with retrospectively analysis. The scanning parameters were 5 mm thickness and interval for axial scanning. Results CT appearances of fibroma were single circular, semicircular or elliptical soft tissue masses which usually had homogeneous density, clear margin, thin and full envelope, wide base or a pedicel and slight or middle enhancement after contrast. The tumors grew distensibly, bones near the mass were constricted and thinned or absorbed but never destroried and the structures nearby were deviated but not involved.Fibrosarcoma showed such common CT manifestations as other malignant tumors in the same locations. Conclusion CT appearances of fibroma has some features, they are different from more common benign lesions.Fibrosarcoma can not be differeciated from other maglinant tumors, thier diagnosis must depend on pathology.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(04):-
Fifteen cases of periprosthetic femoral fractures of after total hip arthroplasty (THA) in Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Guangdong People’s Hospital between May 1997 and May 2007 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the classification of Vancouver, there was 1 case of type AG, one of type AL, 3 of type B1, 5 of type B2, 3 of type B2, and 2 of type C. Two cases of type A were treated with conventional method, and cases of type B1 and C were treated with open reduction and internal fixation. Cases of type B2 and B3 were treated with a long-stem cemented prosthesis revision plus allograft cortical strut bone. Through 3-12 months follow-up, all the fractures were healed, and bone allografting was successful, but with high rate of complications which were curable. The new prosthesis stem was fixed well. Excellent and good rate of Harris scores for hip joint was 73.3%. Therapy selection based on Vancouver classification for periprosthetic femoral fracture after total hip arthroplasty is an effective method.
