1.Synthesis of polylactic acid
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2008;12(23):4594-4596
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer, thus it is widely used in the medical area and is much more attractive. There are two main methods to synthetizing PLA, ring-opening polymerization of lactide and condensation polymerization of lactic acid. In this paper, the process of the new research of the PLA synthesis was reviewed. Beside, the PLA synthesis methods of reactive extrusion and direct melting polycondensation were introduced, which are two high efficiency methods. Finally, the foreground of PLA synthesis was prospected.

3.Exploration for the comprehensive management and psychological influence in children with asthma
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2001;(1):12-13
To explore the effect of comprehensive management on psychological influence in children with asthma, 60 cases with asthma was administrated by WHO global comprehensive strategy for the management of asthma including the persistent use of beclomethaone with the intermittent inhalation of salbutanmol, the lung function monitored by peak flow meter, the detection and avoidance of the induced factors, the management of the social education and the psychological intervention. All children on comprehensive management were followed one year for observation. The results showed that the rate of the total effect was 98.3%. There were all decrease significantly in the rate of the hospitalization, the rate of the emergency, and the rate of the absence for school. It was obvious that asthmatic children and their parents's confidence for the treatment of asthma enhanced significantly.Their psychological disturbance, the school grade, and the life quality were also obtained advanced improvement.
4.Vincristine inhibits HL-60 Cells proliferation by interfering the metabolism of phosphoinositides
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
Human promyelocytic leukemia HL - 60 cells labelled with 3H - inositol were treated with vincristine (VCR), it was found that the radioactivity of 3H-phosphatidyl inositol - 4-phosphate (PIP) and 3H - Phosphatidyli-nositol - 4,5 - bisphosphate(PIP2) had no obvious change, but that of 3H-phosphatidyl inositol (PI) decreased rapidly, only accounted for 38. 55%~61.01% of the control during 1~ 120 min of the treatment. It showed that VCRdid not affect the activity of PI kinase and PIP kinase, but enhanced the hydrolysis of PI of HL - 60 cells. The inhibitorty effect of VCR upon cell proliferation and DNA synthesis was observed after above biochemical changes, these results suggest that VCR may inhibit HL-60 cells proliferation by interfering the metabolism of phosphoininositides.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of escitalopram combined with xingnaojing in post-stroke depression (PSD).Methods Seventy-four cases with PSD were divided into treatment group (38 cases) and control group (36 cases) by random digits table, control group was given escitalopram, treatment group was given escitalopram and xingnaojing.Hamilton depression scale (HAMD),mental state examination (MMSE),memory quotient (MQ) and activities of daily life (ADL) score, clinical curative effect and adverse reaction were compared between 2 groups. Results The HAMD,MMSE,MQ,ADL score after treatment in 2 groups were significantly better than those before treatment [control group:(14.26 ± 2.61)scores vs.(29.73 ± 5.17) scores,(23.26 ± 3.75) scores vs.(21.24 ± 3.38) scores,(86.53 ± 6.49) scores vs.(82.35 ± 5.42) scores,(61.37 ± 3.72) scores vs.(45.32 ±4.48) scores;treatment group:(10.31 ± 2.08)scores vs.(29.57 ± 6.09) scores,(27.83 ± 4.31) scores vs.(21.63 ± 3.82) scores,(95.63 ± 6.41) scores vs.(82.30 ± 7.48) scores,(69.15 ± 6.39) scores vs.(45.27 ± 4.28) scores,P < 0.05].The HAMD,MMSE,MQ,ADL score after treatment in treatment group were significantly better than those in control group (P <0.05).The total effective rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group [97.4%(37/38) vs.86.1%(31/36),P < 0.05].There was no significant difference in rate of adverse reaction between 2 groups (P> 0.05).Conclusion Escitalopram combined with xingnaojing in PSD is effective and safe, and worth further clinical application promotion.

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 2003;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the cause and development of atrioventricular block (AVB) occurred during and after transcatheter closure of ventricular septal defect (VSD), and to explore its feasible prevention and treatment. Methods From Mar, 2005 to Dec, 2005, 157 patients who suffered from congenital VSD underwent transcatheter interventional occlusion. Transient Ⅲ degree AVB occurred in 2 patients during the transcatheter therapy and Ⅱ degree AVB in 2 patients and Ⅲ degree AVB in 3 patients were observed 4 hours to 8 days after the therapy. Two of them suffered from Adams-Stokes syndrome. All patients were treated by intravenous injection of glucocorticosteroid, diuretic and dehydrator. One of them was also treated with temporary pacing. Results AVB did not re-occurred after the transcatheter closure in 2 patients who suffered from transient Ⅲ degree AVB during the transcatheter interventional therapy. The cardiac rhythm in 3 patients who suffered from Ⅲ degree AVB after the transcatheter closure reverted to sinus rhythm in 7, 8 and 18 days after the operation respectively. However, 2 of them suffered recurrent Ⅲ degree AVB after discharge, and one of them could not be restored to sinus rhythm. Three patients who suffered from the Ⅱ degree AVB resumed to sinus rhythm in 5, 7 and 8 days after the transcatheter closure respectively, and the type Ⅰ and the type Ⅱ of Ⅱ degree AVB alternated before the rhythm completely reverted. Conclusion AVB is a frequent complication during and after transcatheter closure of VSD. AVB occurred after transcatheter occlusion should be treated actively, or it may become permanent AVB. Improving the cardiac transcatheter interventional device and technique can prevent the high degree AVB in certain degree.

BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cells have a extreme prospect in orthopedics, which show great potential especially in the treatment of articular cartilage defect disease. Bone marrow is the main source of mesenchymal stem cells, and the iliac puncture is a conventional way to obtain bone marrow, but is restricted by the limited resources and strict technical requirements. Therefore, it is of great significance to explore new effective and convenient sources of mesenchymal stem cells. OBJECTIVE:To explore the feasibility of autologous mesenchymal stem cells derived from the joint drainage fluid after knee arthroscopy.METHODS: We selected eight patients who underwent arthroscopic surgery to collect joint drainage fluid by pre-made sterile blood bag before the wound closure. Precipitation with hydroxyethyl starch and density gradient centrifugation method were performed to isolate and culture mesenchymal stem cells from the joint drainage fluid. Cell morphology, growth curve, surface marker identification were observed and detected using flow cytometry. Then, adipogenic, chondrogenic and osteogenic differentiation of cells were induced and identified by oil red O, toluidine blue staining, and alizarin red staining, respectively. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The cultured cells were spindle-shaped, adherently grew and had good proliferation ability, which were positive for CD44, CD90, CD105 and CD73, but not for CD45. Under standard inductions, the cultured cells were induced to differentiate into osteoblasts, adipocytes and chondrocytes. Therefore, these cells were confirmed as mesenchymal stem cells. Mesenchymal stem cells were successfully isolated from the joint drainage fluid of eight patients and had no difference in cell morphology, proliferation and phenotypes. To conclude, the joint drainage fluid is an ideal source of mesenchymal stem cells with the guaranteed quality and quantity.
