China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(06):-
Drug pair is the basic unit of compatibility of formulas.Through selecting the prescriptions of treating diseases of the liver in "Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases" and "Synopsis of Golden Chamber",we,according to therapeutic methods, classify the commonly used drug pairs in treatment of hepatic disease of ZHANG Zhong-jing into eight kinds:regulating the flow of liver-qi,promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis, dispersing pathogenic wind and calming liver wind, removing jaundice, clearing away liver-heat,expelling liver-cold and warming the liver, nourishing the liver, and harmonizing liver-spleen.And we try to find the compatibility law.
2.Efficacy of Evening Medication of Valsartan on Blood Pressure and Renal Function in Patients With Abnormal Nocturnal Blood Pressure
Chinese Circulation Journal 2017;32(5):457-460
Objective: To explore the efficacy of evening medication of amlodipine combining valsartan on blood pressure (BP) and renal function in patients with abnormal nocturnal blood pressure. Methods: A total of 87 abnormal nocturnal BP patients without ideal efficacy by 4 weeks amlodipine therapy were randomly divided into 2 groups: Control group, based on amlodipine therapy, the patients received morning valsartan (80-160) mg, qd, n=43 and Observation group, based on amlodipine therapy, the patients received evening valsartan (80-160) mg, qd, n=44. All patients were treated for 8 weeks. Pre- and post-medication BP at day and night were observed by 24h ambulatory BP monitoring, the renal function was measured and the incidence of adverse events was recorded. Results: In Observation group: compared with pre-medication, the average day and night systolic BP (SBP) and diastolic BP (DBP) were decrease at post-medication; compared with Control group, Observation group had the lower night SBP and DBP, P<0.05; the day SBP and DBP were similar between 2 groups after medication. At post-medication, compared with Control group, Observation group presented improved renal function as decreased blood levels of BUN, Cr, β2-MG and increased eGFR, all P<0.05. The incidence of adverse events were similar between Observation group and Control group (6.28% vs 4.65%), P>0.05. Conclusion: Evening medication of amlodipine combining valsartan may effectively control night BP and improve renal function in patients with abnormal nocturnal BP; it didn't elevate the incidence of adverse events.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(6):1129-1133
Celastrol is a type of quinone methyl triterpene isolated from traditional Chinese medicine Tripterygium wilfordii, with pharmacological activities, like anti-inflammatory, immunosuppression and anti-tumor. This study focused on the effects of celastrol on adhesion, migration and invasion of lung cancer cells. The migration inhibition of lung cancer cells induced by celastrol was detected by the scratch test. The invasion inhibition of lung cancer cells induced by celastrol was measured by the transwell experiment. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to determine the effect of different concentrations of celastrol in integrin family and Akt signaling pathway in lung cancer cells. The results showed that celastrol inhibited adhesion, migration and invasion of lung cancer cells and expressions of integrins β3, β4, αv and phosphorylated Akt, GSK-3β, c-Raf, PDK1 in Akt signal pathway in a dose-dependent manner. Therefore, the study implies that Celastrol could inhibit the metastasis of lung cancer cells by suppressing Akt signaling pathway and expression of integrins.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To observe the influence of standardized deep well water on mortality and morbidity of esophageal cancer (EC) in Linzhou. In order to test the hypothesis of "nitrogenous compound metabolised cycling" in etiology of EC. Methods Based on the investigation data collected in 1999 among which some data were from Linzhou Institute of Prevention and Treatment of EC. Three kinds of water were included, standardized deep well water(SDWW) from the well with the depth exceeding 100 meters ,finished time exceeding 6 years; unstandardized deep well water(UDWW) and mountain spring water(MSW). The mortality and morbidity of EC in the the related population. Results There were 281 458 villagers of 165 villages to drink SDWW, 183 289 villagers of 129 villages to drink UDWW and 45 274 villagers of 50 villages to drink MSW. The morbidity and mortality of EC significantly decreased in residents who drank the SDWW compared with those who drank the UDWW and MSW, P

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2015;(2):105-106
Purpose] This paper aims to summarize the clinical practice of using Buzhong Yiqi Decoction to treat the obstructed nine orifices. [Approach] After explaining Li Dongyuan’s theory that those obstructed nine orifices reflecting headaches and tinnitus are caused by intestines and stomach diseases, which is in his Suwen On Deficiency and Excess and analyzing several simple cases of using buzhong yiqi decoction to treat the obstructed nine orifices, this paper tries to trace the theoretical origin of Prof. Lian’s practice and present the practical experience of flexible usage of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction. [Result] The outcome of several patients under treatment shows that the short-and-mid-term treatment is very effective. [Conclusion] Prof. Lian’s philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine reflects his attitude that “those patients suffering from insufficiency of primordial Qi and clear Yang failing to distribute”or“clear Yang coming out of stomach”ask for strengthening the spleen and stomach so their stomach recovers to the healthy state. As a result, their Yang Qi has been greatly improved, the spleen and stomach in the middle energizer have returned to their original place, reaching the autonomous regulation of the nine orifices, which has shed some light on the usefulness of Buzhong Yiqi on treatment diseases other than those of spleen and stomach.
