China Medical Equipment 2014;(11):117-118,119
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of left left atrial function for the healthy by using real-time three plane ultrasonic imaging in.Methods: The three plane real-time ultrasound imaging was used for evaluation healthy people of left atrial function in 32 adults (including storage volume of left atrium, left atrial pipeline volume, left ventricular ejection fraction). At the same time, the two-dimensional echocardiography was also used to detect the parameters which were to compare two methods of correlation and consistency. Results:Two methods of ultrasonic examination in LARV, LACV and LVEF indicators have no obvious difference; LARV, LACV and LAEF in three plane image and two-dimensional ultrasound images show good correlation, the correlation coefficient rLARV=0.82, rLACV=0.85, rLVEF=0.88,P<0.05).Conclusion:Real-time three plane ultrasound imaging and two-dimensional echocardiography in the assessment of left atrial function of normal people have a good correlation.
3.Effect of aurora kinase B inhibitor AZD1152 in the treatment of cisplatin-resistant ovarian carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2013;(1):46-50
Objective To investigate whether AZD1152 (AZD),the selective inhibitor of aurora kinase B,may play a role in the treatment of cisplatin-resistant ovarian carcinoma when administrated alone or in combination with cisplatin. Methods Hey (cisplatin-resistant ovarian cancer cell line) cells were analyzed.According to the treatment plan,Hey cells were divided into four groups (AZD group, cisplatin group,AZD + cisplatin group and control group).Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay was used to test the cells proliferation,caspase-3/7 activity analysis was used to analyze cells apoptosis, and fluorescence insitu hybridization (FISH) assay was used to determine the copy the number of chromosome 7 and checked the copy numbers of hTERC gene and C-myc gene. Results MTT test showed that proliferation of AZD group was lower than that in control group(P < 0.01).The cells proliferation with the treatment with 10 and 20 nmol/L AZD for 24 hours was (81.4 ± 3.6)% and (81.4 ± 3.6)% respectively, and the cells proliferation for 48 hours was (43.1 ± 2.0) % and (38.5 ± 1.6) % respectively, which was significantly lower than control group (100%,P < 0.01) ; Treated with the same concentration of AZD,inhibition of proliferation was significantly enhanced as the time extended (P < 0.01).Proliferation in group AZD+cisplatin was lower than that in cisplatin group (P < 0.01) which suggest that there were additive effects after combined AZD with cisplatin.Compared with control group,caspase-3/7 activity in AZD group increased significantly (P =0.000),and the same results was seen between AZD ± cisplatin group and cisplatin group or AZD group (all P < 0.01).Compared with cisplatin group or control group, the copy numbers of hTERC,C-myc and the number of chromosome were significantly increased in AZD group and AZD + cisplat group (all P < 0.05).Conclusions AZD could inhibite ovarian cancer cells proliferation and induce cells apoptosis significantly.AZD alone or in combination with cisplatin may result in the increased cells polyploidy.
4.Congenital and acquired lipodystrophies
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(20):1533-1537
Lipodystrophies represent a heterogeneous group of diseases characterized by varying degrees of body fat loss and predisposition to insulin resistance and metabolic complications such as diabetes mellitus,hypertrigly-ceridemia and hepatic steatosis. The lipodystrophies can be divided into generalized, partial or local, depending on the degree and locality of the observable fat loss;moreover, the generalized and partial divisions can be partitioned further into congenital or acquired forms. Until now,11 genetic factors including AGPAT2,BSCL2,CAVI,PTRF,PPARG, LMNA,ZMPSTE24,AKT2,CIDEC,PLINI and WRN were reported to be involved in congenital lipodystrophies. The most prevalent subtype of acquired lipodystrophy currently occurs with prolonged duration of protease inhibitor - contai-ning,highly - active antiretroviral therapy in human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)- infected patients. Other types of acquired lipodystrophies are mainly autoimmune in origin and display complement abnormalities. The current manage-ment includes cosmetic surgery and early identification and treatment of metabolic and other complications with diet, exercise, hypoglycemic drugs, and lipid - lowering agents. Metreleptin treatment demonstrated remarkable clinical effect and good tolerance.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the effects of icariin on the expressions of osteoprotegerin(OPG)and receptor activator of nuclear factor-kB ligand(RANKL)mRNA in rat osteoblasts cultured in vitro. Methods Calvarial osteoblasts were obtained from newborn SD rats aged<24 h by trypsin-collagenase digestion method. After treatment with different concentrations of icariin(10~(-10)-10~(-4) mol/L)for 48 h,total RNA was isolated from osteoblasts.Expressions of OPG and RANKL mRNA were detected by semiquantitative RT-PCR.Results Icariin remarkably increased OPG mRNA levels and decreased RANKL mRNA levels in calvarial osteoblasts in a dose- dependent fasion with a maximum effect at a concentration of 10~(-7)mol/L(P<0.05).Osteoblasts pre-treated with icariin prevented the inhibitory effect of dexamethasone on OPG mRNA(0.570?0.093 vs 1.083?0.081)and the stimulative effect on RANKL mRNA(1.079?0.050 vs 0.718?0.082)(both P<0.05).Conclusion Icariin upregulates OPG expression and downregulates RANKL expression in osteoblasts, which may explain the beneficial role of icariin in preventing and treating osteoporosis.

Objective To quantify the effect of gradual respiratory functional training on the lung function and quality of life (QOL) of patients convalescing from Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). Methods Thirty-two GBS patients were randomly divided into two groups a control group which received routine nursing and a respiratory function training group. The training was in three stages:thoracic or/and abdominal respiration, deep breathing and respiratory exercise. After 2 and 4 months of treatment, the 16 min walk test and the SF-36 health questionnaire were used to evaluate the subjects' lung function, motor capacity and QOL. Results After 2 and 4 months of treatment, vital capacity (VC),forced vital capacity (FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and maximal ventilatory volume (MVV) had all improved significantly in the training group.Their 6 min walk distances and QOL ( in all 8 domains) had also improved significantly. The average VC.FVC.FEV1 and MVV in the control group all decreased slightly but the decreases were not significant.Their 6 min walk distances had improved significantly, however,as had the physical function, mental health.psychological role, physical pain and integrated health domains of their QOL. Conclusion Training the respiratory functional of GBS patients during convalescence can prevent the lung function decay due to muscle weakness, and can also improve motor ability and QOL.
