Ophthalmology in China 2006;0(06):-
Treatment options of retinoblastoma should be individualized. Patients with early intraocular stage may be managed with focal treatments, including cryotherapy, thermotherapy, laser photocoagulation, brachytherapy and so on. Patients with middle in- traocular stage may be treated with chemoreduction plus focal therapy. In patients with advanced stage, enucleation and chemotherapy are recommended, with the addition of orbital radiation for patients with extraocular retinoblastoma. Patients with systemic metastases require intensive chemotherapy and consolidation with autologous hematopoietic stem cell rescue.

Object To study the low polarity constituents of Gastrodia elata Blume Methods The constituents were isolated by column with prepared TLC, and identified by NMR, MS spectra Results Seven compounds were isolated and identified They were p hydroxybenzyl ethyl ether (Ⅰ), ? sitosterol (Ⅱ), palmitic acid (Ⅲ), 2, 2′ methylenebis (6 tert butyl 4 methylphenl) (Ⅳ), p hydroxy benzyl methyl ether (Ⅴ), dimethyl phthalate (Ⅵ), p hydroxybenz aldehyde (Ⅶ) Conclusion Two compounds were isolated from G elata firstly, and compound Ⅳ as tetra benzol dimer is also isolated from the plants of Gastrodia R. Br. and Orchidaceae for the first time

Objective To study the high polar constituents of Gastrodia elata. Methods The constituents were isolated by macroporous resin column chromatography combined with preparative HPLC and identified by spectral analyses and physico-chemical properties comparisons. Results Ten compounds were isolated from H2O and 20% EtOH fractions eluted from resin column and their structures were identified as citric acid monoethyl ester(Ⅰ),uridine(Ⅱ),adenine(Ⅲ),dactylose A(Ⅳ),uracil(Ⅴ),tyrosine(Ⅵ),N2-(p-hydroxybenzyl) guanosine(Ⅶ),1-isoferuloyl-?-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅷ),4-(?-D-glucopyranosyloxy) benzaldehyde(Ⅸ),and p-hydroxyl benzoic acid(Ⅹ).Conclusion Compound Ⅶ is a new compound named gastronucleoside.Other nine compounds are isolated from G.elata for the first time.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of interventional therapy for the atherosclerotic renal artery occlusion (ARAO). Methods During the period of June 2001-Dec. 2007, 16 patients with ARAO (total of 16 occluded arteries) underwent interventional managements, including percutaneous endovascular renal artery revascularization, balloon dilatation angioplasty and stent placement. Follow-up survey was made at regular intervals. The patent condition of the renal artery was evaluated with ultrasonography and digital subtraction angiography. The blood pressure and the renal function were determined and the data were statistically analyzed in order to assess the intermediate and long-term effect of the interventional therapy. Results Of 16 patients, technical success was achieved in 15 (93.8%) and failure occurred in one. During a follow-up period of 9 - 24 months, 3 patients died. According to the data obtained at each patient’s last follow-up survey, the hypertension fell to normal in 3 (25.0%), was improved in 7 (58.3%) and showed no marked change in 2 patients (16.7%), with a clinical efficacy of 83.3% (10 / 12). The renal function was improved in 2 (16.7%), stabilized in 6 (50%) and deteriorated in 4 patients (33.3%), with an effective rate of 66.7% (8 / 12). Conclusion For the treatment of atherosclerotic renal artery occlusion, the interventional therapy carries high successful rate and can effectively lower the blood pressure level, in addition, it can also protect the renal function in a certain degree.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(06):-
AIM: To establish the method of determining cinobufagin and resibufogenin in Xinkening Capsules(Venenum Bufonis,etc.). METHODS: HPLC was applied to determining cinobufagin and resibufogenin. The determination was carried out using an ODS column with a solvent system: methanol-water(50∶40).The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,detection wavelength was at 296 nm. RESULTS: The linear ranges of cinobufagin and resibufogenin were 3.5 ?g-0.28 ?g and 3.75 ?g-0.30 ?g,respectively. The average recoveries of cinobufagin and resibufogenin were 99.86%(RSD=1.8%,n=5),and 99.84%(RSD=1.2%,n=5),respectively. CONCLUSION: This method is simple, accurate with strong specificity and can be used to control the quality of Xinkening Capsules.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(4):354-358
Objective To investigate the changes and significance of the serum myeloperoxidase (MPO) and lipoxin (LXA4) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods From December 2010 to February 2011,143 patients with CHD (CHD group) and 44 patients without CHD (control group) were selected. The serum high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), MPO and LXA4 levels were assessed, and the ratio of MPO and LXA4 (M/L) was calculated. These indexes were compared between 2 groups. The influencing factors of MPO, LXA4 and M/L levels were analyzed by multifactor Logistic regression analysis. Results The serum levels of hs-CRP, LXA4, MPO, and M/L in CHD group were significantly higher than those in control group: 3.25 mg/L vs. 0.99 mg/L, 229.88 ng/L vs. 178.63 ng/L, 422.58 U/L vs. 186.85 U/L and (1.78 ± 0.52) U/ng vs. (1.02 ± 0.17) U/ng, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). Multifactor Logistic regression analysis result showed: LXA4 level, unstable angina, acute myocardial infarction and severe elevation of white blood cell count were the impact factors for the elevation of MPO (P<0.01 or<0.05);there were no correlations between MPO level and stable angina, mild and midrange elevation of white blood cell count (P>0.05). MPO was the impact factor for the increase of LXA4 (P<0.01), and stable angina was the impact factor for the decline of LXA4 (P =0.019);there were no correlations between LXA4 level and unstable angina, acute myocardial infarction and other factors (P>0.05). Stable angina, unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction were the impact factors for the elevation of M/L (P<0.01); there were no correlations between M/L and other factors (P>0.05). Conclusions The inflammatory response in patients with CHD is accompanied by the presence of inflammation and resolution imbalance.
