4.Oral cavity delivery system of unfractionated and low molecular weight heparin.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2010;45(10):1317-21
The difference between absorption of unfractionated heparin (UFH) and low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) after oral and oral cavity administration were studied respectively, and the compatible enhancer for oral cavity delivery system of both drugs was found. The LMWH and UFH films were prepared with two bioadhesive materials Carbopol and alginate sodium for oral cavity delivery. The activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) was used to determine LMWH and UFH in plasma after oral, oral cavity and sc administration in rats. The results show that the enhancer (Labrasol) can increase the absorption of LMWH and UFH through oral cavity in rats but not obviously. The oral cavity iontophoretic delivery system is a useful method to improve the absorption of LMWH and UFH through oral cavity mucosa.
5.Using a new type of inflatable boot in the rehabilitation of Danis-Weber type-A ankle fractures
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2010;32(6):431-434
Objective To test the utility of a new type of inflatable rehabilitation boot in the treatment of Danis-Weber type-A stable external malleolus fractures. Methods Fifty-four patients with stable external malleolus fractures were randomized into two groups. After closed reduction, the observation group was treated by immobilisation with the inflatable rehabilitation boot and the control group with a plaster slab. All were instructed to avoid weight-bearing on the affected side. The swelling volume of the injured limb was measured by drainage measurement before treatment and at the 1st, 3rd and 7th days after treatment. Pain was evaluated using a visual analogue scale (VAS) score before treatment and after 12, 24 and 72 hours. All of the ankles were x-rayed to recheck for displacement after 2weeks. Results The average volume of the injured limbs in the observation group was significantly less than in the control group at every time point. The average VAS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group. Fracture displacement in the observation group was also significantly better. Conclusions The inflatable rehabilitation boot has better curative efficacy than the typical plaster slab for patients with stable external malleolus fractures in terms of improving edema in the injured limb, relieving pain and preventing fracture displacement.
6.Correlation of methylation of E-cad gene with gastrointestinal cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(2):145-147
The methylation of CpG island in promoter region of E-cad gene which usually leads to inactivation of E-cad gene is closely related to the occurrence, development, invasion, metastasis and prognosis of a variety of gastrointestinal cancer, such as esophageal carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocellular carcinoma, carcinoma of gallbladder, pancreatic carcinoma and colorectal cancer. Further study would probably guide the early diagnosis, gene therapy, prophylaxis and predicting recurrence of tumor metastasis of gastrointestinal cancer.

Results:The observation from fluorescent microscope showed the green fluorescent was obviously observed in the cytoplasm , western-blotting showed the expression level of egfp-hri fusion gene increased by 83%and 81%, as compared with those uninfected cells and in the cells infected with empty vector, respectively. Conclusion:The infected NIH3T3 cells can express egfp-hri fusion protein successfully.
8.18F-FDG PET/CT in Diagnosis of Small Intestinal Malignant Neoplasm
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2015;(1):19-22
Purpose To analyze the 18F-FDG PET/CT features of small intestinal malignant neoplasm, and to discuss the diagnosis value. Materials and Methods Forty-seven patients who were highly suspected with small intestinal tumors underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT whole body scan were retrospectively analyzed, the results of PET/CT examinations and the findings of biopsy and surgical pathology were compared. The maximum of intestinal wall thickness (IWTmax) and maximum of standardized uptake value (SUVmax) were calculated to analyze the relationship of them under different pathological conditions. Results Six out of the 47 small intestinal tumors were benign, the other 41 were malignant tumors among which 19 were malignant lymphoma and 17 were adenocarcinoma. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy rate, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in the diagnosis of small intestinal malignant neoplasm were 92.7%, 83.3%, 91.5%, 97.4% and 62.5%, respectively. Compared with those of benign tumors, the SUVmax and IWTmax of malignant intestinal tumors were significantly higher (t=5.596 and 2.376, P<0.05). The SUVmax in small bowel adenocarcinoma was significantly lower than that in malignant lymphoma (t=2.419, P<0.05);the IWTmax. between the two kinds of tumors showed no difference (t=0.369, P>0.05). The SUVmax and IWTmax of small intestinal malignant lymphoma had no correlation (r=0.293, P>0.05), whilst there was significant correlation between the IWTmax and SUVmax in small intestinal adenocarcinoma (r=0.542, P<0.05). Conclusion The SUVmax and IWTmax of malignant intestinal tumors are higher than those of benign intestinal tumors; 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging is rather reliable in differentiating small intestinal malignant tumors from benign ones. Intestinal malignant lymphoma shows a higher uptake of 18F-FDG than intestinal adencarcinoma, but the intestinal wall thickness of the two kinds shows no difference.
