Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Objective To know water quality of different sectors of Yangtse River after the Three Gorges reservoir kept 135 m water level. Methods Eight locations in six cities sectors(Fengdu,Wushan) of Yangtse River were selected as the monitor point and water samples were collected according to the related national standard (GB12997,1991). 96 samples were collected in May and August, 16 parameters (pH, DO, BOD5, CODCr, Ar,OH, TCN,As, Hg, Cr6+, oil, Pb, Cd, NH3,N, TP, TN, CODMn) of every sample were detected based on the methods documented in the related national standards and compared the results with the results of past years. Results 135 m water level had no significant influence on the water quality of different sectors of Yangtse River(II, III grade). Water quality had no significant change before and after 135 m water level emerged the primary contaminations which effect water quality were total nitrogen and total phosphors. Conclusion No significant change of water quality of Yangtse River has been seen after the Three Gorges reservoir kept 135 m water level.
3.Fibrin glue application in breast surgery:a Meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(38):6228-6232
BACKGROUND:Fibrin glue has been widely used in breast surgery, but due to the limitation of cases, there are some differences in clinical effects.
OBJECTIVE:To systemicaly review the clinical effect of fibrin glue in breast surgery.
METHODS: We searched China Journal Ful-text Database (CNKI), VIP database, Wanfang Database for clinical randomized controled trials related to fibrin glue used in breast surgery published from March 2002 to March 2014. A Meta-analysis was done in included studies using Rev Man 5.2 statistical software.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A total of 11 studies, with 1 043 cases, were enroled for the Meta-analysis. Meta-analysis showed that the postoperative 1-day drainage amount and total drainage amount were significantly lower in the fibrin glue group than the control group [WMD=-85.62, 95%CI(-128.86,-42.39), P=0.000 1;WMD=-167.27, 95%CI (-210.05,-124.49),P < 0.000 01]. In addition, the fibrin glue group was superior to the control group in the postoperative seroma rate [OR=0.30, 95%CI (0.21, 0.44),P< 0.000 01]. Application of fibrin glue in breast cancer surgery can significantly reduce postoperative drainage and seroma rate.
4.Transforming growth factor-beta 3 induces differentiation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells into fibrochondrocytes
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(49):8570-8575
BACKGROUND:The repair of temporomandibular joint disc is stil a great clinical chal enge. Pluripotent adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells bring a hope for fibrocartilage tissue repair. Up to now, there are few studies concerning transforming growth factor-β3 to induce differentiation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells into fibrochondrocytes.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the growth and morphology of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells under the induction of transforming growth factor-β3.
METHODS:We observed the morphology of fibrochondrocytes differentiated from adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells under the induction of transforming growth factor-β3. Histological and immunofluorescence staining were employed to detect the expression of extracellular matrix Ⅰ, Ⅱ col agens and proteoglycansthe produced by adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells. We also evaluated the feasibility of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells as seed cells for fibrocartilage tissue engineering.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Under the inverted fluorescence microscope, induced cells showed obvious aggregation growth, polygonal shape, and increased secretion of extracellular matrix. Alcian blue staining results showed that under the induction of transforming growth factor-β3, adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells exhibited the distinctly deep blue, indicating a large number of glycosaminoglycan was synthesized. Immunostaining results showed that under the induction of transforming growth factorβ3, adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells synthesized extracellular matrix Ⅰ, Ⅱ col agen. These findings suggest that transforming growth factorβ3 can induce adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells to differentiate into fibrouscartilage-like cells, and that adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells can serve as seed cells for fibrocartilage tissue engineering.
5.Risk factors and the current pharmacotherapy situation of diabetic macular edema
International Eye Science 2015;(2):228-232
Diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) due to disturbance of carbohydrate metabolism is the most serious ocular complication in patients with diabetic disease, and diabetic macular edema ( DME) is one of the main causes of vision loss. lt is considered that many factors are involved in DME pathological process. DME is defined as an abnormal thickening of the macular associated with the accumulation of excess fluid in the extracellular space of the neurosensory retina. Nowadays, the main treatment methods of DME include pharmacotherapy, laser photocoagulation and surgery. lnflammatory components within the vascular tissue play an important role in the development of DME, so drug therapy is an important method for DME. ln this review, we summarized the risk factors and the current pharmacotherapy situation of DME.

To study the effects of the extract of fungal elicitor, AgNO3, MeJA and yeast on the growth and content of secondary metabolites of adventitious roots in Tripterygium wilfordii. The above elicitors were supplemented to the medium, the growth and the content of secondary metabolites were measured. When the medium was supplemented with the elicitor Glomerella cingulata or Collectotrichum gloeosporioides, the content of triptolide was increased by 2.24 and 1.93-fold, the alkaloids content was increased by 2.02 and 2.07-fold, respectively. The optimal concentration of G. cingulata was 50 μg/mL for accumulation of triptolide, alkaloids and for the growth of adventitious roots. AgNO3 inhibited the growth of adventitious roots and the accumulation of the alkaloids, whereas it (at 25 μmol/L) increased the accumulation of triptolide by 1.71-fold compared to the control. The growth of adventitious roots, the contents of triptolide and alkaloids were increased 1.04, 1.64 and 2.12-folds, respectively when MeJA was at 50 μmol/L. When the concentration of yeast reached 2 g/L, the content of triptolide increased 1.48-folds. This research demonstrated that supplementation of AgNO3 and yeast enhanced the biosynthesis of triptolide in adventitious roots and the synergism of G. cingulata and MeJA could promote the biosynthesis of both triptolide and alkaloids.

China Pharmacy 2017;28(23):3247-3250
OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of rivaroxaban and low molecular weight heparin calcium (LMWHA)in the prevention of deep venous thrombosis(DVT)after total hip arthroplasty(THA). METHODS:A total of 100 THA patients selected from orthopedics department of our hospital as research objects were divided into control group and observa-tion group according to random number table, with 50 cases in each group. Control group was treated with LMWHA injection 0.4 mL subcutaneously,qd;observation group was given Rivaroxaban tablet 10 mg orally,qd. Both groups received treatment on the first day after surgery, for consecutive 14 d. Coagulation indexes(PT,APTT,Fib,TT,D-D),VAS score, the incidence of DVT and PE were observed in 2 groups. The postoperative bleeding volume and ADR as hematoma and gastrointestinal bleeding were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in coagulation indexes or VAS scores between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment,PT,APTT,TT and D-D levels,VAS scores of 2 groups were decreased sig-nificantly,while Fib levels were increased significantly;VAS score of observation group was significantly lower than that of con-trol group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in coagulation indexes between 2 groups (P>0.05). The incidence of DVT and PE in observation group were 8.00% and 7.50% ,which were significantly lower than 12.00% and 4.00% of control group, with no statistical significance(P>0.05). The postoperative bleeding volume of observation group was(298.31±52.18)mL,which was significantly lower than(327.40±54.20)mL of control group, with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of hematoma or gastrointestinal bleeding between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Rivaroxaban and LMWHA can significantly improve coagulation state, prevent the generation of DVT after THA. While rivaroxaban is better in shortening pain time without increasing the risk of ADR.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2013;30(6):1272-1275
The aim of this study was to obtain the alginate gels which could have proper compressive strength and excellent permeability for cell proliferation and could have more promising potentials in the application of tissue engineering. Through the reaction of the carboxyl of the alginate and the amino of methacrylic acid, methylacrylic was generated into alginate long chain which could be enhanced by the polymerization of double bond under thermal reaction condition. And then alginate gel beads were prepared using the mixture of calcium chloride and barium chloride solution as cationic crosslinker, and the compressive modulus and permeability of the prepared alginate gel beads were investigated. When the ratio of barium ions to calcium ions was 5:5, the compression modulus was 189.7 kPa, and it showed the best permeability for trypsin with molecular weight of 24 kDa and entrapment effect for bovine serum albumin with molecular weight of 67 kDa. Compared to compositions of other ratios, the alginate gel beads made in 5:5 mixture indicated excellent compressive modulus and permeability. These results indicated that the alginate hydrogel beads with the ratio of barium ions to calcium ions being 5:5 have a potential application in tissue engineering as a support material and encapsulating materials in cell culture.

10.THE EFFECT OF CAPTOPRIL ON THE DYNAMIC CHANGES OF PLASMA A Ⅱ FOLLOWING MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION IN RATS
Hailong LIN ; Liquan LEI ; Xing LU
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Plasma A Ⅱ_2 was measured dynamicly by radioimmunoassay in rats after myocardial infarction, and its responses to captopril were studied too. The results showed that after myocardial infarction the concentraction of A Ⅱ rose markedly at first day, but it was sustained briefly and at third day , fell to the level before infarction. Plasma A Ⅱ decreased and was sustained at the almost unchanged level during Long—term captopril administra—tion in rats with infarction.
