We observe changes of activation of hepatic microsomal cytochrome p-450, changes of formation of riug-and N-hydroxylation of 2-acetylaminofluorene, and changes of vitamin D, in the liver which exposed to UV light and expoeed to UV light after being applied by sunscreens. The results of our study are as shown below: 1. The contents of hepatic microsomal cytochrome p-45p of newborn rats were found to be remarkably increase in the group exposed to UV light for 3 weeks (p<0. 001), but such changes were much reduced in the group exposed to UV light for 3 weeks after being applied by sunscreens(p<0.05. p<0.001, ) 2.Cytochrome p-450 induced by UV light was found to be significantly increased ring and N-hydroxylation of 2-acetylarninofluorene known as carcinogenic source for the liver. In the group exposed to UV light for 3 weeks after being applied by sunscreens, both of ring-and N-hydroxylation of 2-acetylaminofluorene were significantly reduced(p<0. 0, p<0. 001). 3, The contents of vitarnin D, in the liver of newborn rats were found to be gradually increased when they were exposed to UV light for 1 week or 3 weeks (p<0. 001), and in the group exposed to UV light after being applied by sunscreens, such changes were reduced remarkably(pg0. (301).

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1985;23(5):696-700
Porokeratosis is a familial, chronic, progressive disorder which demonstrates a characteristic clinical and histologic picture. Since Mibelli described three cases in 1893, several clinical variants have been identified, all of which are delineated by a diagnostic histopathologic pattern. We reported a case of atypical linear porokeratosis that had three types of skin lesions. One was the plaque type, as originally described by Mibelli. And others were atypical lesions, as papules and verrucoid hyperkeratotic plaques.

Linear porokeratosis is a rare variant of porokeratosis and usually occurs in childhood. A 37-year-old female is presented with linear porokeratosis on the posterior aspeet of the right lower extremity exhibiting the classical histopathologic criteria of the disease. Treatment with an oral etretinate resulted in a remission of the lesions.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1986;24(2):330-334
Hepatitis B virus is of growing clinical importance. This virus not only produces acute and chronic liver disease but also produces a variety of dermatologic syndromes. A 77-year-old man with erythematous urticarial-like papulonodules had a chronic active hepatitis. And microscopic findings were compatible with allergic vasculitis. We reported a case of allergic vasculitis associated with chronic active hepatitis and reviewed literatures briefly.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1983;21(4):401-407
A statistical evaluation was made on 248 patients who were consulted to the Department of Dermatology during the disabled patients admission in Korea Veterans Hospital from July 1, 1980 to June 30, 1982. The resuIts were as followings: l. Among the 248 disabled patients, the most common patients, who constituted 68. 8% of the total, were amputee of lower extremity (25.2%), patient of posttraumatic osteoarthritis (23. 2/) and paraplegia (20. 4%). 2. In age distribution, the most frequent age groups were 50 to 59 years, 42, 4, and the lowest age groups were 60 to 69 years, 4. 0g. 3. The 6 most common dermatoses were Eczema (36. 8%), Fungal infection (33. 6%), Drug eruption (8. 0%), Acne vulgaris (6. 4%), Urticaria and Scabies (3. 2% each). 4. In seasonal distribution, the highest incidence (32. %) occurred on winter, and the lowest incidence (14. 0%) on Spring. Eczema was prevalent during Autumn and Winter season and Fungal infection during Summer season. -countinue-

A 31-year-old female patient has had a translucent cystic papule on the genitalia since 2 years ago. The diagnosis was confirmed by clinical and histopathological findings. This is the rare case of apocrine hidrocystoma occring in the fernale genitalia in the literature.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1987;25(1):115-118
Tricilemmoma is a benign, solitary tumor that may be clinically misdiagnosed as basal cell carcinoma or verruca. It affects frequently the face of elderly rnen. We present herein a case of trichilemrnoma in a 70-year-old Korean wornan who had a slowly growing tumor on the scalp for 50 years. The histopathologic findings revealed lobular acanthosis of glycogeri rich clear cells and palisade of columnar cells resting on prominent basement membrane.

A 17-year-old high School boy showed multiple, various sized, grayish or violaceous scaly verrucous plaques on the entire body including the oral mucosa, both soles and palms. We considered this is the first case that involves entire body including the oral mucosa, both soles and palms in dermatologic literatures. We reported this case and reviewed briefly literature

The Cianotti-Crosti syndrome was first described by Gianotti in 1955 as a self- limited illness that was associated with generalized lymphadenopathy and a mild hepatitis-like syndrome. In 1970, De Gaspari et al and Gianotti reported that this syndrome is always associated with HBs antigenernia. We reported a case of typical Gianotti-Crosti syndrome associated with acute anicteric hepatitis occurred in a -month-old boy and reviewed briefly some literatures.

A case of "Follicular Occlusion Triad" associated with acne conglobata, hidradenitis suppurativa and perifolliculitis capitis abscedens et suffodiens in 40-year-old male patient is presented with brief review of literature. Widespread acne occured on the face k upper back at the age of 16. Several years later, firm & tender erythematous poorly demarcated nodules developed on the back, buttock and axilla. Also, erythematous nodules developed on temporooccipital area of the scalp. Thereafter, the skin lesions become fluctuant cystic. Some of the skin lesions healed leaving severe hypertrophic scars, and purulent materials expressed from some of persistent lesions. The patient was trested with systemic 13-cis-retinoic acid, antibiotics, corticosteroids injection and incision & drainage with considerable improvement.
