This study was performed with the purpose of histochemical comparison of CEA and EMA localization between adenoma and well-differentiated adenocarcinoma of the stomach. The specimen was 12 lesions of adenoma and 15 foci of well-differentiated adenocarcinoma of the stomach. The markers in neoplastic tissue and neighbouring mucosa of the tumors were examined in paraffin sections using peroxidase-antiperoxidase method. The data obtained were evaluated statistically. The results were summarized as follows: 1) In 12 lesions of stomach adenoma, the positive reaction to CEA was seen in 3 lesions (20.0%), and to EMA in 10 lesions (83.3%). The positive rate of CEA in adenoma was lower than that of the neighbouring normal mucosa, but the positive rate of EMA was similar between the two. 2) In 15 foci of well-differentiated adenocarcinoma of the stomach, the positive reaction to CEA was seen in 13 foci (86.7%), and to EMA in 12 foci (80.0%). The positive rate of CEA in well-differentiated adenocarcinoma was higher than that of the neighbouring normal mucosa, while the positive rate of EMA was similar to each other. 3) Immunoreactivity to CEA in adenocarcinoma showed good positive correlation with the development of cuticular border of the neoplastic glands, while reactivity to EMA in adenocarcinoma was not related with the development of cuticular border. 4) The positive rate and intensity of CEA reaction in adenocarcinoma were higher than those in adenoma, but the positive rate and reactiveity of EMA were similar to those of adenoma. 5) The positive rate of CEA or EMA in the neighbouring mucosa of adenoma was not different compared with those in the neighbouring mucosa of adenocarcinoma. With the above results, it is concluded that adenoma and adenocarcinoma of the stomach may be different each other, biologically, and further more, it is presumable that adenoma may not be a premalignant lesions. It is considered that examination of CEA immunoreactivity may be helpful in differentiated of adenoma from well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, in most cases.

Cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita, which was first described by Van Lehuizen in 1922, is characterized by the presence at birth of a persistent cut;is marmorata pattern, phlebectasia, spider nevus-like telangiectasia, and areas of ulceration and steady improvernent with time. We reported a case of cutis mar.morata telangiectatica. congenita occuring in a 70 days old female infant showing the reticulated mottling and atrophy of the skin on the both lower extremites, right upper extremity, abdomen and buttock muscle weakening of right upper extremity and left lower extremity compare with the opposite side. Skin lesions were much improved during the observation period of 10 months without any other specific treatment except hermiatrophy of right upper extremity.

A 56-year- old man showed millet seed to egg sized, yellowish tender papules, subcutaneous mass on the both elbows, dorsa of both hands & feet, and lateral malleoli and helix of right ear for 6 years. the significant laboratory findings were leukocytosis, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, glycosuria, hyperuricemia and increased blood glucose level. X-ray findings of both hands & feet demonstrated gouty arthritic patterns. Histopathologic findings of the left lateral malleolar lesion revealed the typical patterns. Histopathologic findings of the left lateral malleolar lesion revealed the typical pattern of gout with needle-shaped urate crystal. Therapy was begun with colchicine & allopurinol but the patient died of renal failure three weeks after the start of therapy.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1983;21(4):409-413
The idiopathic calcinosis of the scrotum which was first described by Shapiro et al. in 1970 is usually multiple, asymptomatic nodules of the scrotal skin and is easily misdiagnosed clinically as calcified epidermal inclusion cyst or pilar cyst. We present three cases of the idiopathic calcinosis of the scrotum. Clinically these three patients showed slightly yellowish papules or nodules in the scrotum without any other cutaneous disorders and subjective symptoms except mild itching sensation in one case. Histopathologically calcium deposits were found in the dermis without any evidence of residual cysts, and partial foreign body reaction was seen around the calcified area in one case. Laboratory findings including serum calcium, phosphorous and potassium level were within normal limits.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1985;21(3):454-465
The total 223 cases of tetralogy of Fallot is analysed angiographically, in which selective biplanecinecardioangiography with axial projection has been done at the Departement of Radiology, Seoul National University Hopital, in recent 2 year and 4 months, with specific refrence to the location of pulmonic stenosis, and associated cardiac anomalies. The summary of the analysis is as follow; 1. Left ventriculogram (long axialoblique view) was necessary to detect the ventricular septal defects including anterior marginal VSD, and washelpful to identify the coronary artery anatomy and presence of PDA and evaluate the size of left ventricle. 2.Right ventriculogram(elongated RAO view) was the best projection for the demonstration of pulmonic infundibulumand was essential to differenciate and localize the ventricular septal defects. 3.In the right ventriculogram(4chamber view), well demonstrated the right ventricular outflow tract, pulmonary valve, and pulmonaryarteries(main, right, left and peripheral), and also perimitted the detection of ASD in levophase. 4. The positionof ventricular septal defects was perimembranous in 199 cases(89.2%), subarterial in 15 cases(6.8%) andinfundibular (intracristal) in 9 cases(4%). Multiple ventricular septal defects (perimembranous& marginal ) werefound in 11 cases(4.5%). 5. In 35 cases(15.5%), pulmonary stenosis is found only in pulmonary infundibulum. Thecombination of its components was most commonly anterior wall and conus septum hypertrophy in 24 cases(68.6%) 6.Combined pulmonary stenosis was identified in 188 cases(84.3%). The most common combination was infundibular andpulmonary valvular stenosis in 56 cases(29.8%) 7. Associated cardiac anomalies were right aortic arch in 53 cases(23.8%), persistent left SVC in 17 cases (7.7%), ASD in 13 cases (5.9%), PDA in 9 cases(4.1%), aberrant subclavianartery in 5 cases(2.2%), IVC interruption with azygos continuation in 2 cases, single coronary artery in 2 cases, and anterior descending artery from right coronary artery in 1 case, etc. 8. Selective biplanecinecardioangiography with axial projection is essential to evaluate the size of left ventricle and to localizethe ventricular septal defects and pulmonary stenosis, and to detect associated cardiac anomalies in T.O.F. Sometimes aortography is necessary when anomaly of coronary arteries is suspected.

Congenital chylothorax is a rare disorder and can be diagnosed by prenatal ultrasonography recently. Most cases of congenital chylothorax were characterized by different clinical courses of respiratory distress. We describe two female cases with congenital chylothorax observed by ultra- sonography prenatally. In the first case, left-sided pleural effusion was noted by prenatal ultrasonography taken at 34 weeks of gestation, and then pleural fluid was extracted by intrauterine thoracentesis under sonography guidance. After birth, this patient was managed by TPN(total parentral nutrition) and intermittent thoracentesis without surgical treatment. But, pleural fluid was accumulated recurrently and respiratory distress was aggravated. At 15th hospital day, shock state was developed and patient died. In the second case, bilateral pleural effusion and ascites were noted by prenatal ultrasonography, and then patient was delivered immediately without intrauterine thoracentesis. After birth, the second case received conservative therapy including mechanical ventilation, TPN, intermittent thoracentesis and paracentesis. The patient was discharged with complete regression of chylothorax. We report the two cases with brief review of related literatures.
