Cutaneous pseudolymphoma (CPL) has a microscopic appearance that resembles that of cutaneous lymphoma, but shows a clinically benign course. The differential diagnosis of CPL with cutaneous lymphoma is very important because clinical outcomes of them are quite different. We herein describe two cases of B-cell pseudolymphoma, which were difficult to differentiate from cutaneous B-cell lymphlma. All of two cases, Polymerase chain reaction of immunoglobulin heavy chain gene rearrangement showed polyclonal pattern.

Journal of the Korean Society for Therapeutic Radiology 1985;3(1):13-18
To assess the result of radiation therapy for fifteen years experience, a total of 81 cases of pathologically proven vocal cord cancer had been analysed according to patient survival retrospectively. All the patients had been treated with radiation therapy using Co-0 teleherapy unit in curative aim. The results are as follows ; 1. According to AJCC staging, five year survival rate was 75.0% in stage I, 73.1% in stage II, 36.0% in stage III, and 20.0% in stage IV. 2. According to T-taging, five year survival rate was 75.0% in T1, 73.1% in T2, 24.3% in T3, and 25.0% in T4. 3. According to nodal status, five year survival rate was 59.4% in negative node group and 14.2% in positive group. 4. According to the histologic grade, the better in differentiation, the more in number of cases and the better in prognosis. 5. In summary, five year actuarial survival rate was 55.5% and ten year survival rate was 49.8% and ten year survivors totalled 12 cases.

Nutrition Research and Practice 2008;2(1):46-49
Anthocyanin pigments from varieties of black, red and wild rice were identified and quantified to evaluate their potential as nutritional function, natural colorants or functional food ingredients. Anthocyanin extraction was conducted with acidified methanol with 0.1M HCl (85:15, v/v) and identification of anthocyanin, aglycone and sugar moieties was conducted by comparison with purified standards by HPLC, Ultraviolet-Visible absorption spectrophotometer and paper chromatography. Black and wild rice showed three different types of pigments by HPLC whereas red rice variety did not show any anthocyanins. Out of three pigments detected, one (peak 2) was characterized as cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G) by comparison of spectroscopic and chromatographic properties with an authentic standard, and another (peak 3) was tentatively identified as cyanidin-fructoside on the basis of spectroscopic properties with lambdamax of aglycone in 1% HCl methanol at 537 nm, electrospray ionization mass spectra with major ions at 449 and 287 m/z and chromatographic properties. But another pigment (peak 1) has not been characterized. The most abundant anthocyanin in black and wild rice was C3G.

Pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) is a serious postoperative complication. Prompt diagnosis of PTE is important but it is difficult because clinical manifestations of PTE are not obvious in most cases. If a patient had tachypnea, cold sweating and hypoxemia in postoperative period, PTE must be thought to be one of possible causes of tachypnea. We have experienced one case of PTE after operation. A 40 year-old woman underwent total hystrectomy and partial omentectomy due to huge, bizarre shaped and inflammatory myoma presenting as an abdominal mass with abscess pocket accompanied by severe and adhesion. At the 5 th postoperative day tachypnea and hypoxemia were developed suddenly. PTE was confirmed with lung perfusion scan and leg edema with deep vein thrombosis occurred later. Proper cardiopulmonary support and anticoagulant therapy were done and the patient was recovered and discharged in improved condition.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 2017;55(4):249-252
Giant keratoacanthoma is an uncommon variant of keratoacanthoma, which may increase to a diameter of several centimeters. Although keratoacanthomas usually resolve spontaneously, giant keratoacanthoma can be invasive and destructive. A 49-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of multiple large hyperkeratotic and crusted plaques and nodules on sun-exposed areas such as the face, ear, hand, and forearm. Some lesions involuted spontaneously, whereas others became rather enlarged. The biopsy specimen revealed horn-filled crater formation, epidermal extending resembling a buttress, and an eosinophilic glassy appearance in the keratinocytic cytoplasm. We treated the lesions with acitretin, and they almost completely resolved after 13 weeks. Here we describe a case of multiple giant keratoacanthoma treated with acitretin.
