Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2018;35(6):943-952
Brain control is a new control method. The traditional brain-controlled robot is mainly used to control a single robot to accomplish a specific task. However, the brain-controlled multi-robot cooperation (MRC) task is a new topic to be studied. This paper presents an experimental research which received the "Innovation Creative Award" in the brain-computer interface (BCI) brain-controlled robot contest at the World Robot Contest. Two effective brain switches were set: total control brain switch and transfer switch, and BCI based steady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP) was adopted to navigate a humanoid robot and a mechanical arm to complete the cooperation task. Control test of 10 subjects showed that the excellent SSVEP-BCI can be used to achieve the MRC task by appropriately setting up the brain switches. This study is expected to provide inspiration for the future practical brain-controlled MRC task system.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2022;38(2):477-482
Primary intrahepatic stones (PIS) is a refractory disease with a high incidence rate in southwest China, and some patients still require surgery again or even more times after initial treatment. Many studies in recent years have shown that some specific flora can colonize in the intrahepatic bile duct, leading to chronic infection and inflammation of the biliary system, and these specific types of flora, called "stone-causing flora", can produce metabolites such as β-glucuronidase and play an important role in the formation of pigmented stones. This article analyzes the role of stone-causing flora in the pathogenesis of PIS, so as to provide more treatment options for PIS patients.

Neuroscience Bulletin 2018;34(5):842-848
The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) is considered to play a crucial role in many high-level functions, such as cognitive control and emotional regulation. Many studies have reported that the DLPFC can be activated during the processing of emotional information in tasks requiring working memory. However, it is still not clear whether modulating the activity of the DLPFC influences emotional perception in a detection task. In the present study, using transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS), we investigated (1) whether modulating the right DLPFC influences emotional face processing in a detection task, and (2) whether the DLPFC plays equal roles in processing positive and negative emotional faces. The results showed that anodal tDCS over the right DLPFC specifically facilitated the perception of positive faces, but did not influence the processing of negative faces. In addition, anodal tDCS over the right primary visual cortex enhanced performance in the detection task regardless of emotional valence. Our findings suggest, for the first time, that modulating the right DLPFC influences emotional face perception, especially faces showing positive emotion.
